Beca pushed her way through the crowd, feeling people's elbows and shoulders bump into her body as they danced carelessly. With the way that the points of contact instantly ached, the brunette was certain that she'd have bruises marking her body by time daylight rolled around. It didn't really matter in the end, all she could focus on in that moment was finding Chloe and ensuring that the red head didn't get into too much trouble while on her jiggle juice induced rampage. Eventually she bumped into the woman, smiling as Chloe turned and flung her arms around her neck.

"Look who decided to come and play," Chloe teased before moving in and giving a gentle peck to Beca's lips. She'd been hoping that the woman would chase after her, wanting to know that this wasn't all in her vodka soaked brain. "I Just Want To Make You Sweat" by David Guetta and Snoop Dogg blasted from the stereo and as the older woman looked around she laughed because if this were indoors she might as well have called it a strip club. Her hand slipped down from the brunette's waist to her ass, squeezing it playfully before leaning forward and nipping at Beca's bottom lip.

They danced all night, jostling around as students from all over evacuated their dorms to make the initiation night a all out campus party. By time they'd managed to escape from the crowd and their friends had decided to call it quits, Chloe had drunk more than Beca had thought a human possibly could. Acting as the woman's crutch, the brunette assisted her in getting back to the room that she shared with Aubrey however it didn't appear as though the blonde had come home after all. Dropping the ginger onto the bed, Beca took a few deep breaths as her vision became spotty. It was a sure sign that she'd overdone it tonight.

"Are you alright Beca?" Chloe asked with a small frown. She may have been drunk but there was no possible way she could ignore the way that Beca's face became paper white and her hands began shaking like crazy. Her head tilted to the sides as she reached out to take the woman's hands in her own in an effort to still them. It worked, but only when their fingers became intertwined. Their eyes met and Chloe gave the icy blue eyed beauty a reassuring squeeze before smiling. "You're gonna be okay right?"

"Yeah I'm just a bit dizzy. Think that I probably partied too hard," Beca spoke before giving a weak laugh and licking her lips. "I'll see you tomorrow," she spoke but the brunette didn't move, not quite ready to let go of the woman before her. The ginger simply shook her head with a small smile before pulling Beca close to her. It was in that moment that the musician knew there was no point arguing with her co-captain because with a smile like that and eyes as deep and as blue as the ocean, there was no way that she ever had a chance of resisting Chloe's wishes.

"Stay with me?" Chloe asked softly. It wasn't weak or vulnerable but it still caused Beca's heart to ache because as much as she knew that she shouldn't be here in case Aubrey comes home early, she really didn't have any intentions of the leaving the strawberry blonde to deal with her hangover alone. Beca nodded before stripping down to her underwear, not wanting to sleep surrounded by the stench of someone else's cigarettes and body odour. As soon as she was ready she laid down beside the tanned woman. "You're freezing cold! You're going to catch your death, coming here!"

Beca really wasn't given much of a choice because a few moments later the red head was pulling her into her arms and nuzzling her face into the petite woman's collarbone, pressing gentle kisses to it. The older Bella grew concerned as she backed up and pressed the brunette's head against her chest. Even as they lay like this she could feel the woman's ribs pressing against her through her flesh. The musician seemed so small and frail for someone who was meant to be twenty years old. She'd bring it up with the woman in the morning, for now Chloe simply wanted to enjoy her crushes company. After a few moments a soft snore escaped the younger woman's lips and a drunken smile spread across her own, she'd never had a moment as perfect as this.

That was when Chloe knew she was already in too deep.

Beca's awake long before Chloe and after running her fingers through the woman's hair for a while she gets up without waking her and begins examining the remnants of last night's adventures. Her torso is marked with bruises varying from a soft yellow all the way through blue, purple and black. Her eyes linger on her scar, wondering how much longer she can keep something like this from Chloe. It was only a matter of time before they ended up naked together and it wasn't like she could pass it off as some cool story or something like that. No. The line was neat and straight, a clear surgeon's mark.

"You look like you've gone twelve rounds with the Hulk," Chloe spoke softly as concern flooded her. She hadn't realized that Beca bruised so easily or that she'd been hit so many times. The petite brunette's body looked like the more gruesome version of a pre-schooler's finger painting exercise. She watched as Beca slipped back into bed, pulling the covers over herself. A weak smile spread across her face as the woman's fingers slipped over her ribs, fitting almost perfectly between the spaces. "You know, none of us care about your body size. Look at Fat Amy and Cynthia. They're on the heavier side and we still love them. I think you're beautiful but I'll still think you're beautiful if you put on some weight okay? You don't need to do anything drastic to stay like this".

A small laugh escaped Beca. Chloe couldn't have been more wrong but it touched her that the ginger cared enough to bring up the topic rather than skate around it nervously. The brunette shook her head before letting a small sigh escape her lips. "I'm not starving myself or making myself sick Chlo. This is just how I am. I'm always skinny". It was a blatant lie. Beca had never been much bigger than she was before not but she'd definitely never been this bad before. The brunette was just glad that her hair had grown back to a decent length before she'd been approved to join Barden. She was terrified as she looked into Chloe's begging orbs, wishing she knew how to word what she wanted to confess.

