Hello and welcome to chapter 4! i was not originally going to write-well, type anyway- this weekend since it's MY B-DAY WEEKEND! YAY! but, the plans on saturday and sunday have been cancelled due to a broken down car and a huge project my cousin must do (i blame school) so i now have free time. chores are already out of the way and the clock ticks down as tuesday, my birthday, gets closer and closer every second. but enough of me, let's get back to the gang!
Alexia couldn't believe what she was seeing. Turbo, cocky ex-hero of Turbo Time and ex-ruler of Sugar Rush was standing right in front of me, not cybuggified or candified. he was just him ... and not that bad looking at all. he looked better in real life, less creepy, but that may be due to him not smiling evilly at her at this moment. Turbo was supposed to have been dead, burned to a crisp by the boiling soda of Diet Cola Mountain, but instead here he is saving her life- WAIT HE SAVED HER?! i thought he was evil!
so many thoughts ran through Alexia's head, making her stare with her mouth wide-open, creeping out the small racer. he bent down to her level on the floor and waved his hand over her face. "hello, anybody home? come back to Sugar Rush!" he kept waving, making Alexia stare at him. "oh, sorry. i just uh .. i really wanted to meet a racer!" she said with a fake smile, staring at him. "oh, really?" he squinted at her, Alexia nodding at this. "well, then you're looking at the best of the best! Turbo at your service." he bowed at that." just don't tell anyone you saw me. don't want the paparazzi after me!" he said proudly, but adding a very low grumble of 'or the police'. "well, it's great to meet you. i'm Alexia and i understand how being a racer can be very, uh, difficult so i guess i'll just leave now." Alexia said as she began to turn around and walk away.
"WAIT!" Alexia cringed as Turbo called out for her and she turned around with a fake smile plastered on her face, trying her best to hide her nerves that were building up within her. "Are you a new racer or something?" he asked as he got up and looked up at her in curiousity. aw, he actually looks cute there ... WHAT DID I JUST THINK?! Alexia thought before answering him. "Oh no, i'm new in the arcade. but not in racing. i was just visiting cause i do have a love for racing and i came over to check the place out." Alexia explained, putting her hand on her hip. wow, she seems pretty cute ... WHAT DID I JUST THINK TURBO! SNAP OUT OF IT! Turbo thought as he observed her shift in movement when putting her hands to her hip and slightly swaying in the process. "well, why don't i show you where we can make go-karts and then you can show me some of your skills." Turbo said with a smirk on his face. "really?! well then, lead the way so i can show you what i got." Alexia replied with another smirk. The two exit to create Alexia's cart.
Meanwhile...
The other 5 came back to Game Central to meet up with each other, but noticed that a certain orange-haired girl was missing. "where is Alex? she was supposed to meet us here." Gwen replied with arms crossed, but in an ok mood. "I don't know. what's taking her so long?" Daria. "she should've been here by-" "OH TERA! I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE SAFE! you don't have any bruises or injuries? ANYTHING? OH TERA!" Daria and Gwendolyn turn to see Bellatrix squeezing the life out of Teralyn, who was beginning to turn blue. "i-i'm fi-ine. Just h-hurt m-my ankle, b-but it's b-bette-er now. please l-let g-go." Teralyn sputtered out under lack of air, which Bella let her go and apologized. "sorry, i was just worried about yuo! you see, i bumped into Bowser Jr. and-" "Wait Up A Sec! you saw Bowser Jr.? he didn't find out did he?" Gwen trudged over to Bella, giving her a deadly glare while she spoke.
"we-welll you see ... he saw us when we were inside the arcade along with koopa while they were racing and wheni entered their game they just so happened to see me and recognized me, so they know about us. they said they wouldn't tell though as long as we keep in touch with them every once in a while." Bella replied in one big breath. "why do they want us to keep in touch with them?" Eden asked. "well, they told me that since we are from the human world, we are still humans here so if we get hurt, then we will still experience the pain and if we die that we won't respawn ... at all." everyone gasped as they heard Bellatrix say this, now knowing just how much they are risking. "well, then we gotta find Alex to make sure she's safe!" Teralyn said as they all agreed. "TO SUGARRUSH!" Bella yelled as they ran
They had left to Sugar Rush already when a yellow-themed toad, scared to death and yelling like there's no tomorrow, can be seen running out of Call of Duty being followed by 10-20 Cybugs. A dark figure got in front of the cybugs and, catching their attention with his small beam of light in his hand, guide them to Sugar Rush.
At Sugar Rush ...
Alexia and Turbo had just finished her kart and were waiting for it to come out. When it did, a cherry-themed car drove itself turned to Alexia with his famous smirk and said "well, what do you think?" "what do i think? i think i ... LOVE IT! it's amazing! Thank you!" and she bent down to his level to give a hug before running to her car. Turbo was in a state of shock, never receiving that kind of affection before. he changed his smirk to a genuine grin as he saw her go crazy over her new car. Alexia hopped in and called Turbo over, snapping him out of his thoughts. "well, are you coming or what?" Alexia repleid as Turbo nodded and hopped in. Alexia turned on the ignition and slammed her foot on the gas petal. They zoomed out of there, Alexia dodging any obstacles and turning in such a perfect way, until they were outside on the game track, Alexia driving with an amazing speed. Turbo looked out and couldn't believe how good this girl was! she has a gift for racing! he looked up at her determined smile and immediately knew that this girl was interesting, not like anyone he has ever met before. They drove around until they were back at the Volcano of Soda.
"well, you are pretty good i give ya that. But you still wouldn't be able to beat me in a race." he stated as he hopped off the car. Alexia followed, replying "oh yeah?! then why don't we race sometime? i would love to kick your little cocky butt in a race." she exclaimed, but she his face go dark and gloomy, hiding in a shadow casted by his racing helmet. "i can't." he stated. Alexia forgot how he's hiding and can't race anymore without being caught and arrested in the "Fungeon" but since she had to pretend she didn't know crap, she asked him why. "that's something i'll tell you another day." he said. not wanting to push it anymore since she has actually made a friend out of this villain, she just replied with an ok. The depressing moment was interrupted by a huge explosion and screams fromthe distance, which Alexia and Turbo turned in fear. Alexia hopped in her car, ready to head over, but Turbo stopped her. "wait, where are you going?" he questioned her. "i'm going to see what's going on. someone may be in danger!" she said as she turned the ignition and started the car. "wait! let me go with you!" he said, knowing the risk he was taking by going over there. "i thought you said you were hiding or something? are you sure?" she said, which he nodded with determination and hopped in. The duo drove away to the commotion taking place.
A little before the Explosion ...
The 5 girls entered SugarRush just as the race to see who would compete in the next rounds during Arcade's opening. In the bleachers, you can see game characters of every game genre and position, from simple 8-bit heroes to graphically hideous villains. You can see Wreck-it Ralph, Fix-it Felix, and Sergeant Calhoun at the top row of a red-colored bleacher, followed by the various Mario characters hanging out in a blue-colored one and Sonic characters in a purple-colored one. There was also Tapper, Pac-Man and the Ghosts, Digging Dug, and other game characters gathered. "I guess the race here has turned into an international thing for the game characters." Bella whispered as they all walked through the crowd on the ground who were still looking for spots. Ralph noticed Eden in the crowd and called out to her. "Ed! hey come over." they were about to when they heard an explosion behind them followed by a swarm of cybugs.
