Well… I thought I was uploading them but Fanfiction wasn't accepting my files. I didn't realize that it did not accept the type of document I was uploading so I had to retype it (I forgot that Copy and Paste existed XD) and here it is. No promises on when it will be uploaded but I will try to get it done.

I reattached my right arm and looked at. Looked like normal. I smiled and activated the portal gun. My forearm plating slid backwards and folded into itself. My hand split open and my middle finger, thumb, and pinkie moved to become the gravity prongs. My index and ring finger twisted to become a ring where the portals are fired from. A hole formed in my palm and I smiled. It worked. I fired a set of portals at some white panels. A bright purple and a neon green set of portals opened up. I walked through them with a growing smile. Perfect. I made the portals disappear with a slight fwoosh and made my arm go back to normal.

I walked out of the room and down the hall. A elevator was waiting at the end. I stepped into it and looked at the floors. Medical Wing. Main Chamber. Outside. Cryo-chambers. Testing Chambers. Etc Etc. I pushed the medical wing button and the doors slid shut. The elevator started its descent. After a few seconds it stopped and opened. I walked out of the elevator and through a rectangular door. There was two rows of ten beds each. Four were occupied. One had Connor, one Nikki, another had the mystery lady, and the last had the little core that had control of the facility. Everyone except the core was asleep. It looked over at me and then back at mystery lady. It tried to wriggle back with its handles but didn't work.

"Don't kill me!" It exclaimed.

I rolled my eyes and whispered back "Two things. One keep quiet, people are sleeping. Two if I wanted to kill you you'd be dead. What's your name and that lady in the jumpsuits name?"

It stopped trying to wriggle away and whispered "Oh right. Sorry. I'm Wheatley. That lady's name is...Um...I don't actually know."

A quiet voice came from the speakers. "Her name is Chell [Redacted] Test subject. I was going to let her go but the radiation levels from the surface are incredible high. You are not affected because you're an android. It would kill her within minutes. What a waste of a test subject."

I nodded and looked back over the sleeping bodies. I turned around and left again. I walked to the elevator and pressed the newly labeled button 'Workshop'. The elevator began to ascend. The elevator stopped and the lights went out. Then loud screaming was heard over the PA. I turned my night vision on and punched a hole in the roof of the elevator. I activated my thrusters and flew up towards the main chamber. I slammed through the floor in time to see three silvery looking human things standing under the deactivated chassis. One of them had a memory stick in their hands. I flew towards him as white glowy rings began to circle them. Before I could tackle him another moved into my way. I slammed into him as the others disappeared.

I grabbed his throat and yelled "WHERE DID THEY TAKE HER?"

He spoke in a robotic tone "To the dragon satellite to be uploaded to the dragon mainframe to be scanned and then deleted."

I growled and ripped his head off. Sparks exploded from it and I dropped it. I ran for where the elevator usually sits and rocketed up. I blew a hole through the top of the shed and into the outdoors. I quickly hacked back into the dragon's satellite and saw that they had began to upload GLaDOS. I made the servers reject the file. I quickly made a password for the computers and then rebooted them. It wouldn't stopped them, but it could slow them down. I pushed my thrusters to the max and warnings began to pop up on my HUD.

Error. Thrusters Exceeding Maximum Capacity. Slowing Down.

Overriding Safety Procedures.

I quickly overrode my safety procedures and forced myself faster. I broke through the atmosphere and into space. I corrected my course for the satellite and sped up again. It quickly came into view. I hit the side of it and punched into it. The air inside of it was sucked out and a cyberman followed. The other one held onto a metal pipe. I flew into it and sank my fist into his chest. A high pitched squealing came from it. I tore something out and threw it. I turned towards the computer and pulled out the memory stick out carefully. My neck opened up and I plugged it in. My vision flashed as she attempted to shut me down.

'Hey it me. Krystal. It's okay GLaDOS. You're safe now.' I thought towards her.

She stopped and thought back 'How?'

'I killed the cyber-men and took you back. You're currently hooked into me. I don't have anywhere that I could store you where you wouldn't be destroyed on reentry. We are in the dragon's satellite.'

'Ah. okay.'

