I absolutely adore Nepeta's adorableness. That, and her horrible death, pushed me to write this particularly morbid piece. Enjoy.
Sunken Ships
You're just young,
You're just scared,
You knew he was strong,
So he kneels, teeth bared
As the jester stands and chokes
The life from his heart.
And it was then that you broke,
You just had to start
Rectifying the damage
This monster had done,
So you just barely manage
To jump at his gun.
As your claws scratch his face
And that wide, smudged smile,
He lifts his colourful mace
And he laughs for a while.
Then he crushes your eyes,
Pain lashes like a whip,
And your last tears realise
You're just another sunken ship.
