Flock P.O.V.
The way down to the forest floor through the dense foliage was a rough one.
Max, Iggy, and Fang all had rather large wing-spans, so the many outreaching tree branches often snagged their wings, causing them to have to change direction and go up an inch or two to free the feathered limb. In contrast, Angel, Gazzy, and Nudge had almost no problem on the way down, as their wings were smaller.
By the time all six members of the flock touched down to the ground, the entire forest had fallen silent, except for the sound of each person's breathing.
"Alright, since there's two of them, we're going to split up. Iggy, I want you, Nudge, and Angel to approach the boy. Fang, Gazzy and I will greet the girl," Max instructed. As she spoke, they split into the requested groups.
"Alright Angel, do your thing," Iggy said with a grin. The teen knew that the younger girl would be the best to lead; he was blind and Nudge would have no idea where to look, unlike Angel who could follow their thoughts. He kept the tips of his fingers on her wing as she lead him and Nudge towards the male.
Max merely nodded to Gazzy and Fang as she turned, walking forward slowly. She wasn't quite sure about the two kids' location, but she knew they were close. Her right hand man- Fang of course- walked past her with confidence, going slightly east of the direction she'd been heading.
After a glance back to make sure Gazzy was following them, she silently jogged to catch up to Fang. "How do you know they're this way?" she asked in a low whisper, knowing that her attempt to find his reasoning was about futile. Fang gave her one of those 'Just shut up and follow me' looks as they continued walking.
As soon as they caught sight of two teens in matching jeans and orange tee-shirts with the words 'Camp Half-Blood' printed on them, Fang and Max stopped, allowing Gazzy to catch up to them. "Not cool guys!" he said in a mildly irritated whisper, though he had an excited smile plastered to his face.

Angel kept her own mind trained on the thoughts of the two strangers they were seeking as she steered Nudge and Iggy through the trees surrounding them. The task wasn't an easy one. Nudge, who for once was silent, had her mind running a mile a minute with mentally held conversation, and they kept, well, nudging their way into her head. Iggy's ever present hand on her back occasionally diverted her attention as well.
Angel, who was very aware of who these two kids were, frowned and gave Nudge a pleading look.
"Your thoughts keep pushing their way into my head. Can you try to stop thinking so much?" she asked quietly.
Nudge blushed a bit, embarrassed by the fact that her mind could be just as busy talking as her mouth. "Sorry," she mumbled, doing her best to put up a mental block.
'Much better,' Angel thought to herself, refocusing her mind on the demi-god's thoughts.
'The hell is going on?!', 'What was that?', 'Was that a wing?' These were all different thoughts that Angel was receiving.
A light smirk crossed the young girl's lips. They truly were spineless. Afraid of some mysterious creatures with wings- how pathetic. Her boss had been right, of course. But then again, when was he not?
It took very little time for the blond to find the ever famous Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase. When she did spot them, they stood out like sore thumbs. Two teenagers in bright orange tee-shirts in the woods: not obvious at all.
'Stay silent, and stay still,' Angel telepathically instructed the older two, who each gave her a short nod in understanding. She couldn't risk this plan going wrong. This was her chance to finally, finally show her boss that she was better than that stuck up, sandy-blond haired son of Hermes.
The girl shook her head a bit, refocusing herself. Now was not the time to be complaining, now was the time to be watching, listening, following.
When Angel finally caught a glimpse of Max, she sent her the question, and in return received the go-to.

The two groups stepped out of the woods simultaneously, causing the half-bloods to jump a bit.

