Dear Diary:
I think getting rid of that pig cost me more than keeping her did. Also, I think I've more reasons to hate humans- well, some of them, at any rate.
It started out as standard procedure. Intruders were caught falling through the lake, and they were brought before me so I could decide what to do with them. Turns out they were more trouble than they were worth.
Alright, maybe that's not quite accurate. They have their redeeming qualities, these fellows. Especially that girl. She really knows how to kiss. Also, she's more sensible than the boy, for the most part.
But the favors I had to grant to them! Weapons! Food! Supplies! A guide to Caer Dathyl! To say nothing of giving them back Hen Wen- whom they were loath to thank me for looking after, I might add. I had half a mind to throw them in my dungeons, or maybe turn them into bats. Fortunately for them, I'm a soft-hearted fellow. And at least it was for a good cause- the Sons of Don doubtless needed warning.
Now, I just have to wait until I hear back from Doli- if he survives the company of those clodpoles, that is.
So be it- at least if they fail, I can trust Doli to see their mission through.
Oh, and I need to figure out what that hairy thing was. I've been searching through all the lists of Prydain's creatures and I still don't have any clue as to his species.
