Find me

...Free...me...

"Where are you?" Kagome spoke softly as she looked at the empty stone throne. It's highlighted cracks noticeable more so without the boy sitting in the earthly cathedra.

"You know where."

He turned quickly around, the voice had been whispered in her ear, softly, like the wind itself. Upon turning around, she found herself still standing alone, no one was there, "The Himalaya's, but you act as if that place is small, how will I find you?"

"...you'll manage..."

Free Me

Feeling hands on her shoulders shaking her, Kagome clenched her eyes tightly shut before opening them and staring owlishly at the faces above her before slowly sitting up. "...free me..." she whispered the last words whispered on the winds of her dream.

"Is that what Hao said?"

The boy with head phones worn atop his head whispered to Kagome. "Anna..."

She glanced up, a young girl was standing behind the boys, leaning against the doorframe of the bedroom she was lying in. Kagome nodded, "he's entrapped, the Earth is his cage, and he is the bird."

Ren scoffed, shaking his head, "more like the carnivorous beast."

"..."

There were no words of agreement, but Kagome could see that none of them were jumping at the chance to argue with the golden eyed Ren.

"Take her..." Anna said, eyes closed as she leaned against the doorframe. "It won't do anyone any good if she somehow gets there, frees him and then he started killing all over again."

"..." A frown found her lips, 'Killing...' shaking her head, she threw the thought of the trapped boy "killing" anyone away. She turned bright blue eyes to Anna and smiled, "thank you!"

Anna shook her head, "don't thank me yet, I'm going too, and if things go wrong, I will have Yoh and the others finish what they clearly didn't."

A tremor ran along her spine at the threat the girl a little older than herself dealt out. The guys left the room, apparently to pack, but the one with Gold eyes stayed and simply stared at Kagome. "Is something wrong?"

"...how was it you said you heard Hao?" Ren asked, Anna walked in and kneeled down on both knees next to Kagome who glanced between what she could most definitely consider the most intimidating kids her age that she'd ever met. Both were giving her hard looks, and neither seemed to be close to letting up.

"A vision...It started the other day...I ran away this morning, and had a third vision, this time, of you...or more specifically, your silhouette and then your eyes."

"And you just so happen to run into Yoh and the rest of us directly after you had that vision?" He said doubtfully, "I'm thinking you may just be getting used by Hao, he's not exactly known for his trustworthiness."

"As much as I agree, we can't be sure of anything."

"We can be sure that this won't end well." Ren said irritably. "I think it's a moot point to say this, but it's idiotic to help Hao."

Anna closed her eyes, "you're right, Ren...that was a moot point, as I said before..." Anna's eyes were once more open as she settled them on Kagome, "...we can't be sure of anything." She turned back to Ren, "go get a plane ready,"

"Yes Madam." Ren said sarcastically, but sighed and stood all the same. "I'll make a call...I'm borrowing your phone."

Kagome looked up in awe, "wow! This belongs to you?!" She turned to Ren who was looking more than cocky at the amazement on the younger girls face.

He was nearly tempted to comment about the rest of the planes he had, and the never ending supply of funds he was privileged to, but considering her own much more modest lifestyle, he chose to stay quiet.

"When we arrive, you will be charged with guiding us. I will assume you'll have yourself another vision by the time we get there that you can go off of?" Anna said with a tone of finality before turning and making her way up the steps of the plane they would be taking.

"Hehe," Yoh walked over and placed an arm over Kagome's shoulder, "don't worry so much about Anna, she's just worried about Hao. We all are actually,"

Kagome nodded, "I just don't understand why though. What was so bad about Hao? He looked...broken...Yoh. I mean, maybe there's some bad blood between you and Hao, as well as Ren and Hao...maybe even Anna and Hao?"

Yoh laughed, "Horo Horo, Ryu, Ren, Anna...Manta even...there's bad blood between all of them. As for me and Hao...there's no bad blood between us, there's just bad blood." He sighed and for a moment, Kagome watched his eyes take on a look of anxiety, "Kagome, it will be a good idea to leave everyone to their own thoughts for a while, until we can all gather our wits about ourselves." His arm dropped from her shoulder and with that easy going smile, he led her up the steps where Manta, Horo Horo and Ren were all waiting for Yoh and her to join them.

"Will you tell me later then?"

"I can do that," Yoh said calmly as he made his way past Ren who stepped back for them. Kagome was quick to follow before taking a seat by a window, and staring out as the plane started up.

"No, you won't be telling her anything, Yoh."

Everyone looked in surprise at Anna, Manta was the one who spoke up in his shock, "but why not, Anna?!"

"Because...for now, I want to see how things go first before too much is revealed to this kid."

'Kid?' Kagome glared, she hated being called that, "are you so much more an adult?"

Silence fell over the guys, each of them glancing between Anna and Kagome, both girls giving and receiving hard glares from one another.

That silence remained with the group even after Kagome and Anna faced outside the plane out the windows closest to them on either side of the aisle. The boys just kept quiet, not wanting to start a problem between both Kagome and Anna, and on top of that, they too still had a lot to think about in regards to Hao. They only had about eleven hours left to think about those trouble before they had to deal with it in person.

Kagome closed her eyes and let herself relax with the silence, she hoped she would drift to sleep soon, but the haze of thoughts in her head told her that sleep was the furthest thing from her mind.
