Hello! Sorry about the break, been writing different stories and trying to keep my grades up in school so my folks don't get mad(you guys know how it is). Any ways…. This chapter is gonna serve as the halloween special(it's somebody's birthday!).

Meet The Family Pt 1

Glynda's House, Saturday

Glynda Goodwitch woke up this morning to the sounds of multiple objects breaking, sighing she got out of her bed and opened the door to the rest of her house. What she saw was that Qrow was still asleep on the couch(She had been letting him sleep at her so that he can spend time with Jerry), a pair of industrial strength noise canceling headphones covering his ears(Jerry's she realised later on), Tom and Jerry were currently engaged in a full on war, both brothers throwing pots, pans, even cutlery at each other! Meanwhile Emerald was pouring a bowl of Pumpkin Pete's, sitting at the dinner table, which was apparently a mix between neutral territory/no man's land. Deciding that she had enough, Glynda activated her semblance, freezing both boys and the objects they had been throwing in mid flight, she then walked over to Emerald, "Could you explain to me why Tom and Jerry are fighting this early in the morning?" Glynda asked, more than a bit irritated at being woken so early.

Seeing that the huntress was not in a good mood, Emerald quickly explained what happened. "We woke up early to watch cartoons, after putting Jerry's headphones on Qrow so that we wouldn't wake him, we got into an argument about what to watch, Jerry wanted to watch The Nomad of Nowhere, While Tom wanted to watch Red vs Blue. Things escalated and the next thing I know Tom chased Jerry into the kitchen, and they began to throw pots and pans at each other."

Shaking her head Glynda then asked "and you did not join in this argument because?"

"I'm smart enough to realize that waking you up early is a bad idea." Emerald beamed, earning two scowls from her brothers. Glynda then walked over to the couch, took off the headphones on Qrow's head.

Qrow Branwen was soundly asleep, blissfully free of dreams which had often become nightmares, when he heard a voice calling his name. "Qrow~ Qrow~" The voice was feminine from what he could tell, and strangely pleasant, grunting he opened his eyes and saw Glynda standing over him. "Yes?" he groaned still somewhat asleep, only to grunt when he felt two different heavy objects fall on him. "Good morning." Was all the blonde woman said. "Morning Dad/Qrow!" hearing this Qrow realized that the two objects were actually Tom and Jerry, 'well that explains her mood' Qrow thought. Sifting himself to an upright position, Qrow looked to the two troublemakers "What was it this time?"

"We couldn't decide on what show to watch." Tom answered. Qrow nodded his head, understanding the eternal struggle of the sibling rivalry. Shaking his head, Qrow then asked a question that was really nagging him, "What's today's date?"

"Oct 30th" Emerald answered, not noticing the look of despair that quickly grew on Qrow, "What's wrong Qrow?" Glynda asked, more than a bit worried to see the veteran being frightened by anything. Qrow slumped as dark lines of gloom formed around. "I forgot to get Ruby a birthday gift." Glynda fell down in the classic anime style after hearing this.

"Who's Ruby?" Jerry asked, Glynda whirled on Qrow an angry glint in her eyes."You didn't tell them about Ruby and Yang?!" sweat dripping down his forehead Qrow quickly explained "Ruby and Yang are you cousins Tuffy(Five points to anyone who gets the reference), and tomorrow's Ruby's birthday." Hearing this Tom decided to butt in, "Wait so you have a sibling." Qrow nodded, Emerald joined in "Brother or sister?" Recalling Raven, Glynda answered "Twin sister." with more than a bit of venom, finally Jerry joined in " If you didn't get her a gift, why not just introduce her to us, after all doesn't everyone want friends?". Both adults were shocked at the young boy's simple logic, but Qrow couldn't deny that his son had a point. Standing up Qrow turned to the three children "Alright, who wants to go raise hell for uncle Tai?"

The next day….

Taiyang Xiao Long was stressed out, it had taken him all day to get every last detail of his youngest daughters party perfect, the cookies had a 1:2 chocolate chip ratio, the (cookie)cake was baked and cooling, finally he had both of his daughters costumes for trick or treating ready. He was distracted from his rest when he heard someone knocking on the front door. Taiyang got up and opened it to find his (former) brother in law Qrow outside, "Hey Tai, thought I would come early, also I brought my kids."

"Sure Qrow come on in." Taiyang replied, watching as qrow came in and was followed by two faunus boys and a little girl. It was only then that his mind replayed the last part of Qrows sentence. "Wait Whaaat?!"

I'm ending it here for now, sorry for taking so long. Part two should be done in two weeks(late entry I know). Have a great Halloween and enjoy Volume 6!
