A/N: And this is the next chapter. I was getting a ton of mixed reviews so I'm just going to just keep what I've been doing. TT Robin has been through a lot from Batman, which is why he was so cold to him in the last chapter. Due to him being shot and basically being fired he formed the Teen Titans. YJ Robin is just really a kid who thinks he can handle anything that comes at him. Plus being in a world that is so unfamiliar as a kid, he's scared. And being cocky is all he knows how to be.

Disclaimer: I don't own Young Justice or Teen Titans

Robin felt the air against his cheeks as they brushed them at a rapid speed. He did a flip in the air before launching out his grappling hook from his utility belt. "At least this Robin has a grappling hook!" He yelled with a grin on his face as he did another marvelous flip as he landed on the rooftop of a building. "Let's see…" He trailed as he went to the compartment in the belt where he had his binoculars, only to find them missing. He narrowed his eyes in moderate confusion as he looked down to investigate. "Right…Different universe. This will take some getting used to."

"Dude!" Beast Boy yelled as he landed on the rooftop next to him, having undone a transformation from a hawk. "Not cool!"

Robin glanced back at the green skinned boy with a smirk, "What?" He asked rhetorically, "Weren't you right behind me?" He asked as he looked down into the streets and found a man dressed in the colors of black and yellow.

Beast Boy glared as his right eye twitched in irritation, "We didn't even get the order to move out, and you had already left!"

"Beast Boy is right," Raven said as she appeared out of a black hole, with the rest of the Titans behind her as they all stepped out. As soon as they did, the black portal closed. "We need to work together," she stated in her monotone voice.

"Man, you may look like Robin, but you sure don't act like him," Cyborg said with a glare.

Robin shrugged, unfazed with the bickering, "Look, we're wasting time arguing when we can go down there and catch the criminal," he stated as he jumped off the rooftop, not even glancing back at the Titans. Starfire gasped as she ran to where Robin had jumped and looked down, only to find him doing multiple acrobatic flips before landing on his right foot. He looked up with a small grin on his face as he began to run towards where Dr. Light was running away to.

"What are we going to do about him?" Raven asked as she looked at Cyborg. "The Titans will fall apart without a leader," she reasoned as Cyborg put a hand up as if to silence her worries.

"I know, I know!" He yelled in an agitated tone, already growing tired with the rambunctious Robin instead of the composed Robin they were all accustomed to. "But for now, we have Dr. Light to deal with," he said as he fisted his raised hand and lowered it. "Titans, go!" He yelled as they all began to go after the criminal.

Robin was sitting in the bioship and had his arms crossed in thought. 'How should I deal with this mission?' He thought as he narrowed his eyes slightly.

Miss Martian glanced over at Robin with a worried look. She then faced forward and pretended to not notice how tense his body posture was. "Hey, Megan?" Artemis asked as Miss Martian looked to her left with a slight tilt of her head. "How much longer until we get to Peru?" Artemis asked with a tired expression, "Because if I have to listen to Kid Mouth's classical music anymore…" She trailed dryly.

"We'll be there in five minutes tops, Artemis," Miss Martian said with a grin, knowing what she was talking about, as Super Boy was casting an angry expression at the young speedster in a passive way to tell him to shut his music off.

"Robin?" Aqualad asked as he walked over to Robin, pulling him away from his thoughts as the boy wonder looked up in slight confusion. "I want to inform you that if you feel any discomfort during the mission, then do not push yourself," he said in his relaxing tone.

Robin nodded, "I understand," he said as Aqualad nodded, a slight smile appearing on his face.

Aqualad walked back to his chair as the bioship began to slow down into a specific spot as it halted. "We're here. Lowering the ship now," Miss Martian said as the ship began a slow descent.

"Thank you, Megan," Artemis mumbled underneath a scowl.

Robin looked at each of the members, and he didn't think that this Team was much of a…Team. Their attitudes clashed and he wasn't sure how well they could all work together under the circumstances that they all seemed to hold a grudge with each other. That was concerning to him.

"Our mission is to protect the researchers investigating the Mayan ruins. Sportsmaster was seen with his henchman, and we are to fend them off," Aqualad said as the rest of the Team, minus Robin, nodded. Robin felt his nerves start to rise, no one told him what to do. "Let us make haste," Aqualad stated in a stern tone as a hole opened up in the middle of the bioship.

Once by one, each member hopped out of it and landed on the jungle ground. Robin was the last to make it out, and he landed on his left foot, his more dominant foot of the two, and stood up slowly. Kid Flash grinned, "Nice job at being stealthy, Rob," he stated as he patted him hard against the back, making him launch forward a little.

"Knock it off, Baywatch," Artemis growled, "He's recovering, he doesn't need your added pestering on top of that!" She yelled as she glared. She then took out her bow and began to watch.

"Girls…" Kid Flash mumbled under a scoff as he rolled his eyes before following after her. Robin followed after the two of them, the rest of the Team followed after him.

