Adrien sat in his bedroom with his leg still wrapped. His father had gone to Marinette's house after the boy said he'd injured his leg while riding a scooter. Cheep excuse, I know, but Gabriel Agrest bought it.

Plague circled around his master's head with a piece of cheese in his hands. "What's got you so down Adrien? You know Ladybug's identity now! Shouldn't you be happy?" Adrien sighed and shook his head. He slowly stood and limped to the window where he stared out at the sunset over Paris. Kids rode their bikes home on the now-not-so-busy streets and the cloud cover hover over the tops of sky scrapers with a light blue tint to them. Glass windows reflected sunlight and birds flew to their nests where they tended to their hatchlings.

"I don't know what to do Plague. What if Marinette doesn't want to be my friend anymore because she knows who I am? What if Hawkmoth finds out we know each other and tries to use her against me? What if her father rejects me? What am I supposed to do?!"

Adrien crossed his arms and turned his back to the glass. He slid to the floor and brought his knees to his chest. Natalie entered the room and Plague flew behind a gaming machine to hide. Adrien looked up at the woman hovering over him.

"Your father wanted me to look at your leg. He says he's worried but too busy to come here himself." Natalie told the boy in her natural professional voice. Adrien backed up and pressed his back against the long window behind him. Natalie kneeled down and rolled up his jeans so she could remove the bandage around his knee. There was a dark red color around the wound and an orange-ish coloration was coating the scab. Black specks covered the bandage.

"You need to clean this. It's starting to get infected." Adrien said nothing as Natalie dabbed at his knee with a wet cloth. He hissed through gritted teeth when an ointment was rubbed on the wound but said nothing and showed no other signs of being in pain. Finally the young woman wrapped a new bandage around his leg.

Just as Natalie was leaving Adrien stood up and limped quickly to her side. He grabbed her arm and smiled warmly when the woman turned to look at him. "What is it Adrien?" She asked with a stoic expression.

"I just wanted to say thank you Natalie. It means a lot to know my father was worrying about my wound. Thanks for taking the time." Natalie showed the slightest of smiles. She nodded her head respectfully and left the room to throw away the used equipment.

Plague flew out from behind the gaming machine and landed on Adrien's shoulder just as the boy had limped to his bed and sat down. "Is it just me or does Natalie have a nice side." Plague asked as he ate. Adrien chuckled and shook his head.

"Natalie is actually a pretty nice person Plague. She just has to be professional because she's my father's assistant. Everyone has a nice side." Plague smirked. "Except Hawkmoth of course." Both boys chuckled.

As Adrien lay down with Plague perching on his pillow to eat, both boys had no idea there was someone watching from the doorway.
