Would ya,
Bail me out if I need it,
(Oh oh oh oh)
Help me down,
Will you catch me when I fall?
Another night I'm out here wasted,
Another night you've gotta take my call
All Time Low- Bail Me Out
IPOV
I stopped and turned to face Jasper.
"Jesus dude, how tall are you?" I asked in shock.
He towered over me with no effort at all.
"I'm 6'11"." He said easily as we walked into the classroom. "How tall are you?"
"4'9". I said rolling my eyes when he bent to my level.
"Hi, Mr. Jenks, I'm new here and I need you to sign this."
"Welcome to Forks, Isabella," he said reading my paper, "you can have a seat in any of the empty seats."
"Thank you."
I took my slip back from him and started walking to the back of the class.
Jasper pulled me to our seat just as the bell rang for class to start. As we were taking notes my phone vibrated in my bag.
I pulled it out and saw James texted me.
I'll be up later today. About to take off soon.
I silently squealed and clenched my fist happily.
Can't wait to see you. Text when you land and I'll pick you up.
Okay. Love you Bugaboo.
Love you too Bestie.
I put my phone away and finished up the notes on the board. I put my pen away and put my head down until the end of class.
When the bell rang, I started to gather my things. I turned to Jasper when he said my name.
"Yes?"
"What do you have now?"
"Volturi." I said before walking off.
"Oh me and you are gonna be real good friends this year Isa. I can see it now." He said throwing an arm over my shoulder.
I lifted my hair off my neck before letting him put it back. I let my hair fall over his arm as we walked towards mom's room.
"Mrs. V, there's a stranger following me around." I said handing mom my pink slip.
"Isabella." Jasper gasped. "I'm hurt. I thought we were friends."
Mom laughed. "Jasper, I see you've met my daughter."
"She's in all of my classes so far." He said shrugging.
"She's in all of your classes so get used to her." Mom said before turning to me. "I see you've met my favorite student."
"He's alright." I said biting my lip as Jasper left us at her desk.
Mom snorted and pointed to the table he was sitting at. "Go sit down."
I sat with Jasper and we played Tic Tac Toe as we waited for class to start.
"Alright class." Mom said from the front of the room. "Today we'll just be doing cover songs. As you all know next week is theme week. I'll have the themes all ready to go on Friday."
We started not too long after that and Jasper and I continued playing Tic Tac Toe.
"Jasper, you're up." Mom called.
"Isa, do this song with me?" He asked.
"Only if you do one with me." I replied standing with him.
We walked to the front of the room and he pointed at the piano.
"What's your song?" Mom asked.
"Three Cheers For Five Years."
"Have at it." She said, glancing at me.
I moved the mic and waited for Jasper. He nodded at me and I started playing as he started singing.
"And I swear that you don't have to go, I thought we could wait for the fireworks. And I thought we could wait for the snow to wash over Georgia and kill the hurt."
I sang with him lightly, his voice was still the most dominate.
"I thought I could live in your arms and spend every moment I had with you; stay up all night with the stars, confess all the faith that I had in you."
I dropped out and let him continue.
"I had in you. Too late, I'm sure and lonely; another night, another dream wasted on you. Just be here now, against me. You know the words so sing along for me baby."
I joined him occasionally, never singing loud enough to overpower him.
"For heaven's sake, I know you're sorry. But you won't stop crying, this anniversary may never be the same. Inside I hope you know I'm dying, with my heart beside me in shattered pieces that may never be replaced. And if I died right now you'd never be the same.
I dropped out again and sped up playing slightly.
"I thought with the month of apart, together would find us an opening and moonlight would provide the spark and that I would stumble across the key. Or break down the door to your heart. Forever can see us- not you and me and you'd help me out of the dark. I'd give my heart as an offering.
"Too late I'm sure and lonely; another night, another dream wasted on you. Just be here now, against me. You know the words so sing along for me baby. For heaven's sake I know you're sorry, but you won't stop crying. This anniversary may never be the same. Inside I hope you know I'm dying with my heart beside me, in shattered pieces that may never be replaced. And if I died right now you'd never be the same."
We sang together easily, our voices blending smoothly.
"And I will always remember you as you are right now to me. And I will always remember you now, remember you now. So sleep alone tonight with no one here just by your side. Sleep alone tonight."
As Jasper sang, I sang over him lightly.
"How does he feel, how does he kiss, how does he taste when he's on your lips? How does he feel; how does he kiss? (Let's sleep alone tonight with no one here just by your side. Sleep alone tonight.)"
There was a brief pause before we continued.
"I can't forget you. I know you want me to want you, I want to, but I can't forget you. So when this is over, don't blow your composure. (Let's sleep alone tonight with no one here just by your side. Sleep alone tonight.) Baby I can't forget you. I know you want me to want you, I want to, but I can't forget. So when this is over don't blow your composure. (Let's sleep alone tonight with no one here just by your side. Sleep alone tonight.)"
We finished the song together smoothly.
"I can't forget you. I know you want me to want you, I want to."
