Winter, a test subject crosses paths with the Doctor and they share one common enemy. The doctor has his wits and Winter has her powers together they fight the Alumbs, which want Winter for her powers

4. Not in Control

Chapter 3

"Good morning luv" The Doctor chimed as she found him, hunched over some old book. " I've been reading about power control." She nodded slowly " I think I know how to help you" "Really!" she chimed happily.

"First thing first, I want you to suspend this book in the air" He lifted the book in the air. "C'mon you can do this" She sighed " NO I can't" She lifted her hands, using her electrical power, she held the book in the air for a few short seconds.

The book fell to the floor with a thud. The Doctor smiled in approval. He lifted the book once again . She held her hands up. Using her electrical powers once more, she lifted the book . The Doctor let go of the book and watched carefully as she used her hands. The book wobbled slightly and The Doctor tried to calm her so she would not get nervous. Eventually, she let go of the book and it fell to the floor.

" Good job! But… don't you have more powers than that. Maybe you should try them" She looked at The Doctor and sighed " You're right" She swiped her hand to the left and knocked book off a shelf. The doctor lifted the book, 'Try it again"

She suspended the books in the air with nothing but her hands and her mind. The Doctor smiled " Yes! Yes! YESYESYES!! FANTASTIC!" He celebrated.

She lifted a pillow in the air and slung it around the room. She watched The Doctor fiddle with a control panel and tell her to hold on. Once violent shaking stopped, they left the TARDIS. She followed him outside. They were on a mountaintop. The both sat down and watched te skyline.

" Beautiful" The Doctor smiled. He lifted a small leaf of the ground and held it out to Winter. " Disintegrate it" He commanded She whacked him on the head. " I am not a circus monkey." She said, " and besides I am tired. All of the powers tired me out"

Winter jumped up " I am going for a walk" The Doctor looked at her "Are you sure?" Winter sighed " Yes I will be fine" She dusted off her pants which she had received from the TARDIS. Winter liked the TARDIS..

She walked sucking in the fresh air. It was cool and smell of nature. She was lost in thought, when she realized she should probably make her way back to the TARDIS.

"FREEZE #3078" She screamed "DOCTOR!!!!!!" It was the Alumbs, ready to take her back into captivity.