I smirked and closed my neck. I flew out of the satellite and landed on the top. I grabbed a couple handfuls of metal and began to push the satellite out of space. It was slow going but it was still moving. Eventually gravity began to do its job and we sped up. I had to close my eyes as to not break the optics when we caught fire. I began to rely on my senses to tell me where I was. According to my altimeter I should pull up about….Now. I threw my thruster into overdrive and began to slow my descent. I slowed into a stop about a hundred meters above the ground. I sighed in relief and opened my eyes. The satellite had crashed into the ground and exploded. I looked over the remains. I could probably use most of this.

'This body is amazing. I can't get over how amazing this is. So many options. I could do so many things with something like this!' GLaDOS exclaimed.
Immediately I made plans. I could take the arc reactor from this satellite and to power a android. The metal from it would make a strong endoskeleton. I would have to use some silicon for skin. I could use wire for hair. I could dismantle the computers for a few strong processors. The on board weapon system would make a amazing set of weapons. I made up my mind. I would build a second android body. But first to drop GLaDOS off.

I quickly made my way to the broken shed and sank down the elevator shaft. I slowly made my way down till I hit the main chamber. I landed on the floor and walked over to the chassis. I unplugged the memory stick from my neck and stuck it in a port in the chassis. Immediately the facility came to life. The panels that I broke disappeared into the abyss and new ones took their place. I smiled and turned for the elevator.

"Thank you. For saving me. If you need anything just ask." She said.

I smirked and turned. "I could use some silicon if you have any."

She nodded and I turned back for the elevator. I rode it up to the surface and began to gather parts. I stuffed the elevator till I could barely fit and squeezed myself in. I managed to move my hand around the parts to press 'Workshop'. The elevator descended to the workshop. I pulled the tech out of the elevator and then activated my jammer. Then I began to work. I began by smelting the metal from the satellite into the parts for the endoskeleton. I then made the joints and the spine. So many tiny pieces needed for this. I carefully formed all of the main body and then stuck the tech into it. I hooked everything up correctly and then molded the silicon onto it. Perfect. I took apart a couple of cameras and made them into a one way tinted lens. They would look yellow from the outside and clear from the inside. I carefully inserted them into the optics and they stuck in place. Perfect. Only one way to test it. I grabbed a wire from my neck and plugged it into the slot on the back of its neck. I switched bodies and quickly ran through all the systems. Great. I went back to my body and unplugged myself. I opened the chest cavity and placed the Arc Reactor inside. I screwed it into place and hit the power up button to test it. It glowed a bright blue and hummed happily. I smiled and switched it back off. She could turn it on once she get in it.

I closed the chest cavity and picked it up by the waist to sling it over my shoulder. I gently placed it on the table and pulled out a lab coat, pair of sturdy boots, tan pants, olive green sweater, and undergarments. I dressed it up and stepped back. Perfect. I looked it up and down. It looked nice. I smiled and slung it back over my shoulder. I took it back to the main room and set it down on a chair. I started to dig through the boxes of junk till I found it. A length of ribbon. I tied a nice bow onto the android's head. Nice. I grabbed it one last time and set it in a large tool cart. I closed the lid over it and wheeled it out and towards the elevator. I frowned as I realized that the cart wouldn't fit inside it. I pondered this for a second before the panel under me started to move. It ascended upwards and towards GLaDOS' chamber. The panel fit into the floor nicely. GLaDOS was staring at me.

"What is that cart for? And why do you have it?" She asked curiously. I replied without hesitating, "I have a thank you gift. You have let my friends and I in here without hesitating. You helped me repair myself and let me use a workshop. It's my fault you got kidnapped. And to repay to I made something." I opened the cart up and lifted the android out of it. "And besides. No one deserves to be stuck all the time." I laid it down on the floor under her and stepped back. She stared at it for a while.

"I…. But….Thank you." She slowly said. She lowered herself to the floor and continued. "Is it safe?" I nodded. "Good. Hook it up."

I smiled and moved the android closer to the chassis. I opened the port in the back of the neck and plugged the cord in it to the back of the chassis' core and stepped back. The lights dimmed and the optic shut off. The facility went quiet for a few seconds as it booted up. Then the humming of the reactor started again and the lights came back on. A arm moved and pulled the cord from the chassis. It sat up as the cord retracted back into the neck. Then the eyes opened. Those bright golden eyes.
"Whoa. You really went all out. So many new toys. I can't wait to test them." She said.

I nodded and said "Oh one thing. I was wondering if I could go explore part of the facility that I fell into?"

