Me: Well we're back, after almost two months; but we have our reasons I swear! The time between this and last chapter have been crazy busy for us. We had writers block, got Skyrim and New Vegas for the computer so I went crazy with the mods for a while, I got sick and was stuck in bed, then we had to take classes to be ready for the GED, my birthday came and went, we just got back from camping two days ago, and just today we actually scheduled the date of our tests.

Maya: Plus Zorua has writers block.

Me: Yeah guys fact is I have a ton of ideas for which way this story is going to head, but the parts in between are not coming to me; that's why this chapter is shorter than the others. Fear not though for I have an idea on how to fix this and it involves you amazing readers; and I'll even give you guys a couple options on how to do this. The first thing, fan art; if you could draw me some that'd be great to help me come up with some ideas, and if I think it's the most amazing thing I will pm the artist and ask to use it as the cover art. The second thing, if someone was to take the challenge themselves; I'll read it, and that'll give me some ideas. Number three I have an idea for two OCS with my own original bloodline; I need help refining the bloodline itself. That's about it, if you could find it in your heart to help I'll be eternally grateful and will make sure that if it ever takes this long again I'll make sure to have a longer chapter for you guys.

Maya: To that anonymous reviewer last chapter, we don't have any plans with Anko this story after the chunin exams, as Zorua has only ever seen up to the retrieval arc.

Me: Guys, I just had a two month Hiatus there's no way I can be the owner of Naruto.

It had been nearly three hours since the other senseis had come and picked up their students; the newly formed team seven, were the only ones still in the classroom. As time went on Naruto was getting more and more annoyed; the dark energy he had been giving out had been increasing, slowly beginning to overwhelm his two teammates. His mind was thick with plots for making the person, who dare waste his time; killing him wouldn't solve anything seeing as they would still need a teacher, so he would have to wait and find out more about him.

Sakura had spent her time waiting, switching from swooning over her crush and eyeing the boy who had apparently killed both of their old senseis the night before. Though Inner-Sakura was rather vocal on how cute Naruto looked, sitting in the corner by himself; the pink haired girl shook off these thoughts, reminding herself that she liked Sasuke. Still something about the blonde boy did seem more attractive, but nowhere close to Sasuke.

The last loyal Uchiha was thinking over the blonde's and the outcast Hyugga's outburst against the replacement chunin; Sasuke may not have paid much attention to anything that didn't give attention to his gloriousness, but even he remembered his father's warnings against his new teammate. This was something that bugged him, Naruto held a secret; and as the last of the elite Uchiha clan, he had a right to know what it was. He would go to the council for answers after he met with his new teacher. Seemingly as if the gods had herd him, a silver haired scarecrow of a man poked his head in the door.

Looking at the three, he stated his opinion on his new charges, "My first impression of you three… you won't survive long out on the field. Meet me on the roof in five minutes."

Naruto let out a snort at the hypocrisy of the jonin; he would find a way to get back at this man, and he would make sure it was painful. Getting up he followed his two teammates out the door, he frowned at having to call them teammates; to him they could actually work together, they were more tools to help him move forward in his and Hinata's plans to make the village pay for what they had done. Maybe he could twist their minds to help them, what better way to hurt the village then to make their precious Uchiha help in their destruction; not like it would be all that hard as he was a power hungry avenger and if he got Sasuke then his pink haired fangirl would follow, like a trained dog. Opening the door to the roof he pushed these thoughts aside for later.

The silver haired Jonin motioned for them to sit; waiting for them to do so until he started to speak, "Alright why don't you introduce yourselves?"

"Would you go first sensei so we can see how it's done?" Sakura asked, looking up at the man her green eyes sparkling in the rays of the sun. The silver haired scarecrow stood there for a minute, seemingly deep in thought.

"I guess I could, I'm Hatake Kakashi a Jonin of Konoha; my likes are… well I'm not going to tell you; my dislikes… I also won't tell you; my dreams for the future… well I think you're a little young to hear it. Alright Blondie you're up."

"I'm Uzamaki Naruto, I am the jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi no Kitusune and the closest thing this village has to the real thing; I like Hinata-chan and Hokage-jiji and the power that the fox gives me; I dislike the villagers and anyone who can't tell the jail from the jailor. As of this moment my only dream is to see the next morning and protect Hinata," Naruto with a tone of someone commenting on the weather. Kakashi's visible eye widened at how easily he through his secrete for others to know; and at the comment of being like the fox, he needed to say something before the other two got the wrong idea.

"Naruto you're nothing like the fox…"

"You're right I'm worse, not even Kyuubi would kill someone who he cared about all because of somebody else's word. Nothing you say will change that, so let's just move on; who's next?" Naruto asked his strained and chocked. Sasuke looked at his blonde teammate with a calculating eye; this idiot could help him in his quest to kill his brother, he just needed to find a bargaining chip.

