Rebecca didn't take the time to gawk at Billy before she turned away and stared at the fireplace with the intention of not turning around. Still, shouldn't help herself by asking, "You're not doing what I think you're doing, are you?"

"Only halfway," Billy's answer ironically gave her what she dreaded to know. Of course, what he was doing was an obvious gesture to make sure they were warm; it was a human tradition that had gone back hundreds of years, but...

Keeping the covers tight over shoulders, Rebecca tried to imagine herself anywhere else other than here. The shooting range, the STARS office back in Raccoon City, even in her own shabby apartment, and not stuck in a cabin in the woods with a man she had just met earlier in the night, a man reputed to be a cold blooded killer who murdered twenty-seven people, as well as a man who looked like Billy Coen-

Her face went red instantly and it made her stop from thinking any further. She kept her arms over her bare chest as a protective measure, even though she knew full well that he couldn't see her anyway she still felt defenseless.

Billy moved slowly, moving the covers so he could scoot up behind her, her bareback exposed to his eyes. For her sake he tried to ignore it, and he wrapped his arms around her shoulders, and she shivered from his touch on her warm skin, and she reflexively brought her knees to her chest. He put his legs on either side of her body, and to her great relief she saw he was still wearing his pants. However, she wasn't out of the woods yet. His chest went up against her back, and Rebecca would've gasped at the feeling of his hardened muscles against her spine had she not caught it in time.

Rebecca's embarrassment soon came into conflict with her police training and as such a huge battle was going through her head, 'Why are you acting like a little girl going through puberty?! You're a cop, Chambers! Act like one!' She cleared her throat, "E-Excuse me..."

"Relax." Billy seemed to be the opposite of Rebecca, he was calm and collected and while he didn't seem to be enjoying it on the outside, Rebecca wasn't sure if he didn't get a kick out of her being in such a position. They had argued enough through the night that she was sure she had gotten on his nerves at least once and that this was some form of payback on his part.

Still, him telling her to relax made her not do that.

"Kind of hard to, wouldn't you think," she replied, her body still curled up like a ball.

"I know you're uncomfortable, but unless you ease up you won't be able to let your body recover to continue this nightmare," he said, his hands going to her slender shoulders. Their touch was inviting, as awkward as that was in the girl's mind.

"Uncomfortable is the understatement of the decade," said Rebecca, taking a deep breath. "Just don't get touchy or I will shoot you. No hesitation, got that?"

He didn't reply, but he got the message.

The combined warmth of the two made them better as time went on, and pretty soon the wetness from the rain outside that had soaked them was gone and they both enjoyed the fire's heat so much that neither of them wanted to leave it for fear of getting cold again.

Yet, as time went on, the expected did come to pass. The comfort of the fire, combined with the gentle sound of the rain hitting the cabin, as well as the silence in the room made it almost impossible for one of the two people to fall asleep.

More than likely due to her circumstances, Rebecca was the only one awake. Billy had dozed off some time after she had threatened to shoot him, and he was resting peacefully as he leaned back against the sofa behind him. Rebecca hadn't even noticed when he had fallen asleep, but his legs spread a bit more and she was able to get some more room to herself.

She scooting ahead, finally relaxing her body and stretching out her legs and arms, finally before making doubly sure that her colleague was asleep and got out of the covers and stood up in front of the fire, stretching out her limbs once again. "That feels great..." she sighed feeling her muscles stretch.

Looking down at Billy still fast asleep, Rebecca couldn't help but notice how serene he appeared to be. Despite how scary he looked with that scowl and his tattoos on his arms, he was quite handsome.

"Stop that," Rebecca said softly, "He's a fugitive, and you're the cop. Remember your place."

Taking that into consideration, Rebecca went to check on her clothes drying near the fireplace. She was dressed only in her white panties and she really wanted to have something else to wear besides that. Still, her hopes were dashed again when she found they were still very damp and she didn't want to be in wet clothes regardless of how far along they had dried.

She quietly walked into the kitchen to look for the sandwiches Billy had made earlier. She took advantage of the silence and inactivity to make herself something to eat, and she decided to take her chances with the meal, hoping she didn't get sick or anything from eating it.

After she had a quick meal, Rebecca felt the fireplace calling to her, and so she hurried back before she started shivering again. Billy had remained in the same as she had left him, and that made her smile a little, as she was still wearing little and she'd rather not have him wake up and see her until after her clothes were dry.

She got back down on the floor and wrapped herself in the covers when she heard Billy mumble something in his sleep.

"Hm?" Curiosity got the better of her, and Rebecca turned to see Billy slightly moving, but his eyes remained closed. "He must be having a nightmare..." Feeling her conscious influencing her actions, Rebecca moved and got closer to him, holding the blanket to her chest, but had one hand remain free. She tapped Billy's cheek lightly, "Hey Billy? Billy?" She tapped him harder and he squirmed a bit more. She didn't hit him hard enough to wake him up, but it was a slightly hard tap nonetheless. "Billy?"

After she spoke his name again he immediately stopped moving.

For a few long seconds, he didn't move, nor did she speak.

But again, wondering what was wrong; she brought a hand to his face again.

The moment her hand touched his skin, his eyes opened, revealing them to be sickly yellow and red.

That was when she screamed.

Rebecca's sudden scream took Billy by complete surprise as well as knocked him out of his attempt at sleeping.

The scream at what she had seen in her nightmare made Rebecca bring her hands to her head, and she would have screamed again had she not felt a hot presence on her body.

Billy had been sitting behind her and when she lurched forward, the first thing he did was reach out for her, but he didn't know what he was grabbing for. His hands had been on her shoulders earlier, but they had since gone lower under her arms but on her chest, and now found themselves grabbing at her...

Rebecca's squirming ceased immediately when she looked down and saw Billy's hands grabbing at her breasts. Her face grew red, more with embarrassment than anything else as she felt them being caressed when Billy withdrew his hands.

"Sorry," he quickly said, and Rebecca brought her hands to her chest and turned to face him.

The look she gave him was one that defined 'if looks could kill'.
