Hello once again everyone. No one guessed who the sensei would be for team 7, quite a bummer really I was hoping for at least someone to try and guess. Anyways, this chapter will have a small part for Naruto and Gaia (I ain't the greatest with writing out dating or love scenes so please bear with it), the team's placements and maybe the start of the bell test.
It had been two days since Naruto had passed the academy exams. It had spent the last two days Showing Gaia and her siblings around Konoha and introducing the three Suna ninja to his three friends. What time Gaia wasn't spending with Naruto, she was spending with Ino, Satsuki, and Hinata doing what she described as girl stuff. Every time he asked her about it, she would always say that he would find out when the time was right. The next day was the day Naruto would meet his teammates and sensei but at the moment, he had other things on his mind.
Currently, Naruto was walking down the streets to the Sarutobi compound that Hiruzen had let Gaia and her family stay at along with him. Naruto was dressed in a white button up shirt, a nice pair of black pants, black shoes, and a black jacket with an orange Uzumaki swirl near the wrist of both sleeves. He had spent hours the day before with the sandaime trying to find an outfit that the elderly hokage deemed appropriate for the occasion.
As he entered the compound and headed for the house that the Sabaku family was staying in, he took a couple of deep breaths to try and calm himself. He would be lying if he said he had never thought about his current situation before. Ever since Naruto and Gaia had met in Suna that day ten years ago, the two had formed a close bond. The two always smiled around each other and could always brighten up the other's day when they met or received letters from one another.
Naruto always felt certain feelings when it had anything to do with Gaia. He knew what love was from the talks that his jiji had with him over the years. He felt love from a lot of people, the Ichiraku duo, Hiruzen-jiji and Konohamaru, Mikoto, and even some of the anbu guards that were assigned to protect him when he was younger. He wasn't sure if the feeling he had was love or not, but he knew he felt something for the red haired girl. As he approached the house, he took one final calming breath before knocking on the door. A few moments passed and the door was finally opened to reveal Rasa standing on the other side.
"Good evening Naruto, please come in. Gaia-chain will be down shortly, she is just finishing getting ready." Rasa said as he closed the door behind the blond.
"Good evening to you as well Rasa." Naruto said he bowed slightly to the man only to be bopped on the head.
"I have told you not to do that Naruto unless we are in the presence of others." Rasa said getting a nod from the blond. "Now before you and Gaia-chan leave for your date this evening, I just want to say one thing. My wife and I were close friends with your parents Naruto and I told your father that if anything ever happened to them I would do anything I could to help and protect you. However if I find out that you hurt Gaia in anyway, no one will ever find your body." Rasa finished with a glare.
Naruto started to speak but didn't get the chance to as Temari spoke up coming down the stairs. "I'm pretty sure Naruto would win tou-san. He does have four tailed beasts sealed inside him after all. Besides, do you honestly think he would hurt Gaia? Those two are the happiest when they are around each other."
"I understand that Temari, but I don't want to see any of my children hurt in any way. Just keep her safe Naruto, that is all I ask." Rasa said as they heard footsteps coming down the stairs.
Naruto looked to the top of the stairs to see what he could only describe as an angel walking down the stairs. Her red locks flowed down past her shoulders and curled slightly as it neared her waist. She had on a black single sleeve dress that covered her right arm and reached to her knees with a slit going up her left leg and stopping just above the knee while showing just a small part of the top of her chest. She had on a pair of black four inch heels and finished off the look with just a bit of makeup.
As Gaia reached the bottom, she blushed not only because Naruto was staring at her, but also to how he looked. "Compliment her baka." Temari whispered to her fellow blond as she slightly shoved him forward.
"You look beautiful this even my suna-tenshi." Naruto said as he took her hand and kissed the back of it causing the red head to blush even more. (Pretty sure suna-tenshi is sand angel. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.)
"Th..thank you Naruto-kun. You look handsome as well." Gaia said stuttering at first. The only people who had ever called her beautiful before were her family members. Hearing the blond call her beautiful caused her to get warm inside and the feeling she often had when Naruto was around to return.
"Shall we be on our way then?" Naruto asked as he held out his arm for her to take. After she took his arm, he opened the door and led them out.
"Don't keep her out too late Naruto!" Rasa yelled from the doorway before closing it as the two made their way out of the compound.

The two genin walked down the streets of Konoha as most of the shops were closing up and people were heading home. The two were both nervous and neither knew what to say to the other so they walked enjoying the silence. Naruto led Gaia to The Golden Leaf, a restaurant that Hiruzen had gotten Naruto some reservations for. Arriving at the restaurant, Naruto held the door open for his date and walked in behind her. Walking up to the man standing behind the wooden podium, Naruto let a small smile at seeing a friend.
