Hello everyone! Thanks for the review and the favourites. Hehehe this chapter is crappy as I for the first time decided to reveal my true writing skills without getting this baby beta-ed. *laughs*
Oh btw, this chapter might sound silly to some of you. LOL
As usual, I own nothing but the storyline and Naito Taiki in my heart. *winks*
Misu and Shingyouji finally made their way off to Ueno Station, the place where they had promised to meet up. The station was just a stone throw away from their apartment but thanks to Shingyouji's 'precise' preparations, they decided to call for the taxi. Shingyouji could not help but grin widely along the way while Misu, on the other hand just stayed calm, looking out through the window and seemingly to be in deep thought.
Few minutes later, the boys have finally arrived. The two lovers took quite some time struggling to pull their luggage out of the taxi. While Misu was busy keeping his tantrum down whilst negotiating with the taxi driver regarding the fare, Shingyouji just stood there quietly staring at his feet. He gripped his bag tightly and let out a deep sigh. Looks like it has started badly"Shingyouji-kun!" A voice suddenly ceased his loathing mind away. Shingyouji wandered his eyes up and a figure before his eyes had caused his bags to flop down on the floor from his grips. He gasped in surprise upon seeing his senpai from afar. The feeling of happiness suddenly overwhelmed his heart and caused the tears brimming up in his eyes. Shingyouji's feet were involuntarily walking on themselves as he saw Hayama approaching him.
"Hayama-san!" He blurted out the name as he lunged forward to his senpai. Shingyouji threw himself into Hayama's embrace and locked his arms tightly around the older guy with tears streaming down his cheeks. He could not help but to feel emotional as this was their first meeting after two years apart.
Oh. how he really missed his senpai a lot. His senpai's arms felt so warm. It has been a long time since they met each other. They held each other arms for a bit, treasuring their moment together before a voice knocked them back to their senses. "Shingyouji…" The voice said in a cold tone.
They turned their head to the left and gasped upon seeing the guy standing next to them. Misu was glaring on them clearly uncomfortable with the amount of affection given by Shingyouji to his senpai. Hayama could not help but chuckled on seeing his ex-roommate's reaction. "Aah… What a 'typical' Misu." He said in his heart.
"Oi, Misu! Shingyouji-kun!" Another familiar voice called out to them. It was none other but the handsome Saki Giichi who was leisurely walking towards them wearing his signature smile on his face. Misu rolled his eyes up upon seeing his old time rival walking closer to them. Shingyouji, who was in the opposite euphoria, waving his hands excitedly to his senior.
"Saki-senpai!" Shingyouji jumped up enthusiastically. As Saki reached them, Shingyouji stepped closer and grinned to his senpai before welcoming the handsome man with a warm hug before he was being pulled away by his obviously irritated lover.
"Hello, Shingyouji…" The handsome man patted his head and greeted him. His hands were then intercepted by the unhappy Misu. Saki smirked upon Misu's typical possessive reaction before turning his sight to the piles of luggage next to him. He suddenly laughed his lung? out which caused Shingyouji to stare at him in confusion. Saki then held back his laugh and turned to look back to his petite kouhai and shook his head.
"Are you planning to move to Hokkaido, Shingyouji?" The handsome guy questioned Shingyouji rather sarcastically. Misu, for the first time ever agreed with hisrival's statement and smiled ruefully.. Shingyouji who still could not understand the situation stared merely aton his lover trying to make a hint of it. Hayama who was watching them quietly had to hold himself from giggling upon seeing his kouhai's clueless reaction.
"Well, I am lucky to be able to restrain him from bringing along our whole apartment." Misu jokingly replied to his rival in his serious tone which caused his friends to burst out laughing. Shingyouji who had finally managed to digest the situation, pouted his lips and nudged his lover sheepishly. His cheeks grew redder as he tried to bluff the conversation by looking away.
"Na~ na~~ we are just joking! No offense, ne?" Hayama said trying to ease his kouhai down. The handsome Shidou boys had finally reunited once again after a long time. The boys then moved to the closest bench and took their seats while waiting for their train to arrive. As they were enjoying their times chatting to each other, two recognizable faces approached them which caused the boys' faces to perk up.
"Sagara-senpai…?" Shingyouji looked up at the guy in wide-eyed.
"-and Akaike Shouzo…" Saki added bluntly.
Saki stood up to greet his senior and his close friend politely. The others too rose up from their seats and bowed down in respect. Misu straightened his back and stepped forward before formally welcoming his used-to-be-crush, Sagara Takahiro with a handshake.