She nodded and said "That is permitted." I smiled before a panel moved out from under me. I rolled my eyes as I fell into the depths. I used my gyroscope to orient myself upwards and used the thrusters in my feet to slow my fall. I went down miles into the facility till I passed a large concrete and steel door. I took off for where I saw the main lobby. I blew open a door part of the ceiling to access it. Test shafts one through twelve. Hmm. I walked over to shaft one and peered at the sign next to the door.'Cube and Button.'. Door Two. 'Fizzler.' Door Three. '' Door Four. 'Quantum Tunneling Device.' Door Five. 'Long Fall Boot.' Door Six. 'Gel.' Door Seven. 'Sentry Turret.' Door Eight. 'Manipulative Panels.' Door Nine. 'Energy Pellet.' Door Ten. 'Excursion Funnel.' Door Eleven. 'Robotics.' Door Twelve. 'Genetic Life-form and Disk Operating System Prototype and Artificial Intelligence.' Hmm. I walked up to the door and waited a second for it to open. Nothing. I frowned and dug my fingers into the seam between the door panels and yanked them apart. Pitch black.

I activated my night vision and peered around the empty hall. A few doors here and there. The first one read Artificial Intelligence. I yanked the door open and entered the room. A row of computers sat on old wood tables. A machine sat at the back with a three pronged plug. A sphere sat on the floor. I recognized it as a core like Wheatley's. I picked it up and saw an outlet that would fit into the plug. I saw it on a table next to the machine. I sat down in a musty chair in front of a computer and grabbed the power cord for the monitor and tower. I stuffed the ends of them in my mouth. I pressed the power button on both and waited as the computer booted up. It opened up to the main desktop screen. Two files sat on the screen. The recycle bin and a file marked AI. I clicked it and saw tons of files in it. Dozens of them. Anger, Fear, Adventure, Space, Idiocy, and Fact were just a few. I stopped scrolling once I saw a file marked Humanity. I clicked it open. Immediately the screen went blue. The computer crashed. I rolled my eyes and spat out the plugs. The computer went dark. I stood up and walked over to the door. I got a bad feeling and turned back around. The core that was on the table had the optic open. Red light showed from the optic. It look at me and started growling. I raised an eyebrow and started to turn back around. The core rolled off the table and towards me. I stepped back and shut the door. I heard it smack into the door and growl. I rolled my eyes and continued down the hall.

The last door on the hall read 'GLaDOS Prototype Room.' I yanked the doors open. Once in I spied a switch in a control room off to a side. I walked over to it and kicked the door down. I flipped the switch and the room light up. A birds nest sat on the keyboard. A crow sat in it. I smiled and slowly walked over to it. It cocked its head and stared at me. I gave a small wave and took a step back when I noticed a few eggs in the nest. I turned around and began to walk down the hall when my sensors picked up movement behind me. The crow landed on my shoulder and rubbed it's head on the side of my head. I reached up and gave it a pet down the spine. It cawed in my ear and butted it's head against my ear. Then it jumped off and went back towards the nest. I waved behind me and continued on my way. I left the test shaft and began to explore. I eventually found a door labeled Johnson. I remembered from the website that someone named Cave Johnson ran this place. I stepped into the large office. Bookshelves covered the rear wall and two desks sat in there. One read Caroline Fasmos. The second read Cave Johnson. A leather chair sat positioned behind them. A hefty computer sat on Cave's desk while a few bookbooks sat on Caroline's. I glanced at the cover for the top one. GLaDOS Instruction Manual. I picked the book up and blew the dust off. I used one hand to lift my shirt slightly and watched as my abdomen split in half. I placed the bookbook next to two glass tubes and a few other random items. Strangely enough including a small laptop and a pistol. I knicked the gun from a werewolf and the computer was Connor's. The plating slid closed and I dropped the shirt. The next bookbook was Moby Dick. I walked over to Cave's desk and sat down at it. The computer was already running the lock screen. I felt the port in my neck slid open and the cord unravel. I grabbed it and slid it neatly into a usb port. I set a program to decode the password. I blew the dust off the keyboard as the program finished. Combustible Lemons. What? I shook my head and typed it in. A window popped up asking if I wished to establish a connection to all parts of the facility. I clicked yes. Immediately the screen blinked off and GLaDOS' voice came through the speakers.

"What did you do? I can see into the old facility. Why are you there?" She asked.

I replied "I was wondering around and found this office. I hacked into this computer and used it to connect the new facility and old facility. Problem?"

