_´Who's the chick?´ Gemma asked, as she eyed the woman across the lot. Tig shrugged,

_´She's the girl that, bumped into the truck. Hap's fixing up her car, think he's feeling guilty.´

Tig was sitting with Gemma in the office, watching over her as he always did.

_´Happy's feeling guilty?, that's very uncharacteristic.´

_´Ya telling me? Think he might have a sweet spot for the bird.´ Gemma gave him a look.

_´This is Hap were talking about, I think you just might be confused.´

_´Nah, she been here a few times. That car was an easy fix, he's dragging it out on purpose.´ Gemma watched, as the girl actually had a conversation with Happy. He was answering in full in full sentences, and she had seen him smile more than once.

_´You know what Tiggy, I think you might be right.´

_´I told ya so.´

_´What are you now, psychic?´ She sighed _´Where's lil Lil.´

_At her place, said she was gonna try cooking...´

_´Really? Grab my purse Tiggy, we're gonna go pay your little girl a visit.´

_´Here, all done.´ Happy said, as he handed Erin the keys.

_´Thanks.´ She said with a smile, Happy smiled back. Shit! What's happening to me? He thought to himself. The first time he saw the woman enter through the lot gates, he thought she was attractive. At first he thought she might have been, a little to the too small side. But he had began to like her size, and the fact that she was a class act. She had told him she was a writer, a journalist. That she had ended up in the town by chance, and she probably would be there for a while. She always seemed to have a smart comeback for anything, he liked that she was smart.

He watched her drive off, then lit one up. As he felt the smoke ease his insides, he sensed someone approach him from behind.

_´What was that 'bout?´ Chibs asked, Happy shrugged.

_´Nothing.´

_´Uhuh...´

_´It's nothing!´ he chocked, in his raspy voice.

…...

Erin heard her phone ring, she picked it up, and saw the caller ID.

_´Hi´

_´Hey, can I ask ya something.´

_´Yeah, sure Happy.´

_´What you doin' Friday night?´

_´Nothing...´ she answered, and he stalled...

_´Look...I,´

_´What is it ?´

_´Ya think you might wanna, come to the clubhouse ?´

_´Why whats happening?´

_´party, small gathering.´

_´Yeah?´

_´Yeah.´

_´Sure, when do u want me ?´ Oh, she has no idea... Happy thought.

_´Bout nine´

_´Ok, I'll be there.´

_´Alright.´ Then he hung up.

Erin stood at the gate of the TM, she was nervous. She wasn't scared ,just nervous. Okay maybe a little scared. What had she gotten herself into? The man was a biker, a living breathing outlaw. This was fucked up. She took a deep breath and stepped inside. After being escorted into the main building, she felt a hand on her shoulder. It was Happy, he was smiling wide. "How you doing darlin'" he said calmly, she smiled got her a drink , and introduced her to some people. He was surprisingly...gentle? The way he held slightly onto her arm or shoulder, the tone in which he spoke to her. He was so calm, something which she didn't really expect.

There was some sort of argument going on behind them, Erin turned around and saw it was that guy, called "Kozik " that Happy had introduced her to before. He had just gotten punched buy a guy in his late forties, he had dark curly hair, and psycho blue looked around himself, he really wasn't up for this drama now. He placed his hand on Erin's waist, and guided her into the corridor. The music from the main room was dying down, as they made their way around the collection of bodies that were participating in unspeakable things. Well in Happy's world they were not unspeakable, but he wasn't really sure about what Erin was thinking about all of it. He opened the door behind him, leading her into her room. He then sat her down on his bed, and walked towards the door. "stay put , I'll be back soon." she looked behind him confused as he left the room and closed the door behind him.

Erin felt a little ill, it was kinda like the feeling she had the first time she went to a club. It was pure, untainted, social anxiety. She didn't know this, guy with a weird name, so well. She was a bit scared, she also didn't know why Happy had left her alone, she wondered what he was doing. As she kept thinking, she kept coming up with worse scenarios. She eventually gave up contemplating, and began to look around the dark room, she was being held hostage in. There was barely any furniture, and there were lewd posters around her, it made her feel even more uncomfortable.

Fifteen minuets later he returned, he opened the window next to the bed, lighting a cigarette he sighed. "It's getting pretty-" he was cutoff by a knock on the door. "Hap ... Hap!" a female voice yelled from the other side. Happy sighed again, "Some things gone wrong" he grumbled, "I need to go. Is that okay? " he added. Erin nodded, Happy got up, he looked at her for a second, then he squeezed her shoulder. She watched him as he walked out the door.

Erin could hear noises around her. No , it was one noise. It was the sound of heavy breathing. She opened her eyes, she had fallen asleep on the bed while waiting for Happy. She looked for the source of the noise, and then she found it. Happy was spread out on the couch, laying on his front, fast asleep. She then fell asleep again.