Shingyouji fidgeted behind his lover's back awkwardly and trying to wield himself by fiddling his jacket. Misu then pulled the younger man to his side and made him face the upperclassman. Shingyouji hesitantly greeted by bowing his head down which caused the other boys to crack a chuckle over their friend's gawky behaviour.
30 minutes later.
The train had finally arrived. They quickly gathered their belongings and queued up for their tickets to be checked. Shingyouji, who was having a hard time searching his ticket, started to shake in panic. His face had flushed in sweat which was noticed by Misu; who decided to lend a hand by searching for the ticket in his lover's bag.
As they were both busy looking for the ticket, they were suddenly being approached by Sagara-senpai. The upperclassman smiled on them before moving closer to Shingyouji and handed something to the younger man. To Shingouji's surprise, it was his ticket. "You left this on the bench earlier…" Sagara told him calmly. Shingyouji looked up on the other man's eyes and hastily bowed down his head in gratitude.
Misu sighed in relief and thanked his senpai. He gave his lover a glint of glare which caused Shingyouji to look down in guilt. Saki who was curious on what was happening, called out his friends to hurry. Misu, along with his senpai proceeded to the line with Shingyouji trailing them behind. After lining up for few minutes, they were finally able to step into the train and look for their seat to rest their sore bodies the entire journey.
Shingyouji while bustling with his luggage moved to the personal area as directed by the train attendant and saw an empty sit facing the window before hurriedly moved for it. He then called out for his lover and waved his hand to the older guy excitedly like a child. Misu shook his head and sighed upon seeing his lover's usual behaviour. He proceeded to the sit next to Shingyouji and placed their luggage on the provided space above the passengers' seat.
Shingyouji had finally feeling relieved. He could now breathe in ease. He looked out through the window and enjoyed the scenery. Misu locked his eyes on his lover with a tender grin etched on his lips. Nothing could make him happier than looking at his lover like this. He would do anything just to see the younger man to be this happy even though he would not admit it out loud.
Their silent moment was then shattered by an encounter who was none other than Hayama Takumi. Shingyouji beamed brightly as his senpai who took a sit in front of them. "Are you happy, Shingyouji?" Hayama questioned his kouhai. Shingyouji merely nodded and continued to look outside. Hayama turned his head to the window. He could feel his kouhai's feeling right now. He then joined them into the silence, relishing the view for a moment. It was dark but somehow the lights from the outside were very mesmerizing.
"Anou Hayama-san…" Shingyouji suddenly broke the silence.
"Yes...?" The other guy replied.
"Are you hungry?" The younger man voiced out.
"Are you hungry, Shingyouji?" Misu suddenly intercepted the conversation and looked at his lover.
Shingyouji could only nod in blush. Hayama chuckled upon seeing both of them and volunteered himself to bring the younger man to the train's dining area. Shingyouji then excused himself and went along with his senpai. They strolled around from one rail to another trying to find the place they were searching for but no avail. Hayama in the end decided to ask the service attendants for the direction as there was no way of finding it themselves. Shingyouji agreed with him and walked into the next rail.
They soon found out that the last rail was empty and decided to head back to their rail before their lovers would start feeling worried. But Hayama suddenly felt uneasy in his stomach and excused himself to the loo. As Shingyouji was waiting outside alone, he suddenly felt chills on his neck. He tried to brush the feeling aside and hoped for his best friend to be quick but the feelings had just gotten worse. Suddenly, he felt someone poke him from the back which caused him to jump up in shock. His eyes widened, his adrenaline was pumping hard, his blood was chilling up and his heart was pounding fast.
Before him, stood an old lady with her head ducking down to thefloor. Her face was covered by her long-white hair. She was standing inches away from his face. Shingyouji found himself frozen on his knees. His breath went shallow as the old lady stepped closer to him. He was gasping for the air but he felt choked. He was petrified as the old lady reached out her hands to his neck.
Shingyouji tried to stay composed in the situation he was in but he had lost his calmness away as the hands of the old lady landed on his shoulder. He suddenly felt a pain jabbing on his head as the old lady groped his shoulder. Shingyouji fell on the ground. He held his head in pain. Blood. He saw blood gushing in his head. Shingyouji was groaning in pain but he forced his eyelids to open. His surrounding was suddenly swirling around. He was grappling with the pain as he saw flashbacks incessantly played in his head .
"Run away… RUN!"
"Another dirty rat?!
"Voices… those voices… I heard them before." Shingyouji said in his heart. His inaudible voice was then answered by the old lady.
