Audrey found herself the target of curious eyes as she was sitting with Auradon's newest residents. They sat in the left corner of the dining hall, farthest away from people at Uma's request. The half-Latina also found herself the subject of Gil's eyes, she blushed and looked down at her plate, You just met him! And he's a villain! Oh, but he's so cute! People wanted to know what Princess Audrey was doing, willingly sitting with the kids of villains. She looked up and saw that the 3 of them had eaten everything they chose in a span of 10 minutes, except for the chunks of pineapple, which Uma poked around with her fork.

"Have you never seen pineapple before?" Audrey asked. To someone walking by it might have seemed rude.

"Yeah, but it looks so yellow, and... fresh. I'm almost scared to eat it." The sea witch answered casually.

The Princess smiled softly. "Don't be, it's really sweet and tasty."

Harry was the first one to try it, he reluctantly picked one up and popped it in his mouth. After he swallowed he answered Audrey, Uma, and Gil's curious stares.

"She's right." He said simply. He looked down next to Uma, "Try it", he said softly. He picked up another one and put it in his mouth, Uma quickly grabbed his hand and let her lips graze his fingertips, licking the sticky sweet of them, almost purring while she did. Harry smiled a devilish grin that screamed lust while their eyes were locked in each other's, in a split second they were lost in they're own world. Audrey was shocked to see their brazen act of PDA, Gil, who was desensitized to it at this point, saw the shocked Princess, he simply told her "They do that a lot." The voices next to the captain and her first mate quickly woke them up from they're dream world and they separated.

"Yeah, they're not really good at that whole 'privacy thing', you wouldn't believe how many times I walked in on them having- Ow!" Gil was cut off by an irritated Uma who just thwacked him on the head. He gave her pouty look and rubbed his head. Audrey smiled to herself, thinking the pouty pirate in front of her was adorable. Harry and Uma quickly did they're best to take control of the situation.

'Don't mind Gil." Uma said while swallowing embarrassment. Now that it was over, Audrey thought that their PDA was kind of... cute, even if it was brazen. The kind-of, sort of couple, Harry and Uma shared the rest of the pineapple while Gil sat staring off into space, still a little pouty about being thwacked, but he knew they loved him. Audrey remembered the vegan pizza on her plate and finished it off.

"Okay, well I don't feel like eating anything else, what about you guys?" The brunette asked after washing down her pizza with water. The 3 looked at her wide eyed.

"You mean, like, we have a choice, we can have more?" Gil asked, feeling like maybe he was being tricked. Seconds were unheard of on the isle.

"Um, yeah, we can bring some food into the dorms if you want." Audrey replied confused. Uma was skeptical, this had to be a cruel joke, they never got anything other than one plate. But she was too tempted to resist, still hungry, I mean, 17 years of starving does that to you.

Harry had no shame with it, he went back up and got plenty of pineapple to last the whole night, while Gil got chocolate cake. Uma decided she and harry would share, they always did. On they're way out of the dining hall Audrey was stopped by Jane.

"What's going on? You know she's the one who ruined cotillion? Right?" Her hand was gripping hard on Audrey's arm. She didn't know how to answer that, this wasn't Audrey like at all, hanging out with villain kids, taking way more food than needed, but ever since everything with Ben, she hadn't felt like Audrey. She felt like a stranger in her own body, and all she knows is that within the past hour of meeting Uma, she's felt more like herself than she has in the last 8 months.

"Yeah I know." She quickly pulled herself away from Jane's hand and caught back up with her new roommate and her friends. When they got to the girl's room Harry and Gil followed.

"Wait, what are you 2 doing, no boys allowed." She said sternly, not wanting to break the rules. Harry, who was standing next to Uma leaning against the bed post while Gil sat on her bed, gave her a death look, Uma held him back.

"C'mon, I thought we were just starting to be friends..." The pirate said quite flirty like, walking toward Audrey and laying a hand on her shoulder. "Can't they just stay a for a little bit?" The bluenette bit her lip just a little bit. The word 'friends' still rang in Audrey's ears, friends sounded nice, she hadn't really had any friends lately, they all decided Mal was better, so they left her.

She let out a sigh. "Okay, just for a little bit, I don't want to get in trouble."

