Hey! I know this hasn't been updated in a while! Sorry! So now Harry's in the States and reunited with Kelly? How will meeting the family go? Will Gibbs shoot Harry? Read on to find out! Review and enjoy! Replies to certain reviews below! Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or NCIS, but I totally should.

Harry twisted his neck back and forth, trying to elevate the stiffness. No

matter how many times he rode on an airplane, whether it was first class or a military priority ride, he always felt cramped. He still remembered the feeling of flight on his toy broom as a child. He had loved it, being in the air, but when that virus had robbed him of his magic it had taken that from him too. Being on a broom was one of the few things he missed about having magic, not that he thought it about it much. Not having magic didn't bother him like it did other people.

The Wizarding world was not kind to Squibs, and though he didn't fit in that category technically he was often treated like it. His family was particularly sensitive to any slight he received due to his lack of magic, and Sirius and Charlie had gotten into their fair share of duels at Hogwarts defending their little brother. Their dad refused to issue punishments to his sons for those duels, and McGonagall had surprisingly agreed.

Even though he was never her student, the Transfiguration professor had always had a soft spot for Harry, probably because he had his mother's emerald eyes. She always kept him entertained at parties when he was a child and had researched vicariously to see if there was any hope for Harry's magic right after the virus hit. There wasn't.

In all honesty, Harry was thankful for that virus. If he had magic, he would have never met Eli in primary school. They wouldn't be best friends, and Harry would consider that a serious loss (though he would never tell Eli that because guys didn't admit that kind of stuff). If he had magic, he would have never joined the Marines, a choice he considered the best he's ever made. Yes, the work was hard and grueling, and sometimes he ached for home so badly he thought it would kill him, but Harry got great satisfaction out of what he did, knowing he was serving his country. But, most of all to Harry, if he had magic he would have never met Kelly Gibbs.

Harry was sprung out of his musings by an announcement. "Passengers, please put your trays in the upright position and place all bags back under your seat. The seatbelt light will be going on monetarily. We are beginning our descent into Washington Dulles International Airport."

He leaned back in his seat, closing his eyes. He hadn't seen Kelly in months, and the last visit had only been 48 hours he'd managed to snag in between assignments. This was a full week, a week to do nothing but relax and enjoy each other's company. God, he missed her. Sometimes, he would just pull out her picture at night and stare at it until his eyelids grew heavy. He sent her the occasional email when he could get a hold of a computer, but mostly they wrote each other letters. Due to the mail delivery system in Afghanistan, the letters often came late and sometimes out of order, but every day Harry received a letter was a good one.

The plane landed on the ground smoothly, and the flight attendant was on the speaker yet again. "Thank you for flying Delta Airlines. We hope you enjoyed your flight and will come again soon. Please wait until the seatbelt signal has been turned off before exiting the plane."

Harry smiled widely, looking at the time. Maybe he didn't mind airplanes after all…

Kelly was waiting in front of the airport anxiously, her foot tapping nervously against the ground. She had counted down the minutes, the seconds, until she could go pick up Harry at the airport. Her friend Lindsay had even offered to cover her shift so she could get dressed up beforehand; claiming that a woman seeing her man for the first time in months should remind him of what he was missing. She had been too grateful to refuse.

Kelly chose to wear a light green dress that hit right above her knees. It roughly and fun, and more importantly she had worn it on one of her and Harry's first dates. He had frequently expressed his appreciation for said dress. Her hair was down and curled slightly at the tips, and she was wearing the beautiful necklace he had given her for her birthday. She was fingering it anxiously now, her eyes glued to the door.

An elderly woman smiled at her. "Waiting for a man, my dear?" she guessed knowingly.

Kelly nodded, pulling her hair behind her ear. "My boyfriend," she explained. "He's in the Marines, and I haven't seen him in a long time."

"Ah, I remember what that was like," the woman said in wistful reminiscence. "I remember I got all gussied up to go to the airport to pick up Leonard after the war ended and he was shipped back home." She laughed. "I must have put on a dozen coats of lipstick while I was waiting just so I would have something to do with my hands."

Kelly would've replied, but at that moment she spotted Harry walk through the doors, duffel bag in hand. She threw herself at him with all her might. Harry laughed and drop his bag, twirling her around for a moment before letting her back on the ground.

