Simon was too busy caught up in the enjoyment of his classes. He was never really one for school, but now he was hanging out with Maia, and he had a lot of classes with Izzy; and that made all the difference.
He was actually getting fond of Isabelle. Her black hair was gorgeous, and that was just the start. He loved the way that her lips gave a slight pout whenever something was on her mind.
He closed his locker door, turning around to head off to his next class as soon as he clicked his lock shut. However, those didn't seem to be his plans. As soon as he turned, he was pushed to the floor and hair was all in his face.
The girl pushed her hands against his chest, and started apologizing.
"I am so sorry Si! I didn't even see you!" Isabelle whined, looking down at his startled features.
He smiled. Knowing it was only Izzy, he helped her up.
"You're glad I know you, or else this would have been very… awkward."
"Awkward would only be an understatement." She chuckled.
She came a tad closer to him, and ruffled his hair. "Sorry about my clumsiness. Anyways, talk to you later!" And with that, she continued to run down the hallway.
In heels.

Class after class, Clary would see Jace trying to swoon her, and all of the girls would get beyond jealous.
But now she waited for her sister. Surprisingly alone. No creepy Jace's or hordes of jealous girls.
She stood there out front of the cafeteria waiting for said sister, until she saw her running down the hall in 8 inch stilettos. (Let's just say she mentally face palmed)
"Hey sorry I am late. Let's go!" Izzy quickly said as they zoomed into the cafeteria, and over to the doors on the other side of the room.
There was a lineup of girls, picking out their sizes for their cheer uniforms.
"Does this mean everyone is making the cheer squad?" Clary whispered lowly. Izzy just shrugged, and looked for her size uniform.
Turns out Clary was right. She asked the girl, right after she received her size cheer uniform. They stumbled into the change rooms, and she and Iz shared one; since they are blood related sisters it wasn't too awkward.
They changed into their tacky blue, white, and gold outfits, and walked out onto the field with the rest of the squad.
They stretched themselves out. It seemed like they were waiting to start.
Clary heard whistles and calls from some guys and to her luck, it was the football team.
They were smiling and waving at the girls. A few girls whispered to their friends about how their boyfriends were on the team. She saw Sebastian and waved to him. He waved back at Clary, almost dropping his helmet he was holding in his hands.
And all of the girls screamed when they recognized the last man out. Jace. She averted eye contact, and continued to stretch.
He was looking around for Clary, and when he saw she wasn't looking at him, he called out to her.
"Don't hurt yourself Clare!" He said playfully.
Izzy nudged her shoulder with a smirk. "Wave to your boyfriend."
"He is not my boyfriend!"
And she waved to him anyway, a hateful tinge in her eyes.
He waved back just as he stumbled into the group of boys in the middle of the field.
Seb looked awesome in his gear. But Jace looked, amazing. He looked like he was born to play the sport. He looked up at her as they started playing the game, giving his smirk, as the ball soared through the air.
She was going to give him hell for calling her Clare.
o.O.o
He walked out onto the field. Right behind him was blondie. Or Jace, whatever.
He found Isabelle's black hair in the crowd, and to no surprise, found Clary next to her.
But Clary had already found him. She waved to him, and he soon found himself waving back. He almost dropped his helmet and he heard Jace chuckle from behind. "Keep walking."
He groaned and watched as the girls screamed for Jace.
Whatever, he didn't care about the girls, he cared for Clary.
His gorgeous red head.
He also knew she was into manga. He loved it as well, so he lent her a limited edition copy of Naruto.
She loved it.
He walked into the huddle as Jace waved to Clary. He was better than that cocky rich kid.
Better for Clary.
o.O.o
Practice was hell.
But Clary loved it anyway.
She watched as the boys got off the field moments before the girls. They stumbled into the change room. All of the girls were sticky, sweaty, dirty and had their hair plastered to their face with sweat.
They were all still smiling though.
Clary hopped into the change room, and was back into her usual clothes within moments. She said goodbye to her sister and walked out of the change room.
She walked out, only to be lifted up by a pair of arms. She was tired of him.
"JACE! PUT ME DOWN!" She could feel his laugh that moved through her bones and warmed her skin.
"Why? You look so cute when you're taken by surprise."
She blushed darkly. "Put me down, or I will shred up everything you love and turn it into confetti." She said in a dark tone.
"Ouch. Feisty."
His face still held a smirk as he set her down a few millimeters away from each other.
"Did I look hot playing football?" She was a few feet shorter than him. She reached a hand up and smoothed down his blond, tousled hair. Almost like a loving touch.
He gave a small, but rare genuine smile, pain reflecting in his eyes for the moment; a reflection that Clary didn't witness.
"Like literally? Yes you looked like fire. Kind of like you had a fever."
He wrapped his arms around her waist. "Ha ha ha. Whatever Clare." She scowled, giving up on this argument.
"I got to go eat. I am starving." She whined, moving away to go eat lunch.
Just as she did so, he grabbed her hips and swung her up bridal style. She didn't bother fighting this time.
"Allow me." He said in a smooth tone that could definitely put Clary to sleep.
He carried her all the way to the cafeteria, where they grabbed lunch. Together.
o.O.o
Clary grabbed a seat with her friends, enjoying their last few minutes of lunch together.
"Hey guys, what's up?" Si smiled.
"I had a great day so far! I am just trying to be peppy because everyone else looks like crap." He said, too much enthusiasm lacing his tone.
Clary looked at Iz "I was having a great day until I broke my shoes, and Simon." Simon shifted awkwardly in his seat.
Clary cleared her throat. "Actually those were mine, so you owe me a new pair." Clary smirked.
Isabelle reflected her sister's appearance, a mischievous smirk ridden upon her face.
"And I already know what you guys are going to say, and no. I don't wear heels under seven inches." Izzy admitted.
Sebastian now had a smile on his face along with Simon, and Isabelle. They looked to Maia.
"Oh I'm fine. I kicked a girl in the face and didn't get in trouble." A smirk slowly made its way onto Maia's face.
Clary knew she had made some good friends; even ones that could potentially murder someone.
Yes. Maia could potentially murder someone. Enough has been said. Fav, review, and follow if you like this and would love to see more. And as always, I will talk to you in another chapter. Bye!