"Thank you." Uma said, using the flirt in her voice again. Audrey could've sworn the pirate princess winked at her, but Uma was already back next to Harry sitting on her bed with Gil.

For the past twenty minutes Audrey sat on her bed painting her nails, bubblegum pink of course, she couldn't help but look at the small group of friends just 8 feet away from her. They were all laughing and talking, smiling. Never mind that she lowkey felt jealous, she remembers when the rotten four first came, they all had this vibe around them that said 'people from the isle don't love', But from watching the sea three she new that couldn't be true.

"Hey Princess, need help?" Uma asked bluntly as she saw Audrey struggle to paint her nails with her left hand. She was reluctant to answer, maybe this was finally the VK showing her true colors, but she had a sincere look on her face.

"Yeah, that'd be great, thanks." She smiled. She ignored the goodbyes between Uma, Harry and Gil.

"Okay, well, I'm gonna be nice and respect her wishes, you 2 gotta go." Uma told her boys.

"Oh, C'mon." Harry said with his signature devilish grin. She gave him a light kiss.

"Sorry, but I'm trying something new."

"Okay." He said smiling. She walked them to the door.

"Goodnight Uma."

"Goodnight Gil" she said softly, perhaps even maternally, and shut the door.

"So, lemme help with your nails." She said smiling and sat next to Audrey, taking the nail polish. "Of course pink." She scoffed a little bit.

Audrey rolled her eyes and chose to ignore it, she was still dealing with a VK after all. She felt relaxed as Uma painted her nails, but she struggled to make conversation.

"So, is pineapple your favorite now?" She asked, Uma looked up, done with her ring finger.

"Yeah, it is really sweet. I wish pineapple on the isle had tasted like that." She looked back down and started on the middle finger. A another few minutes of silence went by as the blue-braided witch was almost done painting the Princesses' nails.

"So, are you and Harry, like a thing?" Audrey asked, stopping Uma mid painting stroke. She gathered her bearings and finished the job before answering the invasive question. She looked Audrey in the eyes.

"You know, if we are gonna be friends, I prefer that they don't dig through my business." She said harshly, leaving a cold sting in the air. "I'm done." She said in a hard voice and got up.

"Thanks." The confused girl said quietly, she didn't think it was that rude of a question, guess she was wrong. She watched a bitter Uma walk in and out of the bathroom in a ripped up tee shirt and boy's boxers and get into her bed without saying a word.

"When your nails are dry go ahead and turn the lights out." Was the last sentence she got for the rest of the night.

Uma had a terrible time trying to sleep, the bed was so strange, and she hated not having Harry with her, but that's something she would never admit. She turned on her side and hugged a pillow close to her, but if felt nothing like Harry. Her mind was also racing with thoughts, the new thing she was trying was being nice. She willingly sat with an Auradon kid, a Princess one at that, and was nice to her, she didn't say anything hurtful, she even did something girly, helped paint her nails. She learned from helping Harry with his. She guessed that when she was eating with Harry and Gil, and she saw how nice Audrey was being, she subconsciously decided that she would try being nice too, for the most part it was not getting sent back to the isle that was her main motivation. Uma still found herself a little irked from Audrey's question, how dare she ask about her relationship status? But she also understood it though, the flirting between them could only make one curious. Were Uma and Harry a thing? Dating was non-existent on the isle, but everyone knew that the Daughter of Ursula and the Son of Hook were more than friends, it was obvious with the 'secret' make out sessions and the constant touching, everyone saw the looks they had for each other, but they knew not to label it. The most appropriate term for it was friends with benefits, but as stated before, they were way more than friends, because everyone knows "Just Friends" don't look at each other like that. Uma couldn't think about it anymore, her confusing relationship status was giving her a headache, she forced her thoughts to stop and stared up at the ceiling, she couldn't see it with the lights out, it was just a black void, but for some reason it was comforting, maybe because it remind her of her home, the Lost Revenge. The 'being nice' thing popped back into Uma's head after a few hours of tossing and turning and drifting in and out of sleep. What horrified her was how natural kindness felt to her, it was easy being nice, and that was terrifying, because she was Uma, Daughter of Ursula, a wicked sea-witch queen who had mercy for no one (except for her crew), not a prissy princess who was nice. That thought alone is kept Uma wide awake all night.
