A/N: This poem is inspired by two things. #1: the olden days of Minecraft when you couldn't sleep through the night.(I never actually experienced it when Alpha was out, but I can now. THANK YOU MOJANG, FOR YOUR TIME MACHINE!) and #2: When I stayed up all night and slept most of the day. Not nice. I don't recommend it. Really messes up your day and you feel weird. But I hope you guys enjoy! Also, I fixed the line problem. Woot!

The stars, they taunt you, promising slumber
As the moon crosses the night sky, you can only wonder
Of the taste of a dream
Or the feeling inside
And other wonderful secrets the midnight doth hide

The sun has bid farewell, now taking a nap
While you wait for the day to set out with your map
To adventures, both small and grand
(For is this not a wondrous land?)

Insomnia! Oh, the curse of this world
Try to sleep staying curled
in a ball near the corner

And the torches that ward the mobs
Near the docks where a boat bobs
They save your life yet cause you strife
As you stay awake taking it like a knife

And the sunshine's bright beam
Wakes you up with its' gleam
As you revisit those long nights
Where you wished for a dream...

The bed so soft
And the scent of pork-chops doth waft
The only food that you could eat
When you were in the past

Some things about that old world were nice, it's true
But the slumber seems awfully precious to you.
