Screaming, crying, perfect storms

I can make all the tables turn

Rose garden filled with thorns

Keep you second guessing like

"Oh my God, who is she?"

I get drunk on jealousy

But you'll come back each time you leave

'Cause, darling, I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream

The next morning Marlene woke up with a clear mind. She was going to show Black who he has messed with. She went straight to the Hufflepuff table where Amos Diggory was about to sit.

"Hey Amos, I was wondering if you maybe have some time after the lessons today? I'm having problems understanding the newest Transfiguration topics, and was hoping you would help me" She fluttered her eyelashes at him and saw Black staring at her in confusion from across the Great Hall. She knew Amos Diggory would piss him, and also wouldn't refuse her. He was the perfect choice.

"Yeah, sure. I can help you with that" Of course he wouldn't. He would use every chance he got to prove his oh-so-smart. She turned and joined Lily by the Gryffindor table, took a toast and smeared it with jam.

"What did you and Amos talked about?" Lily didn't even raise her head from her plate.

"We're studying together today" Marlene flipped her hair behind her shoulder.

"Studying?" Lily laughed "I guess you don't me joining you then?" she raised her bows.

"Well…" Marlene wrinkled her nose. The red-head just laughed.

"Marls? Do I hear correctly? You're dating an enemy?" James already had that 'I'm gonna beat you up' look on his face.

"Jamsie, you don't need to worry, it's just one date." She purposely didn't look at any of the Marauders.

When she entered the library Amos was already there. He was sitting by one of the tables in the dark corner. Marlene quickly joined him with a big smile.

"Thank you so much for doing this."

"Why wouldn't I? Since you need help. If you really need it, because from what I remember you're in top of our class in Transfiguration" He smirked at her.

"Crap, that was a terrible excuse, wasn't it?"

"Well, I can't see it being so bad, since it worked."

"Okay, I don't even know how to respond to that."

"How about, we will just sit here and not be too loud." He moved closer to her, waiting for reaction.

Marlene looked at him in the dark, his brown eyes piercing her. She wanted to check if anyone noticed their rather intimate position, but didn't have the courage to look away from him. Instead she moved even closer and closed the space between them.

Amos' lips were soft, and tasted like peanut butter. It wasn't a rough kiss, that would make her catch her breath, but a slow one, that must have looked hot to someone looking.

She was right. The next morning a few of Diggory's friends were looking at her behind their shoulders at breakfast, and she would have to lie to say she disliked the attention. It just meant she got the effect she desired.

"Marlene, there's about 7 guys staring at you this whole time, and a few more that are just glancing from time to time." James was straight in his seat. "What were you and Diggory doing yesterday?"

"No more than what is fully legal." Marlene smirked while Remus sent her a questioning look.

"One would think you have better taste, McKinnon" Black was staring at her with his piercing grey eyes.

"I wouldn't." Lily looked at Diggory. "Amos is definitely hot. She noticed the look James gave her. "What? That's just true. A lot of girls are crushing on him."

"You belong to this lot, Evans?" James seemed disappointed.

"No way. I wouldn't go there."

In Transfiguration class Marlene got a note sent from Amos.

"I assume my tutoring was helpful, as now I see you doing great. 2nd round today?"

"See you at nine, professor." She quickly sent back making a cute face at him. She hated that she acted like an idiot, just to piss of Black, but if that was a way to get it, then why not.

When she was exiting the classroom she noticed a tall figure walking beside her. All of a sudden it pushed her to and empty broom cupboard. Yet, she was quick to step back and look at Sirius with a knowing look on her face.

"I already told you it's the end Black."

"Don't lie Diggory is a better snog that I am." His tone was irritating the heck out of her.

"Stop being so full of yourself. I'm not an easy girl you get to snog in a cupboard every time your dick feels like it. I'm not a doll you know."

"That's why you're dating a Ken?"

"Okay, fuck off, has it ever crossed your mind someone might actually want to date me and not just snog me?" she decided to not mention her and Amos weren't technically a thing, at least not yet.

"Or maybe, they don't want to snog you at all?" He looked at her with something in his eyes she didn't understand.

"Is this supposed to be some sort of a suggestion?" she looked at him with anger.

"I didn't say that." He backed off.

"Well, too late. It's on." With that she stormed out of the closet, leaving him behind.

She got to lunch when there was still a lot of people there. She looked around the tables and picked her future victims. But first she had to make things clear with Amos.

When she met him that evening she made sure he wasn't looking for a relationship and them let him on her plan. She wasn't sure why she chose him, but Lily would never help her with a thing like that, and she didn't want to turn to any of the Marauders.

"I must admit, I've never met a girl with a plan to race with snogging session with Sirius Black."

"So are you going to help me?" She looked at him with concern.

"Surprisingly, it sound like an interesting idea, so yes. And I know a few people who wouldn't mind you in the slightest."

A/N: I don't really know how I got Amos Diggory into all of this, but oh well, let it be. review, pleeeeasee!