Kakashi stood there for a moment thinking over his options; he could try to convince the boy otherwise but it was getting late and he wanted to go pick up that new Icha Icha book. Shrugging he told himself he'd just stop by the Hokage and talk to him about it; looking up he points to the last Uchiha; without missing a beat the raven haired teen began his introduction, "I'm Uchiha Sasuke, I don't really have any likes or dislikes. My dream, well it's more of an ambition to kill a certain man."

Sighing the silver haired Jonin turned to the final member of his new team, silently preparing himself for the worst; he pointed to Sakura and listened to her introduction, "I'm Haruno Sakura; my likes are," she glanced at Sasuke and giggled, "My dislikes are…" she paused here and seemed to fight with herself for several seconds before responding, "N-Naruto and Hinata. My dream for the future is," again she glanced at the avenger and giggled.

Kakashi looked at his three charges, cursing his luck; of course he would get the abused outcast, the Avenger, and the fangirl. If Iruka was still around he'd hit him, though if the Chunin was still here the outcast would be easier to deal with. "Alright you three meet me at training ground three tomorrow for your final test…"

"But sensei we're genin already aren't we?" Sakura asked tilting her head to the side, asking herself what this supposed final test was needed for.

Kakashi sighed, looking at his three charges; knowing that they weren't going to take what he had to say next well, "No you see the test you took at the academy was only to see if you had the potential to be ninja; this test will decide if you three become ninja's. The rate of success for it is thirty-three percent, oh and don't eat anything otherwise you'll just throw up."

With that he left in a swirl of leaves, the three teenagers got up and left without saying a word to each other; two of them thinking of their blonde teammate and the power he could use or the danger presented, Naruto just wanted to get home and be with Hinata.

(With Sakura)

She chased after Sasuke, wanting to ask him to walk her home; but he blew her off before she could say a word. Dejected she turned towards her home, slightly hurt by Sasuke ignoring her, but still looking towards being on the same team as her crush. Though she couldn't get their other teammate out of her head, questions seemed to fill her head. 'What will happen if we get in his way; will he kill us like he did Iruka-Sensei? Why were we not told about what he contained? When did he become so hot? Where in the hell did that last thought come from?' A light giggle in the back of her mind revealed that Inner-Sakura still was trying to convince her to go out with Naruto.

She pushed the thought to the very back of her mind; with an annoyed reminder that she loved Sasuke, though she had to admit that there was something very attractive about this new Naruto. She had been so engaged in her thoughts she hadn't realized that she was home. Maybe her mom could shed some light on why nobody had told her or her classmates were never told about what the blonde had contained; she was the head of the Civilian Council after all. Opening the door she found her mother in the living room looking up towards the door with a look of expectancy; before the young Kunochi could ask one of the many questions she had her mom interrupted with, "So, who did they put you with?"

Sakura was slightly worried about her mom's reaction to being paired up with Naruto, she had never liked the boy; and had often warned her to stay away from him, but now she understood why and the reason behind it was stupid not that she'd ever tell her mom that. Taking a deep breath she began, "Uchiha Sasuke, and Uzamaki Naruto."

Haruno Sakiri's face went from happy and ecstatic that her daughter had a chance at gaining the Uchiha, a dream they both had shared, to anger and worry at the thought of her daughter being on the demon brat's team. 'After all that happened last night they still let him become a ninja; after everything he did last night? The rest of the council will be hearing of this,' the elder Haruno mentally ranted; sitting back in her chair for a long discussion on why her daughter should never let the blonde Uzamaki out of her sight on a mission, though that plan was blown away by a simple question.

"Why were we never told about what Naruto contained?" Sakura asked tilting her head to the side; Mrs. Haruno froze, unsure of what to say; if she talked would she be subject to the law? 'No, some idiot already revealed the secret to her; I can talk freely now,' she decided looking at her rather angry daughter.

"Well honeys, Hokage-Sama forbid any of us from telling anyone who didn't already know; he was trying to get you guys to be friends with the demon. Can you believe that; he wanted the thing that killed so many of our ninja twelve years ago, to have friends," Sakura just listened to her mother's rant taking it all in; appalled that she was related to one of the reasons that her teammate was so cold. She may not have liked the boy, that doesn't mean she thought he deserved the treatment he was given; because my dear readers Sakura, believe it or not, could tell the difference between a scroll and the kunai sealed within. Though she didn't know how bad Naruto's life had actually been, she assumed it was the closest thing anyone could experience to what Sasuke went through… ladies and gentlemen she knows the difference between scroll and kunai; but not that what Sasuke went through wasn't the worst that could happen to someone. The pink haired Genin stood there the door still wide open, not moving a muscle; unsure of what to say to her mother.

