Hey guys well here I am, tell me what you think please, i'll greatly appreciate those reviews and I promise to add the next chapter as soon as i get three more reviews, anyway thanks :)
"Woah you seem a little lost there." An almost angelic voice interrupted my thoughts.
"Er, I am." Great I sounded like an idiot.
"I'm Yumi." She smiled warmly at me.
Since when did I get nervous around females? Especially human females? "I'm Ulrich." I smiled back as humanly possible.
"Do you need help getting to class?" She asked so invitingly that I just had to respond.
"Yes, where is room 139?" I managed to say.
"Oh great we have class together. C'mon I'll show you the way." She smiled once more, for someone dressed in all black she sure was friendly since I remember reading that black was not an inviting color. I wonder if Odd had the luck of running into someone like Yumi. "Well are you going to follow me, or are you just going to keep staring?"
"I'm sorry I'll follow." Great strike two, I'm a loser.
"Well here we are." She motioned towards the door.
"Would it be too much trouble to ask you to sit by me? I'm not too great at this Calculus thing."
"Sure." She chuckled. "You know I'm not great at this either."
"Well then we can be ungreat together." I smirked.
"That's not a word," she giggled, "but I really do hope I have you for English as well."
"So do I. You're the nicest person I've talked to in a while." I sighed, it was true, I didn't feel so out of place talking to her.
"Well I'm glad to hear that. So where are you from anyway?" She had finally asked the question I had been dreading.
"I, far, far away from here." I mumbled.
"Oh, okay? I'm originally from Japan but my father got transferred here for business."
"Oh that's nice. I remember reading that Japanese people tend to be extremely respectful." I smiled.
"I suppose so, that's our culture after all. So what are you exactly? Your name's German but I wouldn't want to assume."
"Er yeah I'm German definitely."
"That's amazing. Might I add, you have the most beautiful chocolate hair and golden eyes." She winked as she turn her attention towards the teacher.
I couldn't help but grin, then I had the sensation of my face burning, I'm not quite sure what that was about but I figured since I'm still alive it can't be bad.
The day went as the video showed, I was forced to sit through seven boring classes, luckily I had Yumi in five of them, but unfortunately I had fan girls in all of them. Since when was I anyone of particular interest?
"Hey sport, how was your day?" Odd greeted me as he and Jeremy met me outside the gate.
"Good I guess, I made a human friend." I answered.
"So we heard, you know, you're the talk around the school, every guy wishes he were you." Odd smirked.
"Which means you can gain inside information easily." Jeremy commented. "We could possibly finish the mission sooner than expected, and begin the invasion!"
"Right." I answered, it felt great to be useful.
"So you know what you have to do then right?" Odd asked.
"You need to get close to those girls, perhaps the one that's your friend already. We can use her to get all the information we need." Jeremy smirked.
"I, I suppose I can use Yumi." I responded. It's not like she meant anything to me, it should be easy getting information out of her. "But first, you guys have to explain to me what in the hell is a fork because Yumi kept telling me if I wanted a fork during lunch and I kept saying no because I didn't know what it was."
As soon as I finished Jeremy and Odd erupted in full blown laughter I sighed, maybe they didn't know either?
"Sport a fork is an eating utensil like this one." Odd answered as he came back in 2 seconds with a weird hand sized object with three pointy ends.
"Odd I could kill someone with that, surely it's a weapon and you're just pulling my leg."
"Nope Ulrich, you need to go study the manual some more." He said before he left the room chuckling.
Perhaps I did, I sighed as I pulled out my journal and began to write about my day. Before I knew it, I had drawn Yumi on the bottom of my page all from memory. I couldn't help but get this weird sensation as if my heart was moving every time I saw her. Maybe I wanted to eat her. But if that's so, then why was it my heart that felt funny instead of my stomach?
The next morning I walked into calculus and saw Yumi with another earthling. He was tall and had black hair just like her, he also shared similar clothing style. In that moment I felt angry, but I couldn't quite decipher the cause of my anger. I simply headed to my seat before I went ahead with the my feelings and tore Williams head off.
