Lauren had to use a sedative on the creature before being able to even start administering any medical attention as it was moving too much. It was clearly passed out but it seemed it was aware of her working on it.
"Where do I take you?" She murmured once done. Moving it was enough of a task as it but the bigger question was where. She couldn't possibly keep it here as she had to call in the black alien and they would canvas her entire house regardless of the crime scene location being in her bedroom.
'Think, think, think!" She scolded herself mentally, running through every possibility that came into her head. With a sigh she put her forehead to her palms and tried to wait for that 'eureka' moment people always bragged about, eventually sitting down on the bed.
Lauren sat like that for what felt like hours and yet she still had no solution. She had to call in the other creature soon as it would be the first specimen found to her knowledge. She looked towards the humanoid and sighed. Perhaps she would just give it up as well, there was not much point in making it her problem.
"No," she said aloud. "It could be the only thing here to defend us from whatever the hell that was."
She looked towards the humanoid and with another sigh she got up and looked at the duvet on the ground, soaked in whatever this creatures blood was made of. She started to roll him onto it. Her only option was hiding him in her van and parking it quite a bit from her home until she found somewhere to take it - perhaps even back to her own place once the dust settled.
She had the van and then her own car, so seeing only one car on the lot wouldn't be too suspicious to others she hoped.
"Come big guy…" She muttered as she attempted to drag it onto the bedding. "Are you even a guy though?" She questioned, the built of this creature was mainly that of a male and yet she wasn't sure.
'Male it is I guess.' She thought as she had him rolled onto the duvet and started to drag it towards the backdoor to get to the van.

Lauren had gotten him into the van with great hassle and had decided to give him a fairly large dose of sedatives in order to ensure he was unconscious while she called in the crime scene.
After driving a few blocks over she made her way back towards her apartment and upon arriving she immediately went to her room and assessed the place.
The black creature was still sprawled across her carpet, dead as doornail. She could see small droplets of its blood dripping onto her carpet still. She turned her attention towards the bright green blood of the humanoid and immediately got an idea of how to cover it up.
She grabbed the black creature and began dragging it towards the place the humanoid lay moments earlier. When it lay in roughly the same position she took her gun and held it against the metallic black skin of the creature.
She gave one shot and a moment later the acidic blood poured out and all over the spot the humanoids blood had been. She watched with satisfaction as it burned away whatever evidence there was. She was half pleased to see their blood didn't stall quite the same way as a humans when they died.
After a few seconds she heard loud knocking at the front door, she stood frozen for a second before a voice boomed from the front door.
"THIS IS THE POLICE, OPEN THE DOOR!" The person yelled and Lauren felt like a child being caught stealing candy, did they know?
"No...they can't...wait!" She yelled to herself as she ran towards the front door. They must've heard the gunshots.
She flung open the front door, shocking the officer and she was actually relieved he didn't shoot her out of shock. "Help! There's a creature in my room, I shot it and I think it's dead!" She yelled frantically - realizing only half of her panic was non-genuine. She hadn't had a chance to process everything she'd seen.
The officer gestured for his partner to follow as he entered. Lauren wordlessly directed them towards her bedroom and followed idly behind.
As she expected, when the officers entered the room they let out an audible gasp at the thing lying on her carpet, still oozing blood from the last gunshot.
She listened as they called in backup and forensics and she did her best to pretend it was only creature she had seen and recount the attack while excluding the humanoid. Hoping to whatever God would listen that the humanoid in the back of her van would not wake up or die while she was occupied by the questioning.
It wasn't long before men arrived from a company she had never heard of, Weyland Industries, and they mercilessly questioned her to the extent that she felt sure they knew there had been another creature.
But how could they know?