(With Naruto)

As the blonde ninja reached his apartment the sun was setting just behind him; painting the world in its pinkish golden light. Naruto however could care less about the setting sun, he was tired today had been long and his teammates got on his nerves; and if he killed them the council could have him executed. Shaking off his anger he pushed open the door; the cool air of his small apartment washing over his body. Entering the small space he called a living room; he quickly caught sight of Hinata, who looked as frustrated as he felt, "Everything alright Hinata-chan?"

"Yeah, just something that happened while my team met with our Sensei," she sighed the tension not leaving her body. Kyuubi noticed this and prodded his jailor to push for more info, on what happened to his mate. Naruto grumped that he was going to anyway, taking a deep breath to calm the growing rage he once more felt towards the rest of the village he asked.

"Want to talk about it," she shook her head; someone had really pissed her off if she was refusing to tell him. Which meant someone in the village was going get a painful reminder of why no one messed with them, "Come on Hime, if someone is doing something you should tell me so I can deal with it."

"No Naruto, I'm dealing with this annoyance; the Inzuka mutt needs to realize I'm no one's bitch least of all his," she hissed her eyes narrowing; Naruto put his arms up, he hadn't seen her this pissed in quite a while, she had even dropped the kun from his name. Kiba was in for a world of hurt sometime soon; and the blonde demon container pitied him slightly.

"What did Kiba do to piss you off so bad?" Naruto knew that asking her again was a little like playing with an unstable exploding seal; but if he was being honest with himself he wanted to know what the idiot did. The cool apartment seemed to drop a few degrees in temperature, killing intent rolling out of Hinata in waves. The pale eyed girl took a deep breath before beginning to tell her tale.

(Flashback)

Hinata and her teammates had just finished the real Genin exam it had been no small task; the Inzuka heir refused to believe that a test that pitted them against each other, could possibly be about teamwork. Though in the end Shino saying he'd give his bell to Kiba had changed his tune and in the end they had passed. Kurenai had just told them to meet at the same training ground, at seven and left; Hinata decided that might be the best idea and turned to leave.

Kiba called out to her before she could go through; turning around she kept her gaze towards the ground unsure of what the boy in front of her wanted. Somewhere in the back of her mind, a place that Hinata hadn't fully thought about, the true Hinata was ranting, 'What the fuck does the mutt want; I swear to Kami if he tries hitting on me…'

"Hey Hinata want to go get some dinner with me?" Kiba asked his voice cocky, like he had just done something amazing. Shino shook his head, knowing how bad of an idea it was to try what his teammate had done; Hinata was with Naruto everyone knew that, everyone also knew never to try and take something from him, like his girlfriend.

"Ano Kiba, I-I don't l-like you like t-that," Hinata stuttered keeping her head down to hide the look of absolute revolution off her face. She had hoped that he would leave it at that, but his hard headedness astounded her with his next words.

"Why because you 'love' Naruto; you should leave that dobe and let me mark you as my mate, it would be a step up from that loser." The ex-Hyugga's mask had already started slipping from the beginning of the conversation; that last comment shattered it, clenching her fist in an attempt to not kill the Inzuka heir. She spun around and booked it into the forest so she wouldn't do something she regretted later.

(End Flashback)

"When I get my hands on that little punk I'm going to, kill him! No one hits on my mate and gets away with it," Naruto growled out, his nails digging deep enough into his hand to draw blood. Hinata just shook her head, looking at him with cold eyes.

"No Naruto-kun, I'll deal with him; let's just make dinner and go to bed," she said sternly, the blonde genin nodded gulping. He wasn't stupid enough to get on his mates bad side.

That night two of the three potential Genin slept easily not worrying about their upcoming test; for the only girl of the three it was a long sleepless night, stressing about Naruto dragging her and her precious Sasuke down.

Me: I will get to the bell test next chapter I swear, I just felt bad about the amount of time it took to write this chapter.

Maya: Also don't expect much with Sasuke in the way of character development until the wave arc.

Me: That's right, until then expect the arrogant sob that we all know and hate. On a final note; one of my favorite stories: My Parents Are Konoha Shinobi was taken down recently; because of a group of people who have way to much free time on their hands decided that they didn't like it.

Maya: So unofficial mods?

Me: No unofficial mods will tell you that you're story broke a rule and which one it was; these people claim they broke a rule and not explain what you did wrong, and when you try to talk to them about it their asses about it.

Maya: How do you know that they act like that? You didn't talk to them did you?

Me: No put I have seen the conversation that devilknight had with them. Sorry about the rant guys it's just stuff like that really piss me off because I've had stories taken down myself and it sucks. Until next time!
