Chapter 3
Since Travel Channel was paying for all of our tickets we got to sit by each other. Nick and Aaron were in one row and Zak and I were in the row right behind them. Nick took a picture of us before the plane took off. Nick was smiling, Zak was like 'what up', Aaron made a goofy face, while I just looked up not really knowing what was going on. I hooked my headphones up to my MP3 player and got onto my Nook to find a good story to read so I wouldn't pay attention to the fact that I was about to be very high off the ground. As I was searching for a story I noticed that Zak was looking at me so I went to my notepad app and wrote: Can't take my headphones out. I handed him my Nook so he could read the message. He looked at the message funny then started typing away at it. After he finished, he handed me my Nook back. This is what he wrote: What do you mean you can't take your headphones out?- Z
I'm terrified of heights so I listen to my music to calm me down, but if I hear the plane moving at all I will have a panic attack. Personal experience from last time :/ -Lynnette
Oh. I was just wondering what you were doing.- Z
Let me guess, you thought I was being a snobby brat, am I right?- Lynnette
Yeah. Sorry.- Z
It's okay. You didn't know. I prolly would've thought the same thing if I was you. And sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to be rude or anything I was just tired and I tend to be slightly bitchy when I'm really tired like that.- Lynnette
It's cool. You just surprised me is all. Every other girl who has seen the show is always like 'OMG! It's Zak Bagans! AHHH! I can't believe it! OMG! *eye roll* you know?- Z
Lol. Yeah, I can imagine. I mean don't get me wrong I do watch the show and all, but I was raised to treat others the way I would wanna be treated and since I want ya'll to treat me like a normal person instead of some fan, I figured ya'll would want me to treat ya'll like normal people too, instead of celebrities whom people idolize and obsess over.- Lynnette
You idolize and obsess over celebrities?- Z
You know what I mean- Lynnette
Who's Lynnette?- Z
Me. It's my middle name :) – Lynnette
Oh. Do you go by your middle name?- Z
My friends call me Lynn :) :) but at work and stuff I go by Sarah.- Lynnette
Can I call you Lynn?- Z
If you wanna be friends yeah.- Lynnette
And we went back and forth asking each other questions the rest of the flight and even on the way to the hotel.
"So who's bunking with who?" I asked once we got up to our floor.
"Well since you two can't seem to keep off of your phones and I don't want to be bugged all night I'll bunk with Aaron." Nick said.
"Works for me," I shrugged even though on the inside I was spazzing out with excitement. Zak went and got our room keys and handed Nick and Aaron their key cards before we all got into the elevator and went to our rooms. "Yay!" I said when Zak opened the door and I saw two full sized beds. I dropped my bags and crawled halfway onto the bed before curling up into a ball, closing my eyes, and sighing. I heard Zak chuckle but I didn't care.
"Don't get too comfortable, we still got to go eat."
I moaned before rolling onto my back and looking at him, "Do I gotta?"
"Yes."
I groaned and rolled my eyes, "I hate you right now I want you to know that," I said as I got up and started digging through my suitcase. I pulled out a pair of dark grey sweat pants that I bought at Hibbett Sports because they had more pockets and put on a Faded Glory white cotton V neck long sleeved shirt over my white straight lined spaghetti strap tank top. I went to the bathroom to change then dug through my purse for two jumbo hair clips and just clipped my hair up into a ponytail. I put on a pair of purple socks that had hearts all over it to wear with my flats. It might look weird but at least my feet wouldn't freeze as bad, because with me, my feet are the first thing to freeze. Always.
We walked downstairs to see Nick and Aaron waiting on us.
"Finally, I'm starving" Aaron said.
I looked at him, "Aaron" I said, beckoning him to come over to where I was standing, "come here a sec. I got a secret to tell ya." He had a puzzled look but came over to me. "Now I can't really tell you a secret with that much of a height difference." So he bent his head down to my eye level. I lifted my right hand up and smacked him upside the back of his head, "It's not nice to hate on the new person," I told him. Nick and Zak laughed. I smacked them both in the arm.
"Ow!" they said in unison.
"Serves ya right."
Aaron laughed. I just rolled my eyes and went out to the car.
