(A/N: Thanks to LM Raven for help on formatting lines I can finally break up my stanzas rather then everything ending up in one lump. Looks much better!)
This one is written for that one sad, sad moment in Crystal when Kunzite and Venus look into each other's eyes, finally remembering if only for an instant.
Forgotten Languages
Teach me again the language of our love.
My tongue has forgotten the shape of the words.
My ear has forgotten the soft sound of your voice.
Teach me all the words we had,
for the feelings inside our hearts
and the conjunctions that tied us together.
Show me how to craft the sentences that speak volumes
subject, verb, object
caresses, gazes, loving embraces
Your blue eyes speak volumes to me,
but I've forgotten how to read them.
The words are lost to oblivion.
Teach me again, the language of our love.
word by word, like a child anew
so that I can speak my love to you.
