Star Wars - Rebirth Episode 3: The Sith Trooper

"I'm surprised that you somehow came in possession of Palpatine's Retreat on this planet.", Darth Talon said.
"Thank our friends within the upper echelons.", Pein said playing chess with Michanikos. "Our ranks have infiltrated very deep."
"This Sith Order is unique compared to the others as it possess traits of those before us.", Michanikos said. "Still I can't believe that what's left of the Jedi Order have joined us."
"They didn't join us. They just agree with the Project and choose not to interfere.", Pein said. "Our greatest and biggest obstacle have been removed. At long last the Jedi is finally broken. Their legacy have been tarnished. They have forsaken the galaxy the galaxy they once protected."
"No matter who wins the war between the First Order and Resistance, everyone lose.", Michanikos said. "And there are no Jedi around to restore order to the galaxy like they have done so many times."
"Not only that, but you'll also have your revenge on Kylo Ren as well.", Talon said.
"What better way to defeat your most hated enemy than to destroy the galaxy that he so wanted moments before his death.", Pein said with a smile. "Too bad you didn't bring the weapon here."
"I'm afraid it must still recharge after it's last usage.", Michanikos said. "But it was worth it as those black slime freaks are now an extinct race. I did have something that'll compensate our numbers."
Michanikos pulls out a device and a case emerges from the said device.
"I never get tired to Celestial's tech.", Michanikos said opening the case. "The Sith Trooper Hive for the Sith Trooper Project."
"Intriguing but you do realize how difficult to find strong Force-Sensitives.", Pein said.
"That's the beauty of of it. This Hive will turn the rejects into loyal fighting machines with skills rivaling even Jedi Council members.", Michanikos explains.
"Well well. You have once again outdone yourselves.", Pein said with a smile.
"I have a way of making useless into useful.", Michanikos said throwing a dart on a poster of Kylo Ren straight to the forehead.
Ben was sitting alone in a meditative stance before suddenly collapsing. He takes a deep breathe before getting up.
"This is the hundredth time I look into the future and it all remains the same.", Ben said apparently traumatized. "Except for the one, but that future is impossible to achieve."
Ben then looks at the comm. give to him by Pein.
"Is Pein right? Is this the only way? Is this really the fate of the galaxy?", Ben asks himself before crushing the comm. "Regardless I will not take part of a genocide."
Ben jumps onto his speeder and heads for Theed.
Theed...
Rey was in her room reading the Ancient Jedi Texts, but at the same time was distracted by something. Even though she doesn't sense anything wrong, her own body feels cold as if she can feel death itself in the very air. Even though Leia assures her that the Resistance have everything they need to rebuild, they're in an easier said than done situation.
Rey then picks up her staff and heads out to get some fresh air, but not before taking the two halves of Anakin's lightsaber with her.
"I hope Leia is having better luck with negotiating an alliance with Naboo than me learning."
Ben parks his speeder and heads off to the market. He stop for a moment watching a Gungan performing acts for the kids to enjoy before continuing off. Ben is fully aware that the gungan is Jar Jar Binks and it fully disgusted him on how the people blame him for the Rise of the Empire, when in truth the Gungan was a victim as well.
While deep in thought, Ben wasn't looking at where he is going and bumps into Rey causing her to drop the things.
"Sorry, my fault. I wasn't looking at where I was going.", Ben said bending to the pick up Rey's things before reaching for the broken lightsaber.
"That's alright! I wasn't looking at where I was going myself.", Rey said before reaching for the broken lightsaber.
The two stop upon hearing each others voice.
"Rey?"
"Ben?"
"Alright, this part of the Sith Trooper Hive is done.", Michanikos said finishing with the adjustments. "Now all I need is a volunteer."
"I have one ready for you.", Pein said with a snap of his fingers two Sith soldiers dressed as First Order Stormtroopers drag a young man to the group. "This man has been known for speaking the First Order. Kidnapping him will easily convince the people of this planet that the First Order are responsible to this. Put him inside."
The troopers toss the man inside the pod and closes it right before the man regain conscious and starts banging the pod. However the pods mechanical features easily restrains the man and starts doing it work on him.
"If I recall this man has no connection to the Force.", Talon said. "How is it that you're able give him that capability."
"Simple, this hive is connected to the Force nexus of this planet.", Michanikos said. "By studying the Scepter of Ragnos is was able to replicate its abilities into the Hive. Meaning the Hive can turn an ordinary being into a strong Force-Sensitive."