"No. There is so many old tests that I could do. Look at all the items that failed the testing because it was too dangerous. Testing will continue." The speakers crackled and died. I stood up from the computer and looked through the office. In the corner was a safe. I charged a plasma shot up and fired at the safe. The plasma put a burn mark on it but that was all. I grabbed the dial and twisted it to try to decode it. It made no noise. I frowned and saw the Aperture Science brand on the dial. I sighed and shoved my sword out. I began to heat it up. I rested the tip of it on the safe. Nothing happened until the sword passed four-thousand Celsius. Then the metal began to deform. I slowly cut the front of the safe off. Then I used my cooling system to cool my sword off before stowing it. I looked in. A bunch of paper. An orange portal gun. A lemon with a piece of wire in it. I grabbed the paper and the lemon and stowed them carefully in my stomach. Then I walked out of the room and to the hole I made earlier and used my thrusters to launch myself into the air. I flew up towards the main chamber. the panel above me moved out of the way at the last second. I noticed that the android was sat in a chair with a few wires sticking out of the neck as the chassis peered at me.

"I am running a program to create a wireless up-link to the facility from the android. I would like to be able to control the facility from the android. If you have the time I do need help with something. As you may be aware there is two parts of the facility. There is the new facility that I control and there is the old facility from Cave Johnson's era. I cannot control that facility and I have recently found the reason why. A junction that connected both facility's was shut down and must be reactivated. And I have recently received a strange signal from the arctic. I do not know what is it but would like to find out. After you reset the junction you need to find the source of the signal." I nodded and then fell back out of the chamber. I used my thrusters to catch myself. A message popped up in the corner of my optic. It showed me the location of the junction. I pointed myself towards it and sped towards it. I slowed down as I reached a rusting steel room. A single window sat in the middle. I landed on the catwalk that lead to the door. The catwalk shook but held. I walked over to the door and twisted the knob. The door swung open easily. A ruined desk sat on the wall with the window. A multitude of buttons sat on it surrounding a switch. It was set to a disconnect setting. I flipped it up to the connect setting. A loud groaning began as a huge piston on the other side of the glass began to move. A wire that was thicker than me was attached to it. It moved towards a port in the wall. It slowly connected to it and then stopped.

"It worked. I now have complete control over the entire facility. And ooh. So many new things to test. Let the Science begin." GLaDOS spoke over the intercom. I smiled and turned to leave when GLaDOS said "Someone is setting up a device outside. Wait. It's glowing. What is-" Static filled the air as the lights went out. I painful feeling hit me as my generators shut down. A EMP. I forced myself to stay conscious. When the pain passed I attempted to stand up but nothing reacted. I forced myself to reboot.

I opened my eyelids and peered around. Dark. I slowly managed to stand up. I had to stop them. I made it to the catwalk. I tried to activate my thrusters but it warned me that I did not have enough power. I overrode the safety protocols and lifted off.

Warning. Power at 10%

I managed to literally crash into the main chamber. GLaDOS was in her Chassis and swung around to see me.

"An EMP. How are you still online?" I asked.

She replied "My chassis and the cores are built with EMP shielding. What I am worried about is the reactor. It should be alright but I want to make sure."

I nodded and heard a growling noise from my left. I turned towards it in time to see a large wolf with bright orange fur rip the door off. Connor and Chell followed. Chell was carrying Wheatley. Connor asked what happened and I told him.

He lookayed confused as he said"If they used an EMP then you shouldn't be don't have very good EMP shielding. I know because I have copies of your blueprints. My uncle sent me them in case something bad happened to you."

I replied "I'm not online fully. I am at 9% battery power and I have no weapons, defenses, or way to get more power. The EMP tookay them out and I cannot fix them at the minute. My nanobots will eventually repair them but it will take a while. Who is your-"

I was interrupted from a bunch of panels in the ceiling falling in. Five dragons in full battle armor dropped in followed by three werewolf's. I frowned and took a fighting stance.

"I would not fight. You have a choice. Either you come with us or we will bomb the entire planet. We have a Xeno Cruiser in orbit. A world destroyer. Come with us and we will not harm your companions. Your choice." The largest dragon said.

I pondered the choice. Go with them and endure who knows how much torture or stay and watch as my friends are killed. I heard scraping behind me. I turned and saw Connor switching forms.

I sighed and said "How do I know you won't harm them?"

A crooked grin grew on his face. "I swear on Drago that we dragons will not harm your companions. As a matter of a fact I swear that no living species will bring them harm. Does that work?"

