(Two Months later)
Neal walked into the bathroom to find me camped out on the floor glaring daggers up at him one morning.
"What's wrong?" he asked kneeling on the marble beside me.
"I am gonna kill you," I threatened emptily, his hand lighted on mine that was resting on the slight bulge that was my growing belly.
"Why?" he asked gently pressing his lips to my forehead.
"I was in here all night either puking or peeing. I am tired, I am ill, I can't stand up without the room spinning, and my boobs hurt. You sir are going to die for doing this to me." He smiled and started rubbing my belly.
"Don't try and earn my sympathies," I growled. Neal just kissed my forehead again before picking me up and carrying me to the bed tucking me in the warm soft mattress.
"You just go to sleep and rest," Neal whispered.
"I am still gonna kill you," I muttered nestling further under the covers. He was just about out the door when I called out to him.
"Neal…" he turned to me.
"Yes?"
"Lay beside me?" I asked almost pathetically. He smirked and crawled underneath the covers with me.
"Just promise not to kill me," he snickered.
"Not yet," I grinned. He wrapped his arms around me and held me close rubbing his hands over my belly. I felt so weird and emotional. I hated it.
I closed my eyes and curled back into Neal's strong chest. I felt him smile into my hair as I drifted off into sweet sleep…finally.

I woke later in the day when my phone rang. I reached over to the bedside table and answered the phone.
"Jess what the heck?" I asked suddenly angry.
"I am just so upset…" she cried, "C-can we come and stay with you for a while?" she begged.
"Jess, I am exhausted ask Neal I am so damned tired it is ridiculous I have practically JUST got into my bed to sleep after spending the last week in the bathroom," I said handing the phone over to my husband who just glanced at me confused.
"Jess, she's having a breakdown," I said.
"And you want ME to handle it?" he asked shocked.
"You are a Con-man," I smirked, "You can figure something out since your pregnant wife is going back to sleep." I said grinning.
I could practically feel him grinning, "Alright, sleep well," he said kissing my forehead and covering me back up before rising to talk to my cousin on the other end of the line.
I was almost back asleep when Neal came back and wrapped an arm around me. "They will be here in the morning," he said.
"You are such a pushover," I muttered arching back into him.
"And you are pregnant and hormonal," he shot back, stroking my waving hair.
"You ever been around a pregnant Halfling?" I asked over my shoulder somewhat snarkily.
"You are my wife. I love you no matter how moody you get."
"You realize this is the tip of the ice burg right?" I asked.
"You aren't getting rid of me that easy."
"Pfft if I thought it would be easy I would have put my money on you running like Hell when Typhus tried to kidnap me."
His arms tightened around me.
"How did you know where I was?"
"I couldn't stand not seeing you again. When I got to the ball, call it working con's to long, but I just knew you were in trouble and knew where you were. When I saw Tom… Typhus standing over you ready to throw you into the icy water… I snapped. I didn't care who or what it was I had to keep you safe," Neal said. I closed my eyes and tilted my face into my pillow to soak up the tears.
"I swear God must know something about me that I don't," I whimpered into the pillows.
"What do you mean?"
"You are way too damned good for me," I said. "Here I am, half demon, half wild, monster, who is hunted by everything under the sun and I am appointed the most wonderful most opposite protectorate in the world who loves me so much that it hurts. And I love him so much in return." I had gone from pissed to high heaven to a sobbing wet blanket in no time at all.
"Sh, sh, sh," he crooned rocking me back and forth trying to comfort me. "Easy," he whispered, "God just knew what you needed. And just what I needed, too."
"You needed a screwed up, wild, half-demon?" I asked looking up at him confused.
"Apparently. You wanna know something?" he asked.
"Hmm?"
"I really love her with all my heart," he whispered.
"Aww," I said tears immediately rolling down my cheeks at how sweet he is. I rolled over and hugged him tightly.
"Easy, love," he said.
"Mmm," I murmured.
"Rest now, love," he said.

I was woken when the door slammed open. I jumped and gave a yell until Jessica threw her arms around me, sobbing.
I glanced at Dean in a, 'what's wrong with her?' kinda way.
"Hormones," he mouthed.
"Jess, I know you are all hormonal and crap, but so am I so GET OFF OF ME!" I growled and pushed her off.
"Why are you being so mean?" she asked crying. "Everyone is being so mean to me right now."
"Ohh Jess, I am sorry, I don't know why I did that," I said starting to cry again, we fell against each other squalling our eyes out as our husbands looked at us then at each other with confusion.
"S-so you don't mind us staying here with you for a while? We could go through this together cuz," she said tearfully.
"Of course. The Druids are trained in birthing just about everything, including demons. You stay as long as you need," I sniffled.
"Well I guess that's it. We're movin in with you guys for a couple of months. I'll go get the bags," Dean said.
"Don-Don't worry about it, Dean. I'll send one of the butlers to take them to your rooms," I said wiping my nose on my sleeve.
"Thanks," he said obviously uncomfortable with two emotional women in the room. One who was usually stoic and strong a weeping puddle.
Neal had a bit of a perplexed look on his face as well and turned to Dean, "Wanna go get a drink?"
"Please," the hunter said, his green eyes trained on his moody, three month pregnant demon wife.
When the two were gone Jessica turned to Lindsey, "How are you?"
"Meh," I replied. "As good as could be expected. And you?"
"I am thrilled to be a mom, save the morning sickness and other… side effects." I blanched at the mere thought of this morning with me hanging over the toilet bowel half the night.
"Well the Druids are freaking out in delight over the prospect of a new prince or princess but I'm still on the fence," I said.
"Why?"
"I am a warrior. A half demon, a beast… I barely make a good queen. What the hell makes people think I am going to be a good mother!"
"Well you've done a great job with the kingdom so far. You are half demon so almost everything you will need to know will be instinctual and Isla and other druids are there if you need them to help."
"What about you?"
"I have every confidence in both of us."
"Thanks." I said. She nodded and then… we raided the kitchen.
Well there she is. Enjoy mes amies.
