CHAPTER 5 Teardown.

Percy ran towards the drakon, intent on destroying it. Running as fast as he could, which was pretty fast now he had the armor on did a baseball slide between its legs,grading a dagger from the straps from my legs i tried to slice open the drakon from its belly. Key word tried. The moment the dagger touched the drakon,It spun out of my hand and nearly skinned me. The drakon which was angry about my attempt to kill realised it could crush me before i came out from under it.I came out just in time and turned to face the grotesque drakon again.

This time the drakon attacked first. Moving with surprising speed its heavy weight making thump sounds as they came down. The drakon roared and spat acid at me I took my katana out and defected it. I rushed out and met its claw in a shower of sparks. I broke away and went for a massive overhand swing, only to be knocked back down to the soft green ground from the drakon. Without wasting a single heartbeat i got back up. To see a horrific sight, the drakon was high in the air, about to crush me yet again. A dull part of its shiny Crystal hard skin caught my eye. An other vulnerable spot i thought.

I dashed forward like a mad man as time slowed down yet again. I saw the grass high in the air, felt the wind in my hair. I felt my blood pumping and rushing around me. I tensed and crouched down. like you would when you're about to make a three pointer in basketball. My muscles tensed before I was catapulted straight into the air. I was a bullet heading for its target, my katana held out in front of me. I aimed for that dull spot i had seen. Penetrating it with my sword. Time came back to normal as the drakon screeched and fell to ground... with me below it. There was nothing i could do as it hit the ground and my vision went black.

Annabeth POV

It had been a month since Percy run away, i was sitting at the beach on camp half blood,as i had decided to take a break from searching from him. The waves reminded me so much of him. The campers had already given up on him. The newer ones even doubted he had saved olympus. They said things like'' I bet i could beat him'' and '' He's a weakling thats why he run away'''. The only people who were still searching for him were his old friends and me. I hadn't talked to my mom at all so far and had given up my job as olympus's official artifact.'' Percy please come back''.

Thalia POV

I was still wondering why Lady Artemis hadn't let us search for Percy. I was ready to quit the hunters and search for him myself.

Percy POV

I jumped from tree to tree. In search for small birds me and Angel could eat. Angel was currently flying above me. She had grown a lot and was now the size of blackjack. We were planing on flying out of the place we were in soon.

'' found one percy'' Angel said''its about 500 yards away''

''Race you to it'' i replied.

''Your'e on'' said the Gryphon.

I sprang forward imagining my armor on me. I glowed blue in midair as the transformation took place. I quickly found myself going forward with inhuman speed. I spotted Angel above me quickly gaining on me. An idea came to my mind. As she tucked her wings in for a dive i jumped up like a panther and aimed for her back. I landed on it. Angel began taking sudden moves like darting to the left or right, attempting to throw me off balance. i hung on with all my might as i wrapped my hands around her neck. i heard her angelic laughter, before i burst out laughing too.

''I love you Angel'' i said

'' And i you my friend'' she replied

The gods were seated on their thrones when the oracle burst into the room, green mist following from her eyes

The hero betrayed comes again.

With a band of friends from far and wide.

The key to victory is he.

Along with wisdom chaser the world they will save

or else the bitter end is neigh.

The oracle the fell to the ground. The gods silent as they processed what they had heard

Ridden POV

When i had woken up on the back of a pure black horse with wings i was freaked out. When said horse said ''sup'' i was ready to say i was in heaven. Sadly i wasn't instead i was back from unconsciousness and in the cruel world. After that i had asked the horse all kinds of questions until i basically knew all about the world and the greek gods that lived in it.

The said horse now identified as blackjack, a donut crazed hyper Pegasus. Had told me that i must be a son of Poseidon if i could understand him. After all that he had asked me to help him search for his boss Percy, who had vanished when a god called hermes had taken him away.

We were now riding towards them for a whole month i should say, guided by blackjacks nose. I saw something flash in the distance on a lone island that would have made the faded gd pan cry with joy because of its greenness.

'' Thats him'' said blackjack

Percy POV

Me and Angel had just caught the bird when a black flash appeared by us.

''Blackjack is that you?'' i said
