"You're who?" Chuck had never heard of Hugh.
"Hugh, what are you doing here? I thought you were with Daddy and Roman in Paris!" Blair bubbled with excitement.
"I was but then I went to Milan to get a new suit and then I remembered how much you love Milan and bought you a dress. Then I realised I missed you too much, squirt!" His words made Blair happier than anyone else. "Don't worry Serena, I got you one too."
"Do you remember where my suite is?" Blair asked.
"I've just come from there, squirt." He grabbed the two girls and began walking. He stopped after a couple of paces. He turned towards the boys. "Whichever one of you boys wanted to do what you were insinuating about Blair, remember that Hugh Waldorf is sticking around." He turned on his heels and picked the two girls up and lifted them onto his shoulders.
"Carter, you're in deep trouble now." Chuck smirked.
"So is that her cousin or…?" Carter was very confused.
"That's Hugh Waldorf." Nate said appearing from behind the gates.
"And he is…?" Carter looked for an explanation.
"Oh that's-" Nate got cut off by everyone in the courtyard and outside the schools phones beeping.
Is that Big Brother Waldorf I see carrying our Queen to her building? And who's that Leggy blonde? Watch out N or BBW might steal S.

"Her big brother." Nate finished.
Chuck and Nate's phones buzzed with an invitation to a dinner party at Blair's. Close friends are the only ones invited. The two leave Carter and ready themselves for the dinner party.
"You have to wear the dresses I bought you both." Hugh was lying on Blair's bed flicking through the Vogue that was left on Blair's nightstand.
"They're so beautiful but I wanted to save it for Cotillion." Blair said.
Serena agreed with Blair.
Hugh's heart took flight. "That means so much! I know how much Cotillion means to you two."
The girls jumped on the bed to give him a hug.
"I've missed you, Hugh!" Blair squeezes into him and he kisses the top of her head.
"I've missed you too, squirt!" Hugh rubs her arm and then realises Serena has been left out. "Don't think I didn't miss you too! You're like a second sister to me!" He smiles at her and she smiles back.
"So, go get dressed you two! Or are you going to go in your dressing gowns?" He winked and they went into Blair's wardrobe searching for the perfect dresses.
Blair pulled out a blue dress. "Hugh, don't you think S will look stunning in this?!"
Serena was in awe over this dress. She slipped it on and it clung to every curve and it made her legs go on forever. The halter neckline accentuated everything and it was short so really down Serena's street. Serena found a tube black dress with white triangles and curves from it. Blair knew it was a killer outfit and it was perfect for tonight's event. The girls stood into their shoes and time had flown by. Their guests were arriving and Hugh had somehow changed into a suit unnoticed.
"Hey man." Nat went up to Hugh for a man hug.
"Nate, I honestly didn't expect to see you here." Hugh looked in disbelief then gave Nate the hug he expected.
"I didn't expect an invitation from Blair either but I'm glad she can put everything behind us." Nate looked to Blair.
She rolled her eyes and ignored him.
"B, you invited Chuck?" Serena was looking at Chuck.
A black Armani suit fitted to make Chuck look his finest was perfect for the occasion and the suit had a white peony in the suit pocket. Blair's favourite.
"He's part of our social group, S. I didn't do it by choice." She said, lying through her teeth.
"Squirt, I don't like the idea of that guy being here." He motioned to Chuck and Blair smiled awkwardly.
"He's Bart Bass's son." Blair said, watching Hugh's face change in disbelief was priceless.
"Wow." Hugh was stunned.
"Miss Blair, dinner is ready." Dorota motioned for her to sit down.
Hugh pulled out the girls' chairs and they sat.
"I didn't realise you were the infamous Chuck Bass." Hugh started the conversation.
"I didn't realise Blair had a brother." Chuck drank his scotch but looked like he was straining.
"I didn't introduce myself earlier. I'm Hugh Waldorf, Blair's big brother." Hugh gave a flash of an award winning smile.
"So, what made you come and visit, Hugh?" Nate cut into the very awkward conversation of steely glances from Chuck and polite smiles from Hugh.
"Well, I missed my little sister, now didn't I?!" He looked at the genuine smile plastered across Blair's face and he wrinkles his nose at her.
"I missed you too Hugh!" He beamed back at her.
Serena coughed. "And you too, Serena!" He gave her a quick wink.
Chuck choked down a cough.
"I don't remember seeing you around here before." Chuck's steely glare saw straight through Hugh.
"I was sent away to boarding school." He was completely emotionless as he said it.
"And then he came back for his senior year at St Jude's and ruled the school totally and completely." Blair continued.
"I've never heard of you there." Chuck glanced briefly at Blair.
"He changed his name as he wanted to do well for himself without the help of the Waldorf name." Serena started.
"I personally don't understand it but whatever he wanted." Blair rolled her eyes with a sly smile.
Chuck stayed silent.
With the adequate amount of chat and gossip, dinner was soon over.
"Blair, I'd just like to thank you for your help and tell you that Victrola is opening in a week on Friday." Chuck waited for a response.
"You're welcome, Chuck." She gave a courteous smile and began to turn away.
"Goodbye Blair." He turned and walked away.
She turned when she heard his heels click against her floor. She watched him walk away. The way the suit stayed pristine, even when he walked, gave her a funny feeling.
"You okay, B?" Serena came straight to her side.
"I just have a small headache, I'll be fine." Blair tried to turn to Serena and stumbled on her heels.
Hugh appeared immediately and scooped her up in his arms. "Let's get you to bed now, Squirt." He nodded Nate a silent goodbye as he rushed his baby sister to bed.
Nate held his arms out for Serena. "Goodnight, Nate." She walked away.
"No goodbye hug?" Nate tried again.
She gave a sad smile. "Goodnight, Nate."
He watched her walk away and up the stairs.
As she felt his eyes fall from her, she then dared to wipe away the silent tears from her eyes. She just reminded herself why she was doing what she was. Blair.