Super Boy has his arms crossed and was using his infrared vision to track any enemies around the area. "I haven't seen anybody yet," he stated as he closed his eyes, his eyesight returning to his normal vision. "Robin could do a better sweep than me."

Aqualad nodded in agreement, "Robin, you could use your holo-glove and track them by satellite," he said in a small whisper.

"Uh…" Robin trailed as he brought out his arm in front of him and looked at the foreign device. 'I don't know how to work any of this…' He thought dryly as he began tinkering with a few buttons. 'But if another Robin could do it, so can I,' He thought optimistically. There was a small version of this Robin's face and then he stuck his tongue out on the screen in front of him. Suddenly the glove on his arm began to heat up, and he had to rip it off and throw in into the jungle. It began to hiss as it short circuited and he narrowed his eyes at the device. 'What kind of a person is this Robin?' He asked in worry, thinking that if he had switched places with this Robin, then the other Robin must have taken his place with the Titans. He absolutely didn't want that kind of Robin being in charge of Jump City; or the Titans for that matter.

"Well, he's still recovering. It must have been damaged from the battle with Klarion," Kid Flash reasoned. "No big deal," he stated with a shrug as he placed his goggles over his head and tapped his costume in the middle, making it turn black. "I'll just do a quick sweep. They won't even know I'm there!" He yelled with a large grin as he disappeared.

Robin could feel the stares on him, and he knew that one of them was going to say something; he wasn't disappointed. "Robin," Super Boy said as he walked over to him. "This wasn't your fault," he stated, somewhat awkwardly. "You're having a bad day," he reasoned nervously.

"Thanks…Super Boy," Robin stated as Super Boy nodded. He began to walk over to Miss Martian who raised an eyebrow over at the young Kryptonian. He shrugged in reply as Aqualad glanced at Robin for a few seconds before looking ahead at the path.

"Alright, there's Sportsmaster in the Northeast. But the Researches are in the East, so we better run!" Kid Flash yelled as he came back, out of breath slightly.

Artemis growled as she grabbed an arrow from her stash and placed in on the string, "He won't get away with this!" She yelled as she ran at her top speed deeper into the jungle.

Aqualad nodded, "Artemis is correct," he stated with such a calm tone, that Robin wondered if he even cared about the researcher's lives at all. If that were him, he would be infuriated with the enemies at the chance of the lives being possibly lost. The rest of the Team took off after the young archer as Kid Flash rose an eyebrow at Robin, who was running at the same pace as him.

"I'm surprised that you're not 'disappearing into the night' like you usually do," Kid Flash mused as he grinned.

"Why would I?" Robin asked off-handedly, which shocked Kid Flash. At that second, he knew that that wasn't what he was supposed to say, he then tried to correct himself. "It's bad teamwork, right?" He asked with a grin.

Kid Flash smirked, "Oh, so now you're a Team player, Rob?" He asked as he looked forward, "Man, that shock must have rustled your jimmies," he stated as he shook his head slightly in disbelief.

When the Titans arrived at the scene, Dr. Light was already tied up in one of Robin's gadgets. They looked in amazement as they looked between Robin and the criminal in disbelief.

"What took you guys so long?" Robin asked with a cocky smirk as he crossed his arms.

"Dude…" Beast Boy drawled out as his eyes widened, "You…Took on Dr. Light…By yourself?" He asked as he pointed at the boy wonder.

Robin's smirk grew even bigger, if that were possible, "What, that guy?" He asked as he pointed his thumb lazily at the villain. "He's yesterday's news. What's next?" He asked as he walked closer to the Titans. That's when Cyborg walked out with a stern expression.

"I don't know how it is where you come from, but here we do things as a team!" Cyborg yelled out with a glared.

"Hey!" Robin yelled back, not letting his short fused anger show, "I'm on a Team where I'm from!" He argued as he put his arms to his sides, fisting them in rage.

Cyborg scoffed, "And do you leave your team behind?" He asked rhetorically as he could see Robin's teeth start to grind. "Because that's not much of a team!"

Robin took a few steps towards him, "My Team can accomplish what you can do in a week in a day!" He retorted, and he could see the Cyborg's body stiffen in anger.

"Oh really? Then why don't you go back to them! Because we don't need all this ego from you!" Cyborg yelled as he had finally lost all the composure holding him back.

"Friends?" Starfire asked weakly, "Please, I do not wish to see you fight!" She yelled as she placed her hands together in front of her, in a pleading fashion.

"You tell him, Cy! We don't need him!" Beast Boy yelled as he glared at Robin.

Robin chuckled darkly, "Why did I even believe that you dimwitted poor excuses for heroes would even help me?" He asked as he smirked sinisterly, "You can't even catch a single villain on your own!"

Cyborg fisted his robotic hands as he took a step, almost in Robin's face, "You want to say that again, you prepubescent kid!?"

"Tell him, Cy!" Beast Boy roared.

"Dr. Light escaped," Raven stated, but above all the arguing that was happening, she was ignored.

Robin smirk grew bigger, "Gladly. You can't even catch a single villain on your own!" He yelled and Beast Boy cracked his knuckles.