"Miss me, love?" he teased gently, his emerald eyes shining. Kelly didn't say anything. Instead, she kissed him long and hard, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him close.

In the background, Kelly could vaguely hear that old woman muttering, "Young love…", but she was too preoccupied to pay her much attention. When the need for breath got to be too much, they pulled apart.

"So I'll take that as a yes then," Harry said softly, his breath hot against her cheek.

"Take it," Kelly agreed eagerly. "Did you miss me?"

Harry gave her a look. "I just spent eight hours on an airplane voluntarily," he stated as if that explained everything. To Kelly, it explained enough. Harry, oddly enough, hated riding airplanes. It was the one part of his job he despised.

"My hero," she quipped.

Harry flashed her one of those devastating smiles. "You know it, love. So, where to?" He picked up his duffel bag and slung it across his shoulder though he didn't let go of Kelly, keeping his hand around her waist. She enjoyed the contact, burrowing into her boyfriend as they walked to the car.

As they got into her blue Ford Focus, Kelly said casually, "We're having dinner with my dad and his team tonight."

Harry's eyes widened as Kelly put on her seatbelt and started to drive. "Kelly, I just got home from a warzone, and now you want me to go into another place where I'll possibly get killed? That goes against all my common sense."

"Seatbelt," she reminded him as she drove. Harry put on his seatbelt. "Daddy wouldn't kill you. He knows that would make me mad."

"Yeah," Harry agreed cheerfully. "He could just have that Israeli assassin you told me about take me out, and then Abby could just remove all evidence of the crime."

"Don't be silly, babe," Kelly said brightly. "Ziva's too good at what she does to leave any evidence."

Harry just glowered at her, crossing his arms around his chest like a little kid. Kelly laughed. "Please Harry? For me?" she pouted, batting her eyelashes and bringing out her upper lip.

Harry cursed quietly to himself. This bird was going to be the death of him. "Fine," he agreed. Kelly smiled widely and pecked him on the cheek. He couldn't say no to her when she looked like that, especially in that green dress. He loved that dress… And taking it off. "You're one wicked woman, Kelly Gibbs."

Kelly shrugged her shoulders. "You love me anyway." Harry definitely couldn't argue with that statement. He just kissed her head softly and leaned out the window a bit. Kelly hummed a catchy tune from a radio as she drove. Oh yes, Harry would be rewarded tonight…

Everyone was already at Gibbs's house a half hour before dinner was even set to start. No one was sure if it was a coincidence or a planned event as they all sat in the living room. Gibbs paced back and forth uncharacteristically, his hand occasionally twitching as if it wanted to be holding a gun.

"Jethro, it's not like Kelly's never had a boyfriend before," Jenny pointed out calmly. In all honesty, she was happy for her stepdaughter. Jenny knew from experience that finding real love was hard, and from what Kelly told her that was what this relationship was. However, she knew that Jethro would not be so easily convinced. This was his only daughter after all.

"Not like this," Gibbs insisted, becoming increasing flustered. "What do you think they're doing right now?"

"Having sex?" Tony suggested offhandedly. Gibbs gave him a look so scary Darth Vader would've been intimidated. Tony instantly backpedaled. "I mean, they're probably on their way now, Boss! Right, McGee?"

"It takes exactly ten minutes and fifteen seconds to get her from Kelly's apartment," McGee said automatically. No one questioned why he knew that. It was just a McGee thing like Tony's movie references or Ziva's confusion over American idioms. "Adding in traffic, that time is more like fifteen minutes. They could be…" Seeing his boss's facial expression, he guessed, "Playing Scrabble?"

Tony gave his partner a look. "Playing Scrabble? Really, McGee? Would that be the first thing you do after coming home to your girlfriend who you haven't seen in months?"

Ziva interjected. "Look, Kelly is a grown woman. I do not see any problem with her having a serious boyfriend."

All the men in the room gave her a look. "And if he breaks her heart?" Tony suggested, an eyebrow raised.

"I will hunt him down and make sure no one ever finds the body," she replied, her tone deceptively casual.

Gibbs smiled. "Good to know you're on our side, Ziver," he teased.

