Chapter three

Long after Caranthir had left, Fingon stood there in disbelief not quite sure what had happened and willing his heart to go back to normal. Hoping the fire that Carnistir had awoken in him will die down and fizzle out. So when he sees Maedhros again, he won't suspect a thing. 'Right, wishful thinking' Findekano thought as he shook himself, 'Maitimo will know, he always knows and he will do everything in his power to take what is his and let the world know. Oh I hope Caranthir is careful.' A shiver ran down Fingon's spine at the thought of the dark one Morifinwe.

'This is going to be a long night,' as he made his way to his sleeping roll. Fingon has this feeling that he'll run into Maitimo sometime tomorrow. Fingon pushed that thought out of his mind as he settled down to get some shut-eye. Turning his thoughts to the task at hand, finding Celebrimbor and getting him home safely.

Findekano had no more than laid down when one of the men with him come bursting in with news about the Sinda.

"My prince," he said out of breath.

Fingon was instantly alert, his sword in his hand "What is it?" he asked.

"They're on the move." he replied.

"What direction are they headed?" his queried.

"West, Sire."

Frowning Kano strode out of the tent and went to the look out point, he scanned the area to the west of them. It didn't take him long to find the Sinda who were traveling at a relaxed pace. 'What are they up to,' he thought as he watched them move freely through the trees uncaring if they're spotted. But Fingon knows to elven eyes they're visible but to an orc they are not.

"Tellon?"

"Yes Sire."

"Tonight I will go to their camp and take a look around, to see if my cousin is there." the high prince said "I will go alone."

"Uh yes Sire." the warrior replied all be it hesitantly for this goes against his training 'protect royal family.' Kano looked at him and smiled, placing a hand on his shoulder he says "I know what I'm doing you know."

"I know my prince, but that doesn't mean I have to like it." Tellon replied looking up at his prince.

"You're a good man Tellon."

"Thank you Sire."

Kano turned his attention back to the Sinda and gauged the distance he'll have to travel to get to them. He'll have to tread carefully, for he doesn't know this land as well as the Sinda do. Picking his path down and slightly to the right of where he figured they'll set up camp, Fingon prepared himself for what he has to do. Of course this is not as scary as when he rescued his cousin Maitimo.

The sun shone through the window casting its warm glow over the room. Upon the bed lay two elves one dark-haired and one light. The bit of sunlight that reached the bed shone on a tanned arm thrown over a pale chest. Dark and light, chocolate and honey weaved together as the elves slept, their breathing matched.

Somewhere outside in the crisp morning air, birds chirped and other sounds of nature filled the air signified a new day. In the kitchen the staff was getting everything ready for breakfast. The morning sounds didn't reach the two elves that were still asleep curled around each other. The platinum haired elf mumbled in his sleep and pressed closer to the brunette, throwing his leg over his son's hip.

Turgon tighten his hold on his father and buried his face into the long silky locks. His morning wood squashed against the Kings thigh and he started to thrust against him, Fingolfin moaned. Rolling to his side, he reciprocated and thrust back rolling his hips into his son's.

Their movements became erratic and soon humping each other just wasn't enough. Rolling over so he was on top of his father, Turgon captured his father's lips in a passionate kiss. Moaning into his son's mouth Nolofinwe wrapped his arms around Turu's neck pulling him closer.

Spreading his legs, his son slipped between them. Settling between the pale legs Turgon moved to his father's neck and nibbled on the love bite that was there. They were still rubbing themselves against each other but it was not what they needed.

Whimpering Fin gasped out the one word he should never say when they're in this situation, it just might chase the other elf away. "Son." Turgon froze, coming out of his lust filled haze. Pulling back he looked down at his father who arched into him. Biting back a moan Turu slid out of the King's arms and sat at the foot of the bed staring at the floor.

The look on his face was 'What am I doing?'

It doesn't take Fin long to noticed there is no friction and that the warmth was gone. The cold air hit his heated body like a winter's wind. Shivering slightly Nolofinwe sat up, looking at his son in confusion. He slid down the bed so he sat behind his son. Pale legs slid on either side of him and he wrapped his arms around his shoulders encasing Turgon in so he couldn't run. Placing a kiss on the juncture between neck and shoulder.

He felt Turu stiffen and pull away, but he was having none of that and he tighten his hold. "Stay! Please stay." he pleaded "I can't stand you avoiding me."

Sighing Turukano slumped against his father and whispered "This is wrong Ada, so wrong."

"NO!" the command rang through the air as Nolo turned his son's head towards him and kissed him softly on the mouth. "Never think that this is wrong. It isn't wrong. I love you my rebellious one." A chuckle emitted from Turu's lips, his warm breath brushing over Fin's lips that are still against his.

Smiling a bit Fin continued "I have loved you for a long time, more than a father should. I tried to push my feelings for you away, but they wouldn't let me. Not truly anyway, they've always hovered near the surface." Nolo kissed his way along his son's jaw to reach his ear. Nibbling on the lobe, he got a moan from his son, this one not kept quiet.

A growled "Ada." told Fin that he shouldn't push it. But the king was trying to prove to his son that what they're doing is right. He bit down on the lobe and got another moan for his effort. Grinning he continued to test his son's control.

Until…..

He found himself on his back with a very aroused elf on him. Turu bit down hard on his father's shoulder. A pained whimper passed his lips, which turned into a moan as Turukano soothed it with his tongue.

Fingon crept along staying low to the ground. Pausing now and then to listen for any movement of a sentry. He's been skirting around the edge of the camp for the last hour and has yet to get close enough to see anything.

Sinking down in some bushes to rest and think about what he'll do next. He settled his back against a rock that was there and contemplated. Staying alert, as he thought, so as not to get sneaked up on. He studied the encampment threw slitted eyes.

The Sinda were moving around in the camp, there was only one small fire and that was near the center of the camp. It was casting a shadow against the tents, so it was hard to see. 'Clever,' he thought as he shifted a bit until he was on his stomach and scooted forward some. He scanned the outer edge of the camp, and saw how he could get closer.

Staying on his belly he slithered forward until he was on the other side of the few horses that were there. Crouching next to one which looked at him and snorted in alarm. Findekano froze.

One Sinda came over to calm the horses because they all threw their heads up in startlement. The elf had long soft gold locks and pale green eyes, the prince was transfixed. The low voice of the elf calmed the horses, soon they were snuffling around him.

He laughed a musical sound bubbling up out of his throat. "Alright there my beauties, here you go." he pulled out some treat for the mighty animals. Whilst they munched on the tasty tib bit the Forest elf murmured to them. Fingon managed to slip by and into the camp. Keeping to the shadows he scanned the camp and saw no sign of his cousin.

Turning to slip back the way he came proved difficult for there was an arrow in his face. Kano reacted by knocking the arrow out-of-the-way and drew his 4 and a half-foot sword. Taken by surprise, not thinking that the Noldo would shove the arrow out-of-the-way. The Sinda was caught off balance, by the time he regained his feet and turned to the dark-haired elf there was a sword in his face.

The Elves glared at each other, circling around until quick like a cat Fingon slipped away, past the horses and into the night.
