RWBY Belongs to Rooster Teeth Productions and Monty Oum(Bless his Soul)

Damn, Brooklyn's got nothing on this place. Honestly Max would have never thought Vale would be so…massive. He never was the type to pay attention to architecture or the like but he couldn't help but be impressed.

Well now wasn't the time to stop and smell the roses, he had a mission. And that mission was…get some clothes that weren't mangled. Between his unique hair color and clawed up clothes he was starting to draw some looks. Luckily he swiped a map(and a couple dozen lien)from a passerby.

"Welcome to Cobalt's Clothing what can I-whoa kid what in Oum's name happened to you?" Cobalt was a slightly burly man with pale skin and, to his namesake, Cobalt blue hair.

"Alpha Beowolf." No further words were needed from the silver teen seeing Cobalt's sympathetic nod.

"Okay so do you just want a basic outfit or one of our special orders."

"Hmm…Special Order I guess?"

"Okay fill this out and hand it back to me." Cobalt handed max a Glowing tablet with blank lines and the stores insignia in the background.

Max surprisingly spent 10 minutes going over the options before handing the tablet back to Cobalt. Now he was patiently sitting in his seat hoping one thing and one thing only…that Cobalt wouldn't fuck up his outfit.

About an hour later Cobalt came out with the finished product. Max could only stare wide eyed at it. It was a black hoodie with light grey shoulders and hood with matching arm-guards, black cargo pants and grey armored boots that went up to mid calf. Completing the outfit were silver gloves and a white t shirt with the silhouette of a game controller on it.

"I-Its perfect, how and when did you make something so awesome so fast?" Cobalt simply waved Max off and said it was a secret.

"Hey brat if you don't mid me asking why were you clothes so mangled up, shouldn't your aura have kept them intact?"

"Well I haven't exactly unlocked it yet." Cobalt dropped the cup he was holding.

"So you mean to tell me that you survived a fight with an Alpha Beowolf without an aura."

Max's mouth took a somewhat cocky look. "Impressed?"

"Not in the slightest even if it was an Alpha which I don't believe it was, it was still a Beowolf, those things are basically fodder compared to other Grimm."

Max twitched but didn't show much beside that. Fodder my ass! I nearly died during that stupid tu…tor…ial. Max was to caught up in the battle to remember it was still technically the tutorial when he fought the Alpha, which was sad considering he almost died.

But he really didn't care much. Considering his ability he'd probably be able to one-shot those things after a couple dozen quests. Plus he doesn't even have his semblance yet. The possibilities for havoc were endless.

Max didn't notice he was chuckling ominously until Cobalt cleared his throat, snapping the Gamer out of his trance. Cobalt looked somewhat warily at the silver boy before ringing up his outfit.

"Alright that'll be 3500 lien."

Eagerly paying the shopkeeper Max became nothing more than a blur going straight toward the fitting room. Now that he was actually wearing the article, he noticed the extra weight on his back. Taking off the jacket he noticed the twin gun holsters on its back. Opening the inventory he discovered right before his arrival in vale, he noticed that his outfit gave him buffs surprisingly enough.

[Quicksilver Set] Max couldn't help but snort at the title.

Max left the shop in satisfaction and began to aimlessly walk through vale hoping to find somewhere he could get some skill books. After several hours of walking Max was beginning to become bored, until a familiar shop caught his eye.

Tuckson's Book Trade certainly lived up to the catchphrase. There were comic books, paperbacks, and books that were thicker than his arm.

"Welcome to Tuckson's Book Trade, home to every book under the sun. How may I help you?"

"Do you have any books on martial arts, preferably kickboxing." The man pointed to a section in the far right closed off for combat based books.

After leaving the book store with his purchases, Max was able to find a decent priced hotel. However…

"What do you mean I can't stay here?!" Max shouted in indignation at the lady behind the hotel counter.

The woman put on an obviously fake faceofsympathy. "You must understand sir, we only have one available room left, and the people adjacent to it are allergic to dogs. I do hope you understand." She was going to continue her jesting until she heard a growl from the boy in front of her.

Max couldn't keep his ears from twitching from irritation. "First of all, I'm a Wolf faunus. And second that doesn't make me an actual wolf. Get it right." Max was practically in the woman's face.

"I'm going to have to ask you to leave, sir." The woman said with a tone of finality. Though her voice was seemingly blank, Max could detect the underlying hint of satisfaction in it.

"Alright then but first." Max flipped off everyone in the room before walking out.

"God this thing feels like a rock." Max was having trouble sleeping on the cheap hotel bed, tossing and turning in an effort to get an fraction of comfort.

Today's been crazy. I die, get brought back to life, in remnant of all places, and fight some monsters. And it hasn't been a full day yet. Max, frustrated at the bed, resigned to sleeping on the couch which was surprisingly much more comfortable than the bed. A life or death battle as the tutorial, that one hell of a difficulty cap. Max smirked, Not that I'm complaining, just makes it more satisfying when I beat them down. His eyes growing heavy, Max drifted off into his dreams.

"Not bad for the first day Max, not bad at all-*grumble* I can get hungry in this game?" Max yelled out more in shock rather than anger. Almost every RPG or strategy game he had played in his old life never had real hunger mechanics. Max shook it off before heading down to the breakfast area downstairs.

I guess the food makes up for the shitty beds. Max was happily munching down a large stack of pancakes and several pieces of bacon. His consumption shocked the people at the table near him and pleased the chefs who took how much Max was eating as a sign of their skills.

Max downed the entirety of his previously untouched orange juice in a single gulp. "That *burp* sure hits the spot." Max exclaimed before paying the chef, adding a tip with it. Of course he did swipe some guy's money on the way out. Sure he didn't exactly 'spend' the money but it was the thought that counts.

"This is going to be annoying as hell to keep up with." Max silently cursed the mechanics of the game. Though when he took the time to think about it He wasn't exactly living in a 'game' and social interaction is a lot harder in real life than in video games.

"In…real…life." Wait so did that mean he was stealing from real, living, breathing people unfairly? Max had an epiphany that he was turning into a no good thief who just swiped wallets willy-nilly.

So that would mean he would have to become a really good thief. No longer would he be some huntsman who just happened to be a two bit pickpocket, No he would become a huntsman who could hold up a store and beat the worse guys down. Like some super badass vigilante!

Pumping his fist in determination, and weirding out several people, Max proceeded to briskly walk off to-

Max slowly tapped Yes, still irritated from being interrupted. Max briefly looked around to make sure there were no further interruptions.

Pumping his fist in determination before he was so rudely interrupted, Max headed off to the most well know place to frequent with more shady individuals.

"Excuse me, do you know where Junior's Bar is?"