More speculation occurred. Abby, who was the only one who had met this mysterious British boyfriend, tried to convince them they'd like Harry. Tony and Ziva were both very interested in the fact his parents had both worked for the DMLE. Tony had dealt with them once in a case in Baltimore. There had been virtually no evidence, no cause of death, but they had swept in and solved the crime before anyone could even blink. Ziva had heard of them through her Mossad work, and so little was known about them that there was an alert on the name in any Mossad file that mentioned it so it could be reviewed by the director. Ducky speculated on where the boy had gone to school, having grown up in the same area. McGee was currently trying to hack the British Embassy to find out information about Harry. The team was so absorbed in what they were doing that they missed Kelly standing in the living room hallway, a handsome man standing next to her smiling.

"Busy?" she teased, twirling her hair with her fingers. Everyone froze in place like a little kid caught stealing a cookie. Harry just laughed to himself before turning to McGee.

"You won't find much about me in the main database," he told the hacker nonchalantly. "I'm flattered by the effort though."

Gibbs stood up, eyeing this man suspiciously. Harry stood tall, not at all intimidated by the former Gunnery Sergeant. "Daddy, this is my boyfriend, Lt. Harry Potter," Kelly introduced hesitantly.

Harry offered a hand to shake, which Gibbs did rather firmly. The handshake hurt a bit, but Harry didn't let it show. "Nice to meet you, sir," he said politely.

Gibbs only gave him a look. Sensing an awkward moment coming, Jenny appeared. She smiled at Harry, giving her husband a subtle 'Be nice' look. "You must be Harry. It's so nice to finally meet you. I'm glad you were able to join us for dinner."

Harry smiled charmingly, causing both Brenna and Abby to swoon a little bit. "Thank you for the invitation, ma'am." He pulled a bottle out of the bag he was holding, handing it to Jenny. She read the label. It was a very nice, very expensive bottle of French Bordeaux, exactly the kind she liked. As if reading her mind, Harry said, "My sister-in-law's family has a vineyard in France. When I told her I was coming here, she insisted I bring you a bottle." He chuckled. "Fleur is rather stubborn when she wants to be."

Jenny laughed. "Sounds like a smart woman to me," she quipped. "Thank you so much. This will go wonderfully with dinner."

Gibbs and the men of the team internally groaned. Jenny and Abby were both already under this guy's spell. Dinner was served, and as the meal went on it became harder and harder to not like Harry. Ducky immediately launched into an inquisition of Harry's schooling, and it was soon discovered that Harry had attended many of the same schools Ducky had as a lad. Brenna and Abby seemed to be hypnotized just by Harry's accent, much to McGee and Palmer's mutual displeasure. Harry was a great storyteller and an excellent conversationalist. He regaled them with stories of his crazy family: his troublemaking little sisters, his little brother's painful crush, and his older sister's crazy matchmaking schemes for their brother. Even Gibbs was laughing by the end of one of the stories.

Once coffee and dessert had been served, the group dispersed into different sections of the house. Kelly kissed her boyfriend's cheek gently before going to go help with the dishes. Making sure his sidearm was in place, Gibbs motioned with his head for Harry to follow him into the basement. It was interrogation time. His team would probably do this also, but as Kelly's father he had some rights. Like the rights to shot any boyfriend of his daughter he didn't approve of…

chipmunk1964: Thanks! I just thought that it was a very Gibbs thing to do, you know? And maybe Gibbs and Harry will go to the shooting range. If not, references to Gibbs being a sniper will definitely be mentioned once or twice.

vanarian: Of course they will interrogate him! They will just be at the dinner table, not in the interrogation room.

Flying Chrissy: Gibbs lighten up? That would be like Abby successfully giving up Caf-Pow!

mrs. phelps12: Thanks! I kind of just thought to myself, "What's a really geeky topic that Palmer and McGee could fight about?", and robotic dogs is what came to mind. I hope the family tree is helpful!

jabarber69: Thanks! I knew from that start that I didn't want Harry to have magic because I needed a good reason for him to be in the British Royal Marines, but I also didn't want him to be a squip in a traditional sense of the word. A virus was the best I could do. I figured if some people could lose their hearing or sight from certain infections, losing magic wouldn't be too far-fetched if not rare in the Wizarding world.

Beloved Daughter: Don't worry! I am planning for Harry's family to meet Kelly soon. It will definitely be overwhelming for her because she is used to a smaller family and is an only child.

Avid Reader0907: Hmm, credit card! I like that. I was thinking ponytail holder, but credit card sounds interesting too…