I raised an eyebrow. Drago was the Dragon God. For someone to swear on him meant that they would not break that vow. I nodded and said "Fine. Leave them alone and I will go with you" Immediately protests broke out behind me. I ignored them. He grinned and grabbed me with a huge clawed fore-paw. His wings flapped and he lifted off into the air. He landed outside the facility and spoke into a device on his chest.

"Beam us up. I have Y1." A bright light surrounded us and the world distorted. A few seconds later we were enclosed in a large circular room with round lights on the floor and ceiling. The dragon carried me out of the room and through a series of hallways until we entered a room with a ton of mechanical parts. The dragon strapped me onto a table in the center of the room and growled out "It is strapped down." A smaller dragon came in and stood over me. It peered over me and began to excitedly chatter.

"This is amazing. A relic of old times from when we used such simple and inefficient robotics to fight. I can't wait to tear it apart and study it." He spoke. The bigger one huffed and turned for the door. Once he left the smaller dragon yanked my shirt up to access my chest and stomach. He tried to pry it open but I locked them in place. He frowned and turned. He came back with a odd looking device that appeared to be a small tube with a button on it. He smiled darkly and pointed one end at me. He pressed the button and a horrible screeching noise. My back arched at the noise deafened me. I could feel my servos and motors moving against my will. My vision went dark and electric shocked emanated from all over me. Then it stopped. I peered downwards to see that my chest was open slightly. A perfectly straight line down the center to the bottom of my sternum where it split left and right. He grinned and pulled the two halves of my chest open and gave a dark chuckle. I began to think of ways out. Not many with my weapons down. But maybe. If I could get free I could fry the engine and set a self destruct. But how to get free.

He turned around long enough to put the strange device away. He began to root around in my chest. I attempted to turn the heating or cooling system on but I didn't have the required power. My solar generators were still rebooting. I saw something out of the corner of my eyes. A old and decrepit android. A model G7 cleaning bot. The chest was open revealing the main processor. It had a wire sticking into the battery. Charging. That could work. I twisted my pinky finger towards it and opened the tip of it. A small radio receiver and transmitter was sitting in it. It was used to hack into things that I couldn't reach. It was about a centimeter wide and a centimeter and a half long. A spiked end allowed it to stick to what it was fired at. I shot it out of my finger and it sailed through the air into the droids processor.

My vision flickered as I sent a series of orders to it. It slowly unhooked the charging cables and shut it's chest cavity. It stood up and wrenched a sharp slab of metal from the table it sat on. The dragon turned towards it as it lunged for him. While they were busy fighting I focused on starting my generators. As the dragon ripped off the left arm of the droid my generators began to power up. Perfect. I shut my chest cavity and ripped my hands out of the restraining cuffs. I tore the ones off my feet and stood up behind the dragon as he bit the droid in half. My weapon systems had just came back online. I slid my sword out and let my shield unfold. He backed up to the far wall and I followed him. I brought my arm up and swung it at his head. At the last second I twisted my arm so the flat of the blade smacked soundly against his skull. I'm not a monster. I turned away from him and went to the door. It didn't have a lock on it so as I got closer to it it slid open. I was on full alert as I walked down the hallway. It was quiet. The only noise was the whisper engines running too quiet for a dragon or human to hear. I turned a corner and stopped. At the end of the hall was a camera pointed straight at me. As soon as it saw me a alarm began to blare. I cursed in my head and ran down the hall. I turned a corner and was met with three fully armored dragons. I turned around to race down the way I came to see four werewolves. Great. I let my arc taser replace my shield on my left arm while I left my sword out on my right. I gave a sigh and closed my eyes. My radar kept me informed of where they were. I had no plans of this ship. I shifted my footing and a werewolf charged me. I opened my eyes and twisted to the side and held my blade towards the open maw of the giant wolf. I felt the heavy weight collide with me as the wolf slid onto my sword. It struggled and tried to back off it but I raised my left arm and aimed it at it's chest. I fired and blew a hole in it's chest. I yanked my hand out of it's mouth. I slid the sword into my arm and grabbed the body by the back of the neck. I spun and threw it at the dragons. As I faced the wolves again my sword came back out. The three remaining wolves charged at me. I dropped to the floor as they leaped over me. My sword slid along one's soft underbelly and he fell, whimpering. The two wolves growled at me but didn't attack. They were guarding their wounded ally. I turned away from them and took off down the hall.