Her greatest fear was that once Chloe found out, she'd run the opposite way when she realized how fragile and incomplete Beca really was.

"But it's not Beca. I know that, you know that. I'm not, I'm not saying you need to tell me right now but I think, soon okay?" Chloe spoke softly and her tone was pleading with Beca to just put her mind at ease because seriously, what was the worst that she could tell her? Leaning forward, the ginger kissed the brunette gently, their kiss filled with passion but moving slow as they savoured every moment of the connection before simply laying in the dark and listening to the sound of each other breathing.

Eventually Beca left to go to her shift at the station. She'd been enjoying the work she did there. Her role wasn't as physical as Jesse's thanks to her discussion with Luke but it allowed her to hear some new and different music. When the brunette arrived at the station she instantly spotted the hungover version of the man from last night who seemed to be burying himself in a kebab as he sat beside Luke who had just begun slicing up a mango.

"Hey Luke," she greeted as she bounced into the room, carefully lowering her bag to the ground as she ignored Jesse, not wanting to further encourage his little crush. That didn't stop her from noticing the way he looked her over though and it instantly turned the woman's stomach. The man was in a desperate need of a shower and some clean clothes as Beca could still smell last night's keg stand and cheap cigar wafting from him. "Please tell me that Mr. Human Garbage Dump will be alleviating us of his presence soon," she spoke before sitting on the other side of Luke, attempting to get as far away from the man as possible.

"Yes the nauseous and pungent Jesse boy will be leaving soon. He has a few more crates to sort and then he can go and request a prison hosing from his fraternity brothers. Let's just hope that they approve his requestion," the British man spoke before wriggling his nose and pulling up the station's iTunes account to show the latest figures to Beca, ignoring the way that Jesse glared at them bother.

"Guys, I'm right here," he protested defensively.

"We know," the two DJ's replied in unison, causing the young man to get up and leave, slamming the door behind him. Luke and Beca took one look at each other before shrugging and returning to the task at hand. Overnight one of Beca's mixes had been streamed at the campus party and had gone off. So far it had over four thousand downloads. The pair of them stared wide eyed at the figure, mentally calculating the profit. "Fuck," the spoke in unison again. Anyone who didn't know them would probably think that they'd known each other for years instead of a few months. Beca had met Luke at the hospital when he'd broken his wrist.

"I'm buying you a coffee," he spoke softly before getting up with a proud smile. The pair of them had an agreement. If anything she'd mixed when viral then they'd split the profits straight down the middle. It only seemed fair to her seeing as this was his station and he was working damn hard to keep it open even though it was a campus service. "You have no idea what this means to me Beca," he spoke before wrapping his arms around the woman and hugging her tightly, unable to express his gratitude in any other way.

"Sure I do. Means you get to spend more time with Andrew Jin," she teased before smiling. Luke was dating her roommate's brother, meaning that any time the couple visited, she got to spend time with her friend. She rubbed her eyes for a moment. Even though she'd gotten a decent, heavy few hours sleep, she was still relatively tired. Without looking, Beca knew that Luke was watching her. "Stop looking at me like that. I'm not a delicate little flower. I'm a Mitchell and we party fucking hard".

Chloe couldn't shake the concern that had plagued her mind since she'd seen the hideous bruises marring the beautiful porcelain skin of Beca's body. She sat beside Aubrey at the campus bar but every few moments she'd zone out, focused more on the woman's step-sister than what she had to say about Todd and his skills in the bedroom.

"Seriously what's bugging you because you keep giving me this vacant stare instead of answers," Aubrey spoke and it didn't take her more than two seconds to know what the red head was about to say. She'd run into Beca earlier and spotted the bruises. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't worried but the pale woman had always been covered in bruises, even before she'd gotten sick. Still she didn't push the topic, waiting for Chloe to come up with something all on her own and hoping she took it to Beca sooner rather than later.

"It's just, have you ever noticed how skinny Beca is? I mean, it's like she's a sheet draped over a skeleton instead of an actual person and Brey there were so many bruises all over her from the crowd last night. I'm actually really worried about her," Chloe started and the moment that the flicker of concern passed over Aubrey's face she knew that the woman knew why. Frustration spread through her chest. "Tell me! I know that you know Aubrey Posen! Why am I in the fucking dark? I need to know. I'm scared shitless that she's just gonna dissipate into thin air," Chloe yelled at the woman, drawing the attention of some of the other acapella involved students who were sitting at the bar.

"It's not my place to tell you Chloe. I'm sorry," Aubrey spoke softly as she stared down at her phone, doing everything she could to avoid meeting the ginger's gaze. She didn't want to keep the woman at arm's length like this but it was between Beca and her. There wasn't enough alcohol in the world that could convince the blonde woman that it was worth breaking her silence and getting in the middle of it. Instead she simply sat and stared at her phone as Chloe stormed off, heart aching with regret.
