Magnetic
I do not own Inuyasha
A/N: Update 05-05-15 * 07-28-15 * 11-8-15 * 11-26-15
I made some of my own changes to certain things from the series so I hope you like it!
A/N: I just wanted to thank all of you guys for sticking with Magnetic through all the re-writes and very long updates! I will try to at least update once a month maybe twice if I can!
I really do love hearing from all of you guys! Your inputs help me try and fix the story to make it better!
But I just wanted to clarify for a guest reviewer:
I don't dislike Inuyasha or Kikyo and I really am trying not to be impartial or childish, so I hope that Magnetic doesn't come across as that, but I feel if a family member or a good friend did something like what Kikyo did to Kagome, you would understand where Kagome is coming from with her mixed emotions towards Inuyasha and Kikyo.
But! On to the next chapter!
Chapter Two
At Shikon High
Inuyasha, where are you, you filthy bastard?" Sango yelled as she made her way through the crowded hall of Shikon High. Many students began to quickly move out of her way, or were trying to at least.
"When I find you Inuyasha, you'll be sorry! I'll make sure of that!" Her long dark brown hair swayed side to side in the high pony tail she had it in.
The look in her eye warned off the students around her. You just don't mess with an angry demon slayer.
"Sango, my dear just calm down, we really don't know what happened between Kagome and Inuyasha and if that was the reason Kagome left school early." Miroku said as he tried to keep up with the angry women in front of him.
"Right now would not be a good time to grab Sango, unless I don't want to keep my hand any longer." The monk thought to himself as he watched Sango's hip sway back and forth in her demi jeans.
"Where are you Inuyasha!?" The young women shouted as she turned down a hallway trying to find the half demon that hurt her friend.
"Sango," Miroku said as he caught up beside her.
"Maybe Inuyasha's not here. What if he already left the school?" The blacked haired man said in a light ton trying not to make the slayer beside him more so then she already was.
"I know he's here Miroku! I just need to find him!"
"But how do you know Sango? How do we even know that Inuyasha was the one to make Kagome cry?! We don't." Miroku replied thinking logically about the situation.
Sango stopped in her tracks and turned around to look at the man besides her. "Have you heard half of the crap that's been said already? Do you know how many people saw Inuyasha with Kikyo?"
Sango continued before Miroku could retort "Why else would Kagome cry? Don't you think Kagome seeing Inuyasha with her own sister would be a good reason?" Sango knew that Miroku wouldn't say anything.
Out of the corner of her eye she caught a glimpse of white hair going into the boy's room. Sango began to follow him, she knew she would find Inuyasha at the school still.
Miroku looked nervous as they got closer to the men's bathroom. "Sango my dear why are we in front of the men's bathroom?" The Monk saw Inuyasha go in there, he was hoping that Sango didn't.
"Inuyasha's in there Miroku, and you know that. So you can go in there or I can."
"I shall go in there my dear." Miroku said as he opened the door and entered, leaving Sango by herself.
With Inuyasha
Walking into the bathroom, Inuyasha walked up to the middle sink and looked at himself in the mirror.
White hair, gold eyes, he looked like himself but didn't feel like himself.
Shrugging his bag off his shoulder the half demon watched as it hit the floor with a thud.
The look on her face made his chest clench.
Kagome wasn't supposed to find out about Kikyo and himself until he was sure that Kikyo wanted to be with him, he didn't want to be left without.
Inuyasha knew he should have been more cautious when he saw the smirk on Kikyo's face when she walked up to him earlier. But the way she moved her body, he couldn't focus on what his brain was trying to tell him.
Turning on the sink faucet, Inuyasha cupped his hands together and splashed cold water onto his face, grabbing a handful of paper towels he dried his face off.
Closing his eyes he recalled what happen earlier today.
Earlier that day
Beep, beep, beep!
"Agh, why does there have to be school today?" Inuyasha muttered as he reached over to his night stand to hit the blaring alarm clock.
Growling as he lifted his comforter off of his head, Inuyasha stared at his white plastered ceiling for 5 minutes before sitting up and turning himself to the side of his bed so he could place his feet on the carpeted floor.
Scratching his head before stretching, to waking him up fully.
Looking on his nightstand the Hanyou grabbed his cell phone; taking a glance at the time, 6:07 AM.
Flipping open his phone Inuyasha saw that he had three new text messages. Kagome had texted him twice and Kikyo had texted him once. Clicking on Kikyo's message he ignored Kagome's.
To: 652-3221
From: 726-5592
Morning, I hope you're coming to school today, so we can talk about what we were discussing last night.
Smiling to himself Inuyasha quickly replied.
To: 726-5592
From: 652-3221
Morning, I'll be there. I can't wait to see you.
Going to check his other text messages which were from Kagome, Inuyasha just skimmed through them without replying.
To: 652-3221
From: 726-5562
Morning Yasha!
He didn't know how many times he told Kagome that he hated that nick name but she still insisted to call him it.
