Hi Everyone
Sorry for the long wait. Please do enjoy
Note: I do not own Fairy Tail
"Gray, what are you doing here?" Juvia asked quickly as she raises her hand to cover her beating chest, officially terrified of his response.
She truly didn't expect to run into him here out of all places. This rundown bar, she calls work. Yes, she was avoiding him in order to lessen her pain, her longing to be more than a sex object. She wanted it all and not just a taste of heaven only to be thrust back into hell-fire a couple of hours later.
She spotted him three weeks prior at the café she generally goes on her way back home from college. She was about to enter the shop and call out to him, but before she did, she saw his ex- girlfriend standing beside him. At that moment she felt her heart being crushed into a million pieces as the reflection of the coffeehouse glass revealed the tears that were streaming down her cheeks.
All she could do was cry. This was reality she needed to face it. From the very beginning he was not hers. She had no privilege to feel neither irritated nor envious. She had no privilege to confront him; she had no privilege to force him away from her embraced. She had no privilege since he was never hers.
'Why can't it be me?' her thoughts practically shouted more than once as her limbless body stared towards them.
That night she couldn't prevent herself from sobbing as her aching heart prayed for his love. Her body felt helpless by the desire of wanting more, his issues and flaws. To be wrapped tightly in his warm embrace, to be stared down by his piercing eyes. How she misses his breathless soft whispers, his crisp frosty fingertips tracing all over her skin. Is this love nothing but her narrow minded desires?
If only she could turn off her emotions, solidify her broken heart anything to stop this throbbing that's tearing her asunder. The words kept repeatedly over and over as her sobs got louder, 'this hurts, this hurts. This love that's wonderful yet so torturous '
"Just felt like drinking", he answered sheepishly "You been avoiding me," he added almost as an afterthought as he gazes at her reflection in the mirror behind the bar counter.
"I've been occupied", she expressed while diverting from a liable snicker. He twists his mouth and nods, as if to say he doesn't believe a word of it.
It was blatantly obvious from her expression that she is hiding something, sitting right next to him yet her presence felt so distant. He couldn't comprehend why she has been trying so hard to avoid him. Where he positively, absolutely couldn't stop thinking about her throughout the previous six weeks. All he needed was one text or voice note to set his mind at ease. Was that such an extraordinary request to ask? He surely knows that he doesn't like this notion of chasing her.
"One reply would have been sufficient", he said, taking her hand into his as he stares into her beautiful blue eyes. She presses his hand, jabbing in her fingernails as if she was about to fall off a cliff. He draws closer to kiss her yet she dismissed her head. He felt befuddled and hurt by her actions as his lips graze to the side of her mouth.
"I can't," she pronounces, as her eyes moves nervously about the room. He moves an inch or two away from her as he surrenders her hand.
"It's just…"she begins.
"It's just what?" He asks tonelessly.
'ahh excruciating ,I don't need you showing such a tragic outward appearance if I'm the one being rejected here', Gray thought. There's no denying it, he likely understands that he is the reason for it all.
She shudders as she takes a breath "Let's not do this now, OK? – I told you before that I'm dating someone."
He pretty much rolled his eyes at her last comment. He knows somethings wrong in spite of the fact that she making a decent effort to conceal her feelings. He didn't think for a minute that what they had would be ending. He always assumed that she will return promptly after two weeks. The sense of betrayal felt like it's choking him as the thoughts of her making love to someone new finally synced in.
He saw her a few weeks prior outside the coffeehouse, simply standing there oblivious in the downpour not certain if it was due to the downpour that left her face streaming droplets. It took him just a few seconds to run outside but yet the shading blue was no place in sight. For the first time, in a long time he felt his heart beat speeding into agony.
"Let's talk later then" Gray whispered into her ear as he slides her phone into his pocket. "I will be waiting."
She liked his breathed against her ear. Somehow it made her shiver all over making her feel weak and disorientated.
"Gray-sama", she lets out as she continues to stare at his black trench coated as he paced away.
For the first time in her life she left like just drinking all her problems away. Yes she will admit that she lied about having a boyfriend. She recalls the last time they spend together if only that night she whispered her love for him instead of "Sayonara Gray-sama", but she couldn't bear the rejection again. That night when she slammed the door close she sincerely wished that he would chase after her or plead her to stay but that wish was not granted. She felt that he didn't care enough to come after her.
Her thoughts where distracted from the bear hug she received from behind.
"Sorry for the wait, this is Natsu my boyfriend, I told you about", said Lucy.