I took a left turn down a hallway and smacked into a wolf cub. I fell onto my butt and groaned. The cub was just a couple years old. Grey fur with a white underbelly. He took a look at me and yelped, his paws skidding as they tried to gain purchase on the slick floor. I noticed two wolves coming out of a room and looking at him. His parents. They saw me and growled, hackles raising to try to intimidate me. I activated my thrusters in my feet and slid backwards over the floor. I only stopped when I slammed into a door. I shut them off and stood up.

The door's label was in Fasmos, the language of the dragons. It read Armory. I smiled and let my hands go back to normal. I began to scan it. Hydraulic with an electric lock. Currently locked. An EMP wouldn't work as it runs on a private generator. But I could possible slid my sword into the small crack between the door and the lock. It would electrocute me but overload the generator. Perfect. I slid my sword out and pressed it into the small crack. I added more pressure until the metal groaned and gave away. The blade slid into the larger crack and in between the door and the electric prongs that magnetized the door shut. A reading on my HUD told me that the electricity in my circuits had raised by fifteen percent. The generator was still running. That shouldn't be happening. It should have overloaded. Fine. I diverted some of my power to my sword. I heard claws scraping the ground down the hall. I turned my head and saw the three dragons had caught up to my with five new werewolf's. Great. I pushed more electricity through my sword and I heard a crackling. Then there was a muted boom and the door slid open.

I ran in and yanked the door back into place. It tried to open but I twisted a corner of the door to stop it from moving. I turned around and gasped. That was a lot of weapons. Exo-suits. Laser weaponry. Old fashioned swords. Armour. Every type of weapon was in this room. And in the corner was a shelf with a very big metal cylinder. A human hydrogen nuke. I let a smile break out. Perfect. I noticed a small computer terminal in the corner of the room. And I mean small for a dragon. It was about three foot by three foot screen. I went over to it and began to hack into it, bypassing the firewalls with minor difficulty. Best thing about being an AI was the knowledge of how to move through a computer to disable whatever I wanted to. Like the firewalls. I downloaded the schematics for this ship and found out that they only had one other ship. It was at their home planet to get a new warp drive. And stern. Warp drive failure teleported half the ship to nothingness. So that would take a couple years to fix. Perfect. I ran over to one of the exo-suits and pressed my hand to the top. It unfolded and stood up to be just over fifteen foot. A dragon exo-suit. The suit would cover the entire dragon including the wings. It was light enough to still fly but armored enough to take quite a beating. It was very roomy inside. Time to get to work.

Ten minutes later.

As the door was beaten on I finished getting the exo-suit ready. I was connected to it and ready to fight. I walked up to the door and used one huge paw to bash it down. There was four dragons and seven wolves. A few humanoid beings were there as well. I swiped at them and they fell back. The dragons tried to climb onto me but I beat them off with my tail. My claws tore lines in one dragon's side, going through the armor easily. The humanoid ones began to fire weapons at me. But thankfully the armor was too thick and there were no pain receptors in this. A small machine gun slid out of the shoulders and returned fire. I forced my way down the hallway and into a conference room. I stopped right in the middle. I began to dig my way through the floor, the sharp claws of the suit digging into the metal floor plates and ripping them out of the floor. The floor under me, devoid of most of the weight bearing metal, collapsed and dropped me into the warp drive room. More enemies fell down into this room. I tossed them aside and opened the back of the suit. Four nukes sat inside armed and waiting for a signal.

I remotely disconnected from the suit and back into my body, which was inside a slightly smaller exo-suit. It was about ten foot tall. Perfect size for Connor. I hacked into this one and ran over to the door. I passed lifeless bodies as I ran for the escape pods. I made it without any difficulties and put in coordinates for Earth. The pod blew out of the ship and flew at a high speed away. When I was a few miles away I sent to signal, turning the bombs into timed bombs. A ten minute timer began to count down. They should be able to defuse it but the virus in the computer will cause the self destruct alarms to blare a few minutes before the ship warps into a star.

We hadn't left orbit. The warp drive was still spinning up. I saw escape pods being fired out. I watched out the window as the off grey metal began to heat up from reentry. The pod shook as it made it's way through the atmosphere. A few hundred feet above the ground the thrusters fired in reverse and slowed the descent down as not to smash into the ground. It landed somewhat gently. I pulled a small red handle near the door and watched as small charges blew the door away. I climbed out and began the walk to Aperture.
