"Why would we want a tree in the house?" Mike asked
The last few months had been wired, first everyone was going crazy about 'school' something Mike couldn't go to, and as far as he was concerned was an evil place that took his first friend away from him and then sent her home with work (why give her work to do at home you just had her for seven hours), then there was 'Hollow Ween' witch was when people put strange 'scary' decorations in their lawns then walked around asking for candy, and people actually gave it to them! Then 'Thanksgiving', that was Mike's favorite and least favorite, he liked the food and he liked some of the family, but he hated that whenever he wasn't in the room people would talk about him. Now they had something called 'Christmas' where the family went crazy with lights and strange music and 'Christmas Cheer'. Now they wanted to bring a tree in to the house a tree! He couldn't, for the life of him, understand why anyone would want to have a tree in their house, and that is why he asked the ever logical Gray.
"to decorate, also it makes the house smell good, and it's a good place to put presents" she pulled on her boots as she said this, after all it would be cold at the Christmas tree lot, "I think your boots are on the wrong feet" Mike looked down but he was unable to tell what she was talking about. "Why would we decorate a tree, don't you think we have enough lights in the house" Mason tied his scarf "there's no such thing as enough lights" he stated, he was awarded with nods of agreement. Mike rolled his eyes "and I'm the crazy one"

The tree was up and covered with lights and other decorations, "All of this happiness and cheer is starting to make me feel sick" Mal complained
"Really?" Mike asked "for me it's just confusing"
"Svetlana is very much loving this holiday" Svetlana cheered, Mike could almost feel her dancing around in his head. "All that music is giving me a headache" Chester complained
"How can you hate that music! The songs is very happy!" Svetlana asked, neglecting proper grammar "that's why we hate it" Mal responded. This minor disagreement sparked a full fight, Mike tried to stop them but they were too far in for even the understanding Svetlana to listen to him. Mike let out a soft sigh
"Something wrong?"
Mike jumped sacred for a second that someone would hit him for talking to himself, but no, no one hit him here, it was just Bella "Nothing, the others are just giving me a headache" Bella smiled slightly "I get that, I have the worst migraines"
"Really?" Mike asked
"No" Kay replied for Bella "she's a compulsive liar" she dropped the box she was carrying "Bell could you take that down while I talk to Mike" Bella rolled her eyes and picked up the box leaving Mike with his sister Kay during one of the rare moments that she decided to act like a big sister.
"What do you need?"
"I don't understand Christmas"

"So God has a kid so we can go to heaven, so we celebrate that by putting lights all over the place and letting a fat guy in a red suit into our house so he can give us presents" Mike asked
"Ya"
"That is the stupidest thing that I have ever heard" Mal commented
"Ungrateful little punk, in my day we didn't have fancy holly-days we did the same thing every day, and if you tried to do something different you were put in jail" Chester complained
"Xat is very sad" Svetlana said
"Its bullshit Svet he's not old"
Mike huffed softly trying to sort this out, nope he didn't get it.