"Good evening and welcome to The Golden Leaf." The man said with a smile on his face as he looked at the two young ninja in front of him.
"Good evening Shingi-san, I didn't think you would be out here working seeing as how you own this place." Naruto replied.
"When Hiruzen came and asked for the reservations I decided to be the one to be out here tonight. Who's your friend Naruto-kun?" the now named Shingi asked.
"This is Gaia-chan, my date for the evening. Gaia-chan, this is Shingi-san, an old friend of jiji's." Naruto introduced the two as they bowed their heads at one another before Shingi picked up two menus.
"If you both would follow me please." Shingi said as led the two to the second floor. He walked over to a table that was sitting in the back corner near an open window allowing a gentle, warm breeze to blow through and was away from most of the other customers.
Naruto pulled Gaia's seat out for her as she sat down before slightly pushing her in before taking his own seat. Shingi handed them both a menu before he left to check on other customers while they chose what they wanted. After about five minutes, Shingi walked back over to the two.
"So what would you like to order tonight?" Shingi asked with a smile.
Gaia was the first to answer as she looked up to elderly man. "I would like the miso pollock with brown rice and a spring onion and cucumber salad please."
"Alright, and what about you Naruto-kun?" the man asked as he finished writing down Gaia's order.
"I would like the soy tuna with wasabi mash and brown rice please." Naruto said as the two handed their menus back.
"And what would you like to drink?"
Gaia looked to Naruto and slightly shrugged her shoulders. "We'll take a bottle of mirin please Shingi-san."
"Of course Naruto-kun, I will be back with your food and drinks shortly." Shingi said as he bowed and left.
As Shingi left, a silence fell over the two as each tried to find something to talk about. After a silent minute or two, Gaia spoke up. "Naruto-kun, can I ask you a question?" Gaia asked as she fidgeted with her fingers a bit.
"Of course Gaia-chan." Naruto replied with a smile noticing the girl's uneasiness.
"I know you want to rebuild your clan one day and I am aware of what that means. I understand that you would need more than one wife to rebuild your clan and I don't plan on stopping you from doing that. I was just wandering if I could have a say in the other girls that will be your wives one day? I just don't want someone to get near you that just wants to use you in some way." Gaia said looking at the blond.
Naruto smiled at the red haired beauty as he reached over and took one of her hands in his and rubbed his thumb across the back of her hand. "I don't mind at all Gaia-chan. They will have to get along with you just as well as they will with me." Naruto replied as Shingi walked over with their orders.
"Here is your food Naruto-kun, Gaia-chan." Shingi said as he placed the food and drinks on the table. "Do you need anything else?"
"No, that will be all for now. Thank you Shingi-san." Naruto replied as the older man bowed before leaving the two to enjoy their meal and time together.

Naruto and Gaia had spent the last two hours sitting and eating while talking amongst each other. Both teens were enjoying their time alone and were just getting ready to leave. As the two started to stand up from the table, a man slightly older than the two, wearing a chunin flak jacket, stopped next to their table.
"You know gorgeous, you could always leave the demon brat here and come with me." Said the man getting a small growl out of Naruto.
"Get out of here Kimaru, we don't need your shit today." Naruto said through clenched teeth.
"I wasn't speaking to you demon, so shut up and let me talk to the babe here." The now named Kimaru replied as he turned back to Gaia. Naruto started to say something else but noticed the subtle shake of Gaia's head. Naruto saw her raise her hand as a small seal glowed for just a quick second as sand appeared in her face down palm.
"What was your name again ninja-san?" Gaia asked.
"Kimaru. How about we get out of here?" Kimaru asked as he reached out and took her hand. Before he realized what was happening, a sickening crunch was heard as the man screamed out in pain as Gaia's sand crushed his hand.
"I am here on a date with Naruto-kun and you just interrupted it. Why would I want to go with someone like you? Get out of here or it will be more than just your hand I crush." Gaia said as she let the chunin go and he ran out of the restaurant.
"Is everything ok?" Shingi asked quickly coming over to the two.
"It was just Kimaru starting his shit again but Gaia-chan took take of it. We were just on our way out." Naruto said as he left a generous tip for the older man. Naruto held his arm out for Gaia and after she took it the two left the restaurant.