If Fang could use one word to describe these kids, it would be rude. 'Who- No, /what/ in Hades are you, and how did you get in here?' isn't exactly the most polite way to greet someone in his book, no matter how different they are.
He crossed his arms, leaning against a pine tree. He wore the cold, closed off look that he often did around people.
He stayed that way, silent and staring, as Max talked to the two teens. He heard her momentarily loose her temper about the questions, but regain her composure after a shared look with him.
"Excuse me? Is that what you say to everyone you meet? Obviously you don't have-" This was when her eyes caught Fangs and she took a deep breath. "Listen, we were looking for somewhere to spend the night, and we heard the fight going on down here. We stopped to see if you guys needed any help or if you guys knew of a place we could sleep."
When they questioned her again about whom they were and how they got into their 'camp', Max couldn't help but grit her teeth.
"Look, if this is a camp, then there's gotta be somebody in charge. Can we talk to an adult or something?" she asked the pair with annoyance.
The boy, who had hair as black as his own; sea green eyes; and a fairly large, bronze sword in his hands, gave his friend questioning look. It seemed that the decision rested with her.
The blonde bit her lip, shifting the weight of her dagger in her hand as her grey eyes looked over each of them.
"Let's take them to Chiron," she said, looking at him. Then she diverted her eyes back to Max. "This doesn't mean we trust you. Percy, you walk in the front, I'll stay in the back. And no... No flying!" she told the flock in a much louder voice than necessary.
They boy- Percy, he assumed- nodded and began to walk. Fang smiled a little when he saw Max's face. She looked ready to knock the girl out as she followed Percy.
Fang had learned a while ago that so long as he stayed still, he could blend in with his surroundings. Well, his smile was just enough movement to make him visible again, causing a start in the girl as she walked by him.
Percy's P.O.V.
When Percy saw the look on the oldest girls face, he knew that they had made a mistake in interrogating her and her friends.
"Excuse me? Is that what you say to everyone you meet? Obviously you don't have-" Just before she could insult them, the goth looking boy gave her a look. This instantly seemed to calm her down. "Listen, we were looking for somewhere to spend the night, and we heard the fight going on down here. We stopped to see if you guys needed any help or if you guys knew of a place we could sleep," she told them in as calm a voice as she could manage.
"Six complete strangers with wings drop out of the sky and want us to give them a place to sleep? Look, tell us who you are and how you got into our camp and then maybe we'll consider helping you out," Percy told her.
"Look, if this is a camp, then there's gotta be somebody in charge. Can we talk to an adult or something?" she asked, annoyance obvious in her voice.
Percy looked at Annabeth for an answer. He was only the sea-weed brain, after all. He saw her bite her lip, something she rarely did.
"Let's take them to Chiron," she said, looking at him. Then she diverted her eyes back to the oldest blonde girl. "This doesn't mean we trust you. Percy, you walk in the front, I'll stay in the back. And no... No flying!" she told the group in a much louder voice than necessary.
At his friends command, he nodded, smiling a bit as he began walking towards camp. He could practically feel the anger coming off of the leader of the little group who had 'dropped in' on them, which rather amused him.
When he heard a startled noise from Annabeth he instantly turned, uncapping his magical ball-point pen and taking a hold on the hilt as it transformed into Anaklusmos. She was staring at a dark skinned, dark haired boy who seemed to have come out of nowhere. The boy looked past Annabeth to Percy, and an instant understanding formed between the two: I'll stay away from your girl if you stay away from mine.
Each of them nodded, and Percy turned to continue towards camp. He didn't have a problem with this agreement at all. He worried enough about whether or not she might end up with another boy at camp without having to concern himself about some stranger.
Perseus pushed these thoughts aside, glancing back to make sure the strangers were following him. Sure enough, they were all behind him, and the black haired boy was walking with the group's leader, Annabeth covering the rear as she'd said she would.
At some point while they had been walking back to the Big House, he had started thinking about Annabeth again, and what she thought of 'tall, dark, and handsome'. The boy appeared to be about sixteen or seventeen, not much older than they were. He was tall, at least two inches taller than Percy himself at six foot; lean and quite fit from the looks of it; the teen had that mysterious 'bad boy' sense about him, simply due to his dark, secluded appearance. Why wouldn't Annabeth be attracted to the boy?
His thoughts were interrupted by blinding sunlight as he walked out of the thick woods and into the small clearing between the mess hall and the arena.
He stopped, rubbing his eyes as the winged kids and Annabeth stepped out behind him. Of course, Chiron had already been expecting them, and was galloping towards the group of eight. A number of campers had stopped what they were doing, and were staring in fear and wonder.
The centaur turned to the campers, waving them away. "Please, go back to your training and activities," he told them before giving his attention back to the new comers.
"Welcome to Camp Half-Blood," he said with a warm smile to the winged freaks. "I'm Chiron, the centaur in charge of camp activities. If you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate you all to come with me," he stated, causing Percy and Annabeth to share an uneasy glance.
The half stallion half human being began walking south towards the Big House, when the leader of the bird kids did something they rarely hear: she questioned Chiron's instruction.