Once she woke up , she saw Happy sitting at the foot of the bed, smoking. "Morning" she moaned as she sat up. "Yeah, Coffee?" He asked, acknowledging her existence. "Yeah ,sure" she answered, He half smiled "Alright, get ready 'n we'll get breakfast." . Erin looked around the room, "bathrooms, on the other end on the hall" Happy mumbled and she getting cleaned up, Happy led her to the main room. There were a few club members there ,sitting around. A hand full of the girls from night before, were accompanying them, it all seemed very mellow.

Happy walked up to the bar, and sat on a stool, he then had Erin sit next to him. There was a young overweight guy, with curly hair and glasses serving coffee. "Morning Hap" he greeted Happy cheerfully, then smiled at Erin. There was noise coming from the kitchen, a Scottish accent , and the voice of a young woman. "I'm looking Chibs, but they're not there" the young woman said. " The fuck you mean they're not there Lil , look harder." the Scottish voice answered. "I can't find your goddamn coco-pops, and I'm about to fall of the fucking stool Chibs!" the girls voice answered him back. Happy looked up from the coffee, that the guy behind the bar had served him. "Here! It was behind the lucky charms." the girls voice said again. The Scottish man laughed, then walked out of the kitchen , bowl of coco-pops in hand.

He walked over to Happy, "Morning, brotha" he said as he slapped him on the shoulder . He then , sat on the stool on the other side of , nodded in response. Then a laud sound came from the kitchen, the sound of someone falling of a stool. Happy's head snapped to the side "I'm alright! " the girl yelled from the kitchen.

Erin took a sip of her coffee, this all seemed very strange. The girl walked out of the kitchen, her appearance was somewhat ghostly. Translucent alabaster skin, and dark blue eyes. She was wearing an old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles t-shirt, and a pair of grey leggings. The t-shirt was a size too large, and her face was bare, other than the slight remnants of dark eye make up around her eyes. Her hair was a washed-out blue color, wavy with little curls here and there done up in a messy bun. She had some tattoos visible on her upper arms, but nothing that Erin could make girl looked so young and out of place in here, compared to the way the other girls were dressed and looked. Erin guessed that she looked quite out of place, then she noticed the girl was looking at her. Happy noticed, and grumbled something again. The girl smiled, as she looked between Erin and Happy. "Who is she ?" the girl asked Happy smiling. Happy waited a second , "oooh her, ,alright." the girl said, seemingly remembering who Erin was . Happy looked at Erin , " Erin this is Wings, or Lil...or whatever you wanna call her." he said .

Wings smiled at Erin , "Nice to meet you " she said as she turned around, and commenced to make herself a coffee. The guy the bar looked at Wings confused "I can do that-" Wings shrugged him off. "Nah , I'm alright, there is a chance of you poisoning me after last night." Wings answered, as she added three spoons of sugar to her coffee, Happy looked at her , disgusted buy the amount of sugar she commenced to dump in her cup. "The fucks wrongs with you?" he asked, she smiled at him "lotsa things " she answered.

Erin sat at her computer, she had just been dropped off at her house, by the young girl she had met that morning. She had researched outlaw biker clubs, but she had no idea about the standing of gender roles in them. She had seen a large amount of scantily clad girls last night, and a few older women, they all seemed to be at least somewhat submissive to the members. But the girl she had met that morning was different. She looked as if she didn't belong in the smoke filled club house, but rather in a indie music bar. She also looked far too young, compared to the middle aged members she looked like a teenagers.

Women in outlaw biker clubs, she typed into Google, and a wikipedia article popped up. She clicked on it, then began reading,

Most outlaw motorcycle clubs do not allow women to become full-patch , in some 1%er clubs, women have in the past been portrayed as submissive or victims to the men, treated as property, forced into prostitution or street-level drug trafficking, and often physically and sexually abused, their roles as being those of obedient followers and their status as objects. These women are claimed to pass over any pay they receive to their partners or sometimes to the entire appears to make these groups extremely gender segregated, however, this has not always been the case as, for example, during the 1950s and 60s some Hells Angels chapters had women members.

"The hell?" Erin said, as she couldn't really grasp what she had just read. That girl...Lil, Lilith,Wings... Whatever she was called. She was wearing a kutte, when she was dropping Erin off at her house. She was so confused now.

Erin's phone rang, it was 5am. She groaned and answered it.

"Uhuh" she mumbled, and Happy's raspy voice answered her.

"Hey doll, I just got some news. I can't pick you up tonight. "

"Why?" She asked bluntly. Happy smiled from the other end of the phone.

"Top secret" he answered

"Kay" Erin managed to say, then the line went dead.

"The fuck? Did he just hang up on me? He stood me up and hung up on me... Shit." A minuet passed, Erin sighed. "This is why I don't date... Men... God damn men. Squeezing themselves into my life, then fucking it up by upsetting me." She took a minute to think "Im really selfish..." she sighed.
