Rachel's P.O.V

The guy, Fitz, just looked at me. I couldn't help but smile. I could see the others calling him Fitz, but I had a Jason moment and I just had to call him Fritz. The look on his face was priceless.

Anyway, I think I had figured out the other people's name. Sophie, Keefe, Dex, and the girls name was still a bit fuzzy, Bianca?

Sophie was so amazed on how I transmitted to her. It was pretty easy. But all that stuff she told me about the lost cities, Neverseen, empathy people, fire people, and all that stuff. I tried to play it off, but it was all so surprising I wasn't sure if I was doing a good job at it.

They told me about their home. What did they call it Spangle? Sophie told me about her life and in return I told her about my adventures with Jason and how I defeated the emperor Maldor. I could tell that Keefe still didn't trust me and the others were pretty hesitant. I tried to tell them as much as I could so they could trust me. But then a thought occurred to me. How do I know I can trust them? I didn't.

Something told me to tread cautiously, but another part told me I could trust them. I mean, there story about the lost cities was pretty convincing. Well, to normal people it would look like they are mentally ill, but I had been to war and back with a wizard.

"Okay, so know that we know each other what now?" Sophie asked.

"We came here to join the Black Swan, Rachel doesn't change that," Keefe said harshly, "We still need to find who Sophie and Dex's kidnappers are."

I nodded, "Keefe is right, you made an ally… I guess, but you should go get your pet swan."

"Black Swan." Biana corrected.

"Whatever, I think we should just… go our separate ways." I said.

"Finally, Rachel says something smart! I couldn't agree more!" Keefe said.

Shut up compassion boy or I will make you feel pain. I transmitted, making him jump.

Keefe glared at me, "Don't make me lose my skin, Rach, I've done it once… not a great feeling."

Biana's eyes widened, "Sorry to interrupt, but we need to go…now!"

I followed her gaze. In the distance were three figures in black cloaks. I guessed they were Neverseen. I muttered an Edomic command and set their cloaks on fire. The other kids looked at me, "How did you do that, I thought you said you didn't have a talent."

I smiled, "I don't. I'm a wizard, remember? But that won't keep them long, come on!"

I ran past trees and then I saw it; a metallic butterfly next to an arch. "This way," I started to run toward the arch, "hurry I don't know how long it will be open."

I just hoped that when we arrived on the other side of the bridge, it wouldn't be one hundred years later. There was also the matter of coming back to earth. I might bring them back decades from now. I pushed those thoughts away as I reached the arch. The others were right behind me. "Hold hands," I commanded. They all blushed at that. "Well? What are you waiting for?"

They enjoined hands. Keefe with Biana. Biana with Keefe and Fitz. Fitz with Biana and Sophie. Sophie with Fitz and Dex. "Okay, I just hope this works. Follow me."

I stepped under the arch and when I opened my eyes Sophie, Biana, Dex, Fitz, and Keefe were behind me…

And we were in Lyrian.

Biana's POV

We ended up in a forest right outside what seemed to be a city. I realized that I was still holding Keefe's hand, but had let go of my brothers. With a flushed face I let go of his hand.

Rachel looked happy as can be, but also a little worried. "Okay, by the looks of it… I think we are in Tresicort."

"What's the matter?" I asked.

"Well…" she started fumbling with her hands, "You see we might not arrive back on Earth at the right time line."

Keefe's face got red as a tomato, "You see? This was her plan all along?! Take us to this world where she is rich and famous and stuff and take us as slaves!"

Rachel was fuming, "NO! That rule works both way! I might be one hundred years after I saved Lyrian, or before!"

"Let's just calm down." Sophie suggested.

"You know Keefe, I don't know what I ever did to you, but why you hate me is beyond me!" Rachel yelled at him.

From behind Rachel I saw someone creep through the bushes. It was a young boy who looked to be about Rachel's age. He had blond hair and was looking at her like she was a ghost. Before Keefe could respond the boy said something. I couldn't make out what he said, but Rachel turned to face him. As her eyes reached the boy's her face brightened.

"Jason!" she exclaimed.

Jason was still looking at Rachel, "Rachel? How can that be, you just left for Earth. Like last week."

Rachel frowned at turned to Keefe, "See here it's only been one week and back home it's been two months. We just got lucky we ended up crossing over when the two worlds were close enough."

Keefe looked a little embarrassed, "But there's still the matter of getting back."

Rachel nodded gently, "There is, but we'll have to go back when it is safe."

Jason looked at Rachel, "How did you get back?"

Rachel explained our little situation. And Jason kept looking us all over, "Wow," he finally said, "Okay, Rachel why can't you make any normal friends. I bet these mutants are your only friends at that. And what's wrong with their eyes?"

Rachel slapped him upside the head before anyone else could. "Shut up and be nice."

"Fine, gosh you're just like Corrine."

Rachel was practically glowing at the name, "How is she?" she asked.

Keefe cut in before Jason could say anything, "Hi, Rach. Remember us? And you know the whole matter of, I don't know, going back home?"

Sophie shoved Keefe. And Rachel looked at Jason, "Why does this look oh so familiar?"

Jason grinned, "I'll take the strawberry one." Keefe looked at Dex, "What did he just call me." Dex shrugged, "The strawberry one?"

"Don't think of it like that, think of like O great strawberry one." Jason said.

Keefe made a face. Then a man emerged from the bushes, "Okay sire. Which one do you want me to- Rachel?"

"Aram?!"

The guy, Aram, was huge. He looked too small to be a giant, but way too big to be normal human, at the height at 8'9 or something. He also looked utterly confused and I guess Jason saw it too, "Why don't we talk it over at the feast."

And with that, Rachel, Jason, and Aram led us into Tresicort.