The two teens had been walking for about ten minutes under the star filled night sky. The two were laughing and simply enjoying the others company. As they continued their walking, Naruto noticed Gaia shiver under the cool breeze of the night sky. Letting go of her hand, he took off his jacket and helped her slide into it. Gaia smiled at the blond and started to retake his hand but noticed the look on his face. The look that told her he was talking to one of his sealed friends.
"Kit, there is a group of negative emotions headed this way. I would guess it is Kimaru and a group of others that do not care for you." Karumi said.
"For once could these morons leave me alone? Especially while I'm with someone." Naruto replied before stepping in front of Gaia. Gaia started to ask what was wrong until a group of chunin landed in front of them as a small group of civilians came around the corner with Kimaru in the lead.
"What do you want Kimaru?" Naruto growled out.
"You and that little bitch of yours are going to die tonight. We'll kill you and then have some fun with her before we kill her as well." Kimaru said with a chuckle.
Naruto felt his anger and chakra rise as the chunin in front of him said those words. You could talk about him all you wanted, but when it came to those he cared about, that was crossing the line. And add in the fact that Kimaru said he was going to rape Gaia sent Naruto over the edge. He channeled chakra to the seal on his left wrist as Benihime appeared in his hand.
"Razor, Benihime!" Naruto shouted as he drew his blade and swung it in an arc at the people in front of him. A wave of blue chakra launched out of the blade and moved towards the group. All but a few chunin and the civilians managed to get out of the way. Those that didn't avoid the strike were cut in half as the chakra wave passed through them.
The remaining five chunin landed in front of Naruto and stared at the blond as they each drew a weapon. Naruto made four seal less clones, three to help him and one to stay in front of Gaia even though he knew she could protect herself. The original Naruto activated his sora sharingan, before he ran forward. "Time to see if sensei's training has paid off."
As Naruto neared the first chunin, the chunin went to slash at him but Naruto used the shunshin to move past him. Naruto appeared behind one of the other chunin and slashed him behind the knee before disappearing again. The others quickly stood with their backs to one another as they watched for Naruto. Naruto appeared in the middle of them with another shunshin and slashed at two more of them before disappearing once again.
Naruto reappeared once again and slashed at the fourth chunin but wasn't quick enough to avoid the strike across his upper back. He vanished and appeared on the roof of a nearby store looking down at the group. "I'll admit you got a lucky shot, but I think I will end this now." Naruto said as his three other clones surrounded the group preventing escape.
"You can't kill us demon. The council will have your head for this." Kimaru shouted in what Naruto knew was fear.
"I graduated the academy two days ago. Since I am now a shinobi of Konoha, I am allowed to act in self-defense. If that involves taking a life then so be it. You shouldn't have threatened Gaia-chan." Naruto said as he and the three clones held up Benihime.
"Crimson Princess of Binding." Naruto and the clones said as they slashed with their blades as the chakra flew off the blades and made a very small net that surrounded them on all four sides. The original Naruto jumped to the ground and walked over to the net. "Fire-Playing Crimson Princess Beaded Mesh." Naruto said as he touched the tip of his blade to the net. Orbs of chakra appeared where the blade touched and began to spread around the net as Naruto moved back beside Gaia. Once the net was covered in chakra orbs, a small explosion rocked the area. As the dust cleared, there was just a small crater in the street where the bodies used to be.
"Naruto-kun, are you alright?" Gaia asked as she looked at the now healing cut on his back before she gasped at what she saw. Tears started to form in her eyes as she gently reached up and touched the word demon carved into Naruto's upper back. "How? I thought the tailed beast could heal wounds." Gaia said.
"Normally they can, but even with having four sealed in me, they couldn't heal that one. Karumi said it was because they poured salt in the wound as they did it and salt is really bad for them since they are technically demons." Naruto explained as his jiji, Rasa, and some anbu landed next to the two teens.
"Naruto-kun, what happened?" anbu Neko asked as she looked over the blond with Hiruzen standing behind her and Rasa looking over Gaia.
"I'm alright nee-chan really. Kimaru tried to get Gaia to leave with him as we finished up our date but Gaia-chan crushed his hand. He showed up here with some other chunin and civilians and threatened to kill me, rape Gaia-chan, and then kill her too. I acted in self-defense to protect myself and Gaia-chan and they ended up dead." Naruto explained as he looked to his grandfather.
"I am sorry your night was ruined Naruto-kun, but I am glad you both are safe. Perhaps you should head on home and get ready for tomorrow." Hiruzen said getting a shake of the head from Naruto.