Cyborg glared, "Oh, that's what I thought you said!" He yelled as he charged up a sonic cannon.

"I'd like to see you even land a hit! You wouldn't stand a chance against me!" Robin challenged as he took out three discs from his utility belt and held them in his hands threateningly.

"Yeah? What about two on one?" Beast Boy yelled as he took a few steps to match Cyborg. "You wouldn't be able to last a minute!"

Robin cackled darkly, "Wouldn't even make a difference!" He argued as his body posture began to grow dangerous, as if poised for a fight.

Raven's nerves had exceeded her limit as she took a step forward, "Enough!" She yelled as black energy formed around the three Titans, pushing them back from each other forcefully. "The enemy has escaped. This isn't the time for bickering," she stated as she looked between the three of them.

Robin sighed as he stood up, "Sorry," he stated in a mature voice. The rest of the Titans gawked at him in shock and amazement. This kid, the one who was about to fight them just for the sake of showing whom was better, was now apologizing? "This is not whelming…This entire situation is…Different," Robin admitted as he let out a small grin.

"We're sorry too," Cyborg said as he put a hand to his neck. "We don't have a leader, and we feel that our team is falling apart."

Robin nodded, "I can't be the leader you used to have…" He trailed as he shook his head, "But…I guess I can try to be the one you need."

Beast Boy grinned, "Did you just quote Batman?" He asked as his grin grew bigger.

"Now is not the time," Raven stated.

"We must search for Dr. Light!" Starfire yelled as she took a step forward.

Robin nodded with a cheeky grin, "Way ahead of you!" He yelled as he brought his arm forward and looked down at it in disappointment. "Or not…I keep forgetting that I don't have my holo-glove," he stated dryly.

Cyborg, knowing he had to formulate a plan, glanced at the sun and saw it was setting, "Since there's five of us, we need to split up. If one of us sees Dr. Light, we will alert each other," he stated as he looked back at Robin, "Is that understood?"

"Completely," Robin said as he did a mock solute with his hand. "We'll do this your way this time," he stated, and Cyborg's jaw would have dropped in shock at the kid doing a complete 180 with his attitude, unlike his own Robin, who would have argued about being right all the time. "I'll take the East!" Robin yelled as the Titans all turned to look at the boy wonder, only to find him gone.

"Alright, let's get moving! Titans, go!" Cyborg yelled as they had all taken off in different directions.

"Well…" Sportsmaster trailed as he sneered at the researchers from behind his mask. "Looks like you won't be investigating any further," he stated as his henchmen started to creep towards the men in cargo pants and safari hats. "Looks like this is the end," Sportsmaster said ominously as he crossed his arms.

A bat-a-rang moved throughout the area, making the henchmen trip over it and halted their pursuits. The henchmen landed on the jungle ground with a clang as the bat-a-rang circled back to its thrower as a young arm reached up and grabbed it out of the air and placed it down to his side. He glared as Sportsmaster glared at the young boy wonder.

"Ah…What a completely predictable interruption," Sportsmaster said sarcastically as he pulled out a trigger from his pocket and was about to press it, when a flash of yellow appeared and it disappeared as he aggressively pressed down his button. If he was shocked, he was hiding his surprise well as he looked to where Kid Flash was standing; his back lazily against a tree as he spun the trigger on his finger.

"Bet you weren't expecting that, huh?" Kid Flash taunted with a grin on his face.

Sportsmaster smirked, "Extremely predictable," he stated as the trigger in his hands started to blink rapidly, making the young speedster's eyes widen in surprise.

A green arrow came out of the trees and smashed the button against the tree as it was about to ignite and make Kid Flash a pile of ashes. Artemis did a flip as she landed on her feet, her bow armed with another arrow as she glared murderously up at the man. "Enough of your games," she growled out. "The researchers have been taken to a safe place," she stated as a smirk appeared on her face, "You've lost," she hissed out as she took a few cautious steps closer.

"I assumed as much," Sportsmaster stated as he glanced slowly to where the researchers were and found them gone. "The Martian…Most likely," he stated as he glanced back to the young archer who glared harder at the man. "I came here for nothing," Sportsmaster stated as the Team hadn't even noticed that there was a helicopter above the man. "Looks like I'll take my leave," he stated as a rope ladder was lowered and he grabbed it with his right hand without even looking.

Before the rest of the Team would react, Robin darted out and grabbed hold of the rope ladder at the last moment, "No you won't!" He yelled as the helicopter began to leave.

"Robin!" Aqualad yelled in disbelief as he watched the youngest member of the Team head after the villain alone.

"What the…" Kid Flash yelled as he ran to the middle of the jungle clearing as he looked up as Robin began climbing the ladder. "What is Rob thinking?!"

Artemis growled as she shot outa grappling hook arrow on her bow, and Aqualad began to put his hand out to stop her. "Artemis!" He protested but she had already shot it and was lifted up onto the ladder as well as Robin.

To be continued...

A/N: Artemis won't let anyone take down her father except her. Ho ho ho. I will try and update next week if possible.