To: 652-3221
From: 726-5562
Inuyasha WAKE UP! I hope you're coming to school today! I didn't get to see you or talk to you at all yesterday.
I miss you.
Snorting Inuyasha thought to himself he closed his phone. Did Kagome really think that using caps would make him wake up?
He did feel a little guilty for not calling her yesterday, but he had been busy talking to Kikyo for half the night and by the time they got off the phone he already knew Kagome would be asleep.
He didn't want to wake her.
Standing up from his bed, Inuyasha stretched once more. Pushing his bangs out of his face he began walking to his bedroom door to go to the bathroom.
Throwing his phone onto the bed the silver haired teen walked out his door.
Present
Inuyasha didn't know that Kikyo was going to kiss him, hell it had been a surprise to him. He thought that Kikyo had just wanted to talk to him about breaking up with her sister.
That's what they had talked about last night.
The half demon just didn't want to throw away anything he had with Kagome unless he knew for sure that Kikyo wanted him. He didn't want her to change her mind.
He knew he had something good with Kagome, she was the closest thing he had to a best friend. He didn't want to lose that if he didn't need to.
He always had fun with the young Miko he just didn't love her the way she loved him. Inuyasha thought about what Kikyo had said to him that night.
"Inuyasha are you listening to me?" Kikyo asked over the phone
"Yea, yea, yea I'm listening to you." He replied as he flipped through the magazine in his free hand.
"Then what did I just ask you?"
"Something about going to school, or something along those lines," Flipping to the next page in the magazine, Inuyasha waited for her reply.
"Something along those lines? Inuyasha I want to make sure that you are coming to school so that I can see you. Don't you want to see me?"
Putting the magazine down, the half demon spoke. "You know that I want to see you Kikyo, heck if I could I would come see you right now!"
"You know you can't Inuyasha, not until you break up with Kagome."
"I will break up with her Kikyo, I'd do anything you tell me to, and you know that! But I want to make sure that you want to be with me!"
"Of course I want to be with you Inuyasha, you should know that." Kikyo spoke, her voice soft.
"I just want you to show me Kikyo, I want you to show me that you really want to be with me."
"You want me to show you? Fine I'll show you."
Heck since he started dating Kagome, Kikyo seemed to notice him more. Inuyasha like the attention from both of the sisters, every corner he turned he was getting secret love notes from one sister, then tender kisses and hugs from the other one.
When he first met Kagome, he wanted nothing to do with her. She looked so much like Kikyo that he couldn't take it.
When Inuyasha first started to talk to Kagome, he was only doing to get back at Kikyo for the way she treated him, he would hurt Kagome to hurt Kikyo.
That was his plan from the start when he figured out who Kagome was, use her to make Kikyo jealous. It had worked too.
But after a while he got to know who she was. She was nothing like Kikyo and she never would be. Kagome was an open book to everyone, while Kikyo was always closed off.
Kagome had brought some joy into his life. Not caring that he was neither a full human, nor a full demon, she didn't care that he was different.
She made him embrace it after a while.

Inuyasha was shocked when Kikyo cornered him one day in the empty halls, angry at him.
Inuyasha looked around the empty halls as he skipped class again, Kagome had asked him not to but he didn't care too much for history.
"Inuyasha,"
A smirk grew on his face as he turned around.
"Funny seeing you here." Leaning against the closest locker, the demon smirked, "Kikyo,"
Glaring at the Hanyou in front of her, the older Miko spoke, "Leave Kagome alone Inuyasha,"
Raising a white brow, Inuyasha stared into brown eyes. "I don't know what you're talking about Kikyo?"
"You know what I'm talking about you disgrace. Leave Kagome alone, that's the last warning I'm going to give to you."
His smirk grew wider as he stared down at the Miko in front of him she had a hint of jealousy in her scent.
"No I don't think I will, your sister seems kinda found of me, it would be a shame if I didn't indulge her little crush."

When Kikyo had first come up to him in the empty hallway, he could smell her jealousy, and anger it had made him pleased with himself. He knew getting involved with her younger sister would be a great plan
Inuyasha looked up as he watched the bathroom door open up and Miroku walked in with a smile on his face.
"What do you want Miroku?" Inuyasha asked as he turned around to face the monk, he already knew that it was going to be about what he did to Kagome
"I just wanted to ask you about what happened earlier today," Miroku started as he walked fully into the restroom locking the door. "There's a rumor going around that you cheated on Kagome with Kikyo, is that true Inuyasha?" Miroku's brown eyes looked into Inuyasha's golden ones.
"Yeah it's true." Inuyasha said in a calm voice, "What's it to yea?"
The white haired demon didn't really want to start anything thing but he knew that Miroku would be on Kagome's side either way.
"I just wanted to know if it was true Inuyasha. You know you can't always believe rumors that get started around school." Miroku chuckled a little as he leaned against the wall close to the door as Inuyasha stayed in front of one of the sinks.
Inuyasha signed as he turned around to face the black haired man.
Sooner or later the truth would come out and Inuyasha would rather it be from his mouth than anyone else's.
