Maura's breathe catches at the sight of her father strapped to the execution

table. She looks over and sees the already prepared injection supplies.

Maura's eyes meet with her father's and he looks at her with sadness. She

saw no fear, only sadness and regret.

The microphone is brought to his face as the prison doctor walks in.

He begins speaking.

" Maura I'm here, because I deserve to be. I killed two innocent people for

mob business. I'm a bad person and I know that. Don't let what I've done

haunt you or my death tonight define you. You're everything I should have

been. Good, gracious, thoughtful, respectful and smart. I've been so

stupid and selfish. Live your life and learn from everything. Make no

mistake twice. I love you. To the victims families, I'm so very sorry for what I did. "

He finishes and they take the mic away.

The doctor prepares his arm and inserts the I.V. Maura and Jane look on.
