Chapter 3

The Bite

Olivia's POV

I drove home in my car to home which was about 20 miles away. That's too far.

"Hey Siri," I said to my phone.

Siri didn't respond. Then I realized that my phone battery was dead.

"Jesus," I said to myself.

I kept driving. I just needed a map. I saw a man by a river standing. I drove over by him. I slowed down so I won't hit him. I stopped my car. I rolled my window so I can see him.

"Excuse me, sir. Could you tell me how to get to 72311 Sunset Boulevard?" I asked him.

The man didn't respond.

"Excuse me. Sir, can you hear me?" I asked him.

No response. The man collapsed on the ground. I got out of my car to see what happened? I grabbed my flashlight just in case. I saw that the man wasn't breathing. I turned my flashlight on him. He was scratch marks all over him with blood. A growl came in from the distance. I ran back in my car. I then drove off.

"It's ok. A man just got murdered by someone or something. Don't be stupid, Olivia! Off course someone murder him!" I said to myself.

I was worried. What killed him. Was he murder by a person or animal. There weren't many animals around Mercy Falls. I was getting sleepy. Just then, a large animal came on the front part of my car. It was the large dog with black fur. I realized that it wasn't a dog. It was a wolf. It blocked the window so I couldn't see the roads. The wolf growled at me. I turned righted but that cause my front tire to blow up and make my cars flip sideways. After 15 seconds I crashed near the woods.

I woke up from consciousness. I saw that I was still in the car. I had two choices. I can stay here and die, or I can get out of the woods and get some help. All I can think of was getting out of the woods. The roads weren't far from the woods. I got out of the crashed car. I saw a road just 30 inches ahead. Before I can take a step, the wolf pounced on me. The wolf ripped my shirt off. It bitted my arm with its front teeth. I screamed in pain. We made I contact. From blue eyes to yellow eyes. Before it could take a piece out of me. A gunshot happened from ahead. The wolf got off of me. The wolf ran off into the woods. I couldn't move. I was just bitted by a wolf. I couldn't stay awake.

"Hey," a man said.

My sight was fading. My eyelids were becoming heavy.

"Stay awake," the man said.

I saw that the man had a shotgun. I could tell that he was a hunter. My eyelids became even more heavy. I started to drain away from consciousness.

So, I made the chapter a bit short. Sorry. I just had a bit of writer's block. Hopefully that won't happen on the rest of the chapters.

Please review.