"Listen to me young man, help him and save yourself! SAVE YOURSELF!" The old lady growled hoarsely before the voices faded away and so did his consciousness. Shingyouji fell on the ground. His head felt so heavy. He could hear someone calling out his name but everything has gone black.
"Hey… May I sit here?" A voiced suddenly stirred Misu up from his musing mind.
"Sagara-senpai… Yeah sure, have a seat" Misu politely replied with a faint grin carved on his lips. He continued to look outside through the window with the smile engraved on his cheeks. He then felt a flick on his forehead which caused him to turn his head to the guy in front of him. "What was that for, senpai?" He asked the older guy in his cranky voice. 'Annoyance' was vividly shown on his face.
"You look happier now." Sagara teased his kouhai. Misu answered him with his sweet silence even though there was a blush glimpsed on his cheeks. Sagara could not help but getting amused by his kouhai's reaction.
"I am glad that Shingyouji made you happier. You deserve it." He told his kouhai smiling earnestly.
"It's more like 'he deserves me'…" Misu finally replied with a proud look on his face which erupted a big laugh from his senpai.
"Hey, you better lower down your pride, boy. Don't throw yourself into troubles. Plus that kid is looking way cuter now. Many guys or girls could be preying on him as we are talking." Sagara answered him jokingly yet in a serious tone.
"I know that and what do you mean by 'looking cuter'?" Misu suddenly questioned his senpai in his cold demeanour which caused his senpai to burst out laughing even more. Sagara just shook his head thinking how possessive his kouhai can be when it comes to Shingyouji. His laughter was ceased when Misu's face suddenly changed. Worry was drawn on his kouhai's face.
"What's wrong?" He asked with concern.
"It has been more than an hour since they left. Where the hell are they?" Misu muttered out his trouble. Seconds later Saki came up to them looking miserable and asking where Hayama had been. Soon they were all staying apprehensively silent. Saki who was feeling agitated the most stood up and decided to search for his lover. But before he managed to make another move, Hayama entered the train followed by a male attendant. Misu almost collapsed upon seeing his lover was being carried motionlessly in the attendant's arms.
"Gii…!" Hayama lunged himself forward into Saki's arms before breaking into tears. He was mumbling something between sobs but his words were far from being understandable.
Misu who was shivering in fear, stepped closer to the attendant. He reached out his hands and helped the guy to lay down his lover on the seat His lips were quivering as he called out for his lover's name. Shingyouji's face looked pale white. He was breathing but it was rather shaky. Misu briskly buttoned down his jacket and covered his lover with it. He gently caressed the younger man's hair and took a deep breath. He then stood up and faced his friends.
"Hayama… what had just happened?" He asked with his lowered down voice, trying not to shock the guy as he knew how fragile that guy is.
"I-I was in the toilet… h-he was suddenly screaming in fear before falling down on the ground… I-I…" The slender guy stammered between his sobs without finishing his sentence. Saki protectively wrapped his arms around his lover trying to calm him down.
"I am sorry, sir; I heard your friend was bawling out from the last rail so I immediately rushed into it. Then I saw this guy was lying on the ground unconsciously so I helped your friend to carry him here…" The male attendant briefly explained to Misu.
"It's okay, thank you for your help." Misu nodded to the guy showing his gratitude for his help. The male attendant then excused himself leaving Misu and his friends alone. Akaike carefully laid his palm on Shingyouji's forehead. A blazing heat stroked his hand. "Oh no, this is not good." He said which caused the others to look at him.
"I think he has a high fever, Misu." Akaike informed his friend.
Misu worriedly looked at his petite lover. Fever? How come? He was okay for the whole day and now he has a fever? Misu thought puzzled. This morning he was howling in his sleeps and now fever? His heart was pierced with worry. Saki who understood the situation then excused himself back to his seat, holding Hayama in his arms. Sagara did the same as he would like to give his kouhai a space to himself now.
"Hey Misu, don't think too much. He might be feeling exhausted, that's all. Don't worry too much. Stay close with him okay?" Akaike said trying to console his friend. He then excused himself as well and headed back to his sit, leaving a puzzled Misu alone.
Misu sat down next to his lover. His heart was in pain. He could not bear to see his lover like this. A part of his heart said that he shall be prepared for something but he promptly shrugged off the feelings away and leaned closer to kiss him on his cheeks before closing his eyes to sleep.
So how is it? Well the next chapter might be later than this as I will be having hectic times studying and managing my first event in my university.
Please read and review okay? *puppy eyes*