"Nice to... Juvia?" , Natsu lets out as his face shows a strangely stunned appearance.
"Oh his on his way, let's order something while we wait", Lucy expressed as she snatches Nastu onto the stool.
"I'm going to use the restroom ", Juvia nervously stated as she garthers her goodies still abit freaked out about Nastu reaction to there first meeting.
There must be some horrible pimple stuck on her forehead, that's the only logical reason she can think about that would make him respond like that.
She felt him staring at her as she advanced towards the restroom and it just cracked her out more.
"Let me find out if his nearby yet", Lucy excessively energized voice squeaked out.
"Don't bother with your stupid blind date plan", Nastu deadpan stated. Annoyed that he was drag along to this dumb double date. He rather squander away his time at some expensive restaurant eating all the delicious food he knows he can't afford than this.
"Why not?... and don't call it stupid", she particularly yelled as her level hand pummeled into the back of his head.
"She already belongs to someone", furious at himself for just expressing the self-evident as he nourishes his head.
"Who? ",she supposedly asked.
Reluctantly he expressed, "remember I told you that Gray been bothering me for a considerable length of time now to find this girl, well she just went to the restroom."
"Huh, how would you know Juvia is the girl his been looking for? ",Lucy inquired.
"He been sending me pictures of her for the last few weeks and even of her toes clarifying inside and out why he took the photo and what he likes about it", Nastu said while scanning through his phone to demonstrate her the verification.
"You are kidding me right? ...Wow cant this numbskull realize already that's his got an obsession, seriously who takes pictures of toes?", she asked as she grabs his phone overwhelmed to be presented with such juicy intel.
She comes running out of the restroom in search of her phone however it was no place in sight.
Lucy and Nastu stared at her like she was on the edge of pleading her case for sanity however she couldn't care; she just needed to find the damn phone. I mean a young lady without her phone conveys the same quality as losing your last tampon before second break or so she thought yet a small, suffocating part inside her wondered whether she actually was going crazy.
The bartender implied something about the guy... before she would complete her sentence Juvia was at that point out the entryway thumping into someone as she hurried her apology.
She spotted his car across the street and rushed over knocking on his window to awaken the apparently sleeping fellow.
He did the entire fake yawn, extending his arm above his head as he rolled down the window at this point she was beyond the limit to her anger. He gave a coy grin as he patted the empty seat next to him.
She reached out her hand requesting he phone back. He gave her a stupidity look which only bolted her insides more.
"Give my phone", she calmly stated as she made the gesture.
"You ready to talk Now?", he asked as he gets out of the drivers seat shutting the door to lean against it.
She looked away as to avoid the question but in a split second she slammed into him, frosty hands on her cheeks as he kissed her so passionately. Lips moisten as their tongues intertwine quickly. Building in intensity as the kiss become deeper and harder. He bit down on her bottom lip softly and teasingly as he wraps his left hand around her neck not providing her with any escape route.
She somehow managed to draw away, their heated tongues meeting in the midst of hot quickening breaths.
"This thing that we...we having is not working, you gonna let me go and I...I need you to tell me to let you go", her sorrowful voice expressed as she rests her head into his chest while her fingers grips his shoulders. His hands following down her sides plotting her figure as it stops on her hips.
He pulls her head up until they bolt eyes as he slowly knocks his forehead against hers.
"I'm afraid...", he began as he slips his right hand into her hair.
"Am not mature...", he draws her into a profound hard kiss while he wraps his left arm around her waist.
Juvia hands touch his shoulders and travels down his chest. She starts sucking his bottom lip as she very gently bites down and then gradually bites a little harder as he gasps for air, pulling her nearer by her rear end.
He escapes from his lips to kiss her in the neck as he softly whispers "not mature enough to let...", his words drifting apart as she was pulled away from his embrace.
"I will lend you a hand", the stranger spoke up as he pulled Juvia into his chest covering he eyes with his hands while whispering into her ears, "He doesn't deserve to see your tears."
Gray dumbfound because he knows that irritating voice. They stared each other down as he came to the conclusion that this is the guy she been hooking up with for the last few weeks. "Loyn", he snorts, not letting even a flicker of emotion cross his face as he still holds onto her arm. She struggled out of Gray's deadlock grip in order to remove the hand that's blocking her sight yet he only saw her response as a rejection. "So this is the guy that's been keeping you so occupied huh", he drove away then knowing that the conversation is not intended to go any further. She heard the car door slam, engine roaring and afterwards only the stranger behind her murmuring.
