We both know that was a lie... I turned around to serch for the mysterious voice's source, but I couldn't find one.
Who are you? I asked the voice who appeared to be in my head.
You remember me from last night? I stopped dead in my tracks outside of Cry's bar, The Late Night Bar.
It can't possibly be.
But it is, my dear girl. I started to knock on the door of the bar.
"What was that?" Red asked Cry while she was heading up to the door.
"May as well find out!" Cry called to her as she oppend the door. I quickly thanked Red and walked over to cry. Cry had a goldish-brown haircolor while a porcelin mask covered his face. The mask had two plain circles for eyes and one straight line for a mouth. He was tall and lean, but not Krism's type. Krism's type was more, curvy then mens' bodies. The Queen was her type.
"What is it you want Kris?" Cry asked me. For a lord he was quite childish with just his friends around.
"I told you to stop calling me that." I told him when he said his nickname for me. Well I think it's adorable. I don't care what you think. "I need to talk to you, alone. Sorry Red." I added.
"It's fine, that just means that I get to go to sleep now. Bye, Lady Krism" Red said as she saunterd away.
"What is it you want Kris-M?" Cry emphasised the m in my name. You happy now? Yes. Then why are we still here? Because you're still here. Oh, ouch, i'm dying! You better be.
"I require the help of a powerfull mage like yourself to help me with something from..." I stopped myself from saying 'past' for that would raise way to many questions. But if I said 'curse' that would basically mean I would have to run away from everything I love to keep them safe.
"From?" Cry asked, breaking me out of my thoughts.
Where from, little Krism? Where from? If you won't answer him, I will.
"From," I said trying to think of a cover. "From..."
Tick Tock, time is running out!
"From?" Cry asked again, showing a few signs of worry, even through his mask.

"From," I said, as my fear slowly increased.
4
"From?" Cry asked, clearly worried about my fear.
3
C'mon think Krism think!
2
"From my-" I wasn't able to finish my sentence.

"From me. Her curse. Non family curse might I add." The voice from my head made itself known to cry. Boy, it loved its job.
"May I ask but, did someone else just say something or is it just me and my imagination?" Cry asked, very suspicious.
"It's not just you Cry. I would love it if you would be able to try and rid me of this, curse." I flinched as I spat the word out. But no matter how hard I tried, a single tear had escaped the prison of my crimson eye. Slowly moving down my tanned yet beaten skin, it traveled down my cheek, reaching my chin, then slowly falling to the floor.
"How long as he been here?" Cry asked, clearly freaking out.
"My entire life." I sighed. To many questions. Not enough answers. Whe is this going to stop? I asked myself.
"I will stop only once you complete the task laid out for you. That is your reason for coming to Victubia, wasn't it Krism?" The voice just loved messing around with all beings.
"What's he talking about, Krism?" Cry asked her.
"Just ignore him please!" I snapped at Cry
"Am I getting on someone's nerves?"
"YES! Now shut the fuck up. I don't have time for you anymore!" I screamed at the voice in my head.
"Sorry, little Kris. I always forgot how mad you could get. The village can never forget now..."
"What's he talking about? No more lies. In order to break this curse I need to know all details. Now". Cry demanded.
"Well his name is-" I was cut off when he put immense pressure in my eye.
"No need to tell him my name my dear, you know what could happen if you ignore me" He warned as Cry ran over to me where I was kneeling while holding my eye. "Do you know what's worth fighting for?"
"The inncoents, my friends, anything I can save."
"When it's not worth dying for?"
"I don't know."
"Does it take your breath away and you feel yourself suffocating?"
"Um"
"Does the pain weigh out the pride?"
"I guess"
"Did someone break your heart inside, you're in ruins"
"No"
'Throw up your arms into the sky"
"Shut it."
"And your thoughts have taken their toll"
"Stop"
"When your mind breaks the spirit of your soul"
"No more!"
"Nothing's ever built to last, you're in ruins"
"Your wrong!"
"Did you try to live on your own? When you burned down the house and home?"
"I never did that!"
Did you stand too close to the fire?"
"No!"