"Not yet jiji. I still need to walk Gaia-chan home and then I'll head home." Naruto said getting up and taking Gaia's hand as the two walked off leaving two smiling kages and an anbu agent.

The rest of the walk was in a comfortable silence. Naruto walked Gaia up to the door before stopping on the porch. "I am sorry about tonight Gaia-chan." Naruto said as he looked down.
Gaia reached out and lifted his head with her hand as she stroked his whisker marks. "Don't be Naruto-kun. Even with everything that happened, I still enjoyed the night out with you and look forward to more. Will you come and see us before we leave tomorrow?" Gaia asked.
"Of course I will." Naruto replied as he reached up and took her hand in his. "Get some rest and I will see you in the morning." Naruto said as he moved in and gave Gaia a small kiss on the cheek causing her face to turn the same color as her hair. "Goodnight my suna-tenshi." Naruto said before leaving in a swirl of leaves. Gaia walked in with a happy smile on her face and headed for her room.

Naruto stood with Hiruzen as they stood across from Rasa, his children, and his escort as they got ready to leave. Naruto had told the oldest two siblings and their father goodbye already and was walking up to Gaia. He didn't know why, but every time he looked at her, she would quickly turn away with a small blush. Walking up to the red head, Naruto took her hand before he started to speak.
"I had fun Gaia-chan, even if our night was ruined last night." Naruto said as the girl looked up at him.
"Like I said Naruto-kun, I am just glad you weren't hurt or anything. I had fun over the few days we were here as well. Next time I'm here we will have to do it again." Gaia replied getting a happy nod from the blond.
"I am glad to see you both enjoyed yourselves. And you both may be spending more time with each other more than you think." Rasa said getting confused looks from the two.
"What do you mean tou-san?" Gaia asked.
"After the chunin exams that are coming up in a few months, your father has decided to transfer you to Konoha so you and Naruto-kun will have more time to work on things with the marriage contract." Hiruzen explained getting happy looks from the blond and red head.
"Now I hate to rush this along but we need to be returning and Naruto-kun has the academy to get to for his team assignments." Rasa said.
Gaia looked at the blond with another blush on her face and quickly turned away. Temari seeing this let out a small chuckle before moving next to her sister. "Go for it imoto, the worst you will do is daze him for a bit." Temari whispered with another chuckle getting a nod from Gaia.
Gaia walked back to the blond before looking up at him with a smile. "I can't wait to see you again Naruto-kun. Take care." Gaia said.
Naruto smiled and wrapped the girl in a hug. "You too Gaia-chan." Naruto replied and went to walk over next to Hiruzen but stopped when Gaia grabbed his wrist. As Naruto looked at Gaia, his eyes widened as he felt a pair of soft lips pressed against his own. And just as quickly as they came, they were gone leaving a blushing and dazed blond with a happy smile.
"I think you broke him." Kankuro laughed as they all watched the blond.
"Neko, take Naruto-kun to his class before Iruka shows up please." The hokage said as Neko moved forward and disappeared with Naruto.

About five minutes later and Naruto was finally over his dazed state and sitting with Ino, Hinata, and 'Sasuke'. The four were talking and waiting for Iruka to show up. "Who do you think will be on each team?" Ino asked her friends.
"It's hard to say Ino-chan. More than likely it will be you, Shika, and Chouji in order to recreate the Ino-Shika-Cho team. As for the others it is hard to say." Naruto replied as the door opened to reveal Iruka.
The chunin gave a short speech on how proud he was and the dangers that came with their jobs. After that he started naming off teams and their jonin sensei.
"Team seven will be 'Sasuke Uchiha', Hinata Hyuuga, and Naruto Uzumaki. Your jonin sensei will be Shisui Uchiha." Iruka said getting surprised looks from Naruto and 'Sasuke'.
"Team eight will be Kiba Inuzuka, Sakura Haruno, and Shino Aburame. Your jonin sensei is Kurenai Yuhi."
"Team nine is still in rotation from last year so team ten will be Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, and Chouji Akimichi. Report back here in three hours to meet your sensei." Iruka said as the genin got up and left.
That seems like a good place to end it for now. I was gonna have the bell test this chapter but the chapter got longer than I expected so that will be next chapter along with the start of missions. I will be skipping writing out the d-rank missions just because I feel like that is a waste of time. And for those of you who are wandering, Kakashi will make a few appearances here and there like with the training for the chunin exams. On a different note, who else is really excited about Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 coming out here in a few days? The next update may be a while since I plan on playing through the game first but we will see how things go.