The trio then see the pod opening up and out comes a heavily armored being.
"Behold a perfect bonding of organic and machine!", Michanikos said. "The ultimate warriors, The Sith Trooper!"
"Who do you serve?", Pein asks the Sith Trooper.
"Pein!", The Sith Trooper said bowing before him.
"Then I have a mission for you.", Pein said showing him a rather crude holo of Rey. "Find this girl and kill her."
"As the subject is a none force-sensitive this Sith Trooper is of a lower-class, but is more than enough to best a veteran Jedi Knight.", Michanikos said.
"Why do you want to kill the girl?", Talon asks. "She is a Jedi of your former master."
"Do not forget that Kylo Ren wants her as well. Killing her will rob him of his chance, plus I want to see if she is worthy of his legacy.", Pein said with his eyes briefly glowing red as more troopers arrive with more 'volunteers'. "Have the others cause trouble."
"Talon I have a job for you."
"So Kylo Ren killed Snoke and is now leader of the First Order.", Ben said leaning onto the balcony.
"Yes, but instead of making him better it just made him worse than he was."
"I still can't believe that I have the same name as him.", Ben mutters. "But then again my mother only knew of a nephew. She never met him or even got the name."
"I'm surprised that you're Luke's son.", Rey said. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Don't you know?! The name Skywalker is practically taboo thanks to my aunt's dumb friend revealing the truth of Vader."
"First of all he's your own grandfather so you can stop calling him that.", Rey said. "Second you can't fault someone who's easily manipulated into something."
"Oh, so I suppose I can fault my aunt for being a poor mother to kylo Ren."
"You're such a sithspawn!", Rey said butting heads with Ben. "It's no wonder you have no friends!"
"Who would be friends with the grandson of a heartless murderer and cousin of a psychopath?!"
"Maybe if you fixed that attitude against the galaxy!"
"I being a realist! You can't fault me for saying what is true!"
"Then stop seeing the galaxy in a negative point of view and think positively!"
"Like beating the First Order will make a difference?! A new Republic is formed, disarm the military, a new opposition group appears and cause mass slaughter, and then war again. The whole things just repeats and repeats only with no Jedi around!"
Unknown to the two both Karrde and Mara watches the two argue.
"They used to be a thing.", Mara said to Karrde.
"Ah!", Karrde said getting it.
"I'm worried, Karrde.", Mara said sadly. "I've already lost my husband and I don't want to lose my only child, but already the galaxy is at war and worse murders and kidnappings have increased to a disastrous level. Teen and even children with Force-Sensitivity are taken away from the homes and families to be used as test subjects."
"Force-Sensitives are being treated as the next exploitable resource by governments, corporations, and even cults. It's a galactic pandemic.", Karrde said. "I even heard the several anti-jedi groups are regretting their actions against the Jedi as all this started after the disappearance."
"Relatives of the kidnapped younglings have even started a witch-hunt against all anti-jedi groups, the latest victims being the People's Inquest. They even went as far as behead Thrynka Padaunete and plae her head onto a pike.", Mara said. "The galaxy is falling back to the age before the Jedi involved themselves in galactic affairs."
"Ironic that they believe that ridding the Jedi would make the galaxy better, but instead made it worse.", Karrde said.
"That's not the worse part. Darth Pein has been liberating the kidnapped younglings and has been declared their savior. They join this Sith Empire in order to sought revenge on their captors and believe only he can bring the peace."
"Well seeing how everything is going in the galaxy I don't see the problem in destroying and rebuilding the galaxy.", Karrde said.
"Yes, but in that new galaxy the Force-Sensitives will be seen as gods. Just like the days when the Celestials were in power.", Mara said sadly.
"And we still know little about them.", Karrde said. "Aside from the fact that they're clearly gods."
Mara then feels a disturbance in the Force and turns to the city, when suddenly a Sith Trooper comes out of nowhere and lunge towards Rey, knocking itself and Rey off the building. Ben immediately gives chase. Mara was about to help, but another Sith Troopers appears before her and ignites a red lightsaber. Mara quickly draws her purple lightsaber as the figure attacks.
A Sith Trooper kidnaps a teenage girl and was jumping over buildings, but was stopped by a boulder thrown at it. The Sith Trooper easily jumps over it and sees the obstacle, Arco Ren.
"Hey, you miss me?", Arco Ren asks, but gets no response. "Yeah, I'm looking for your boss and want to pay him back for brainwashing my troops and stealing my ship. So drop the girl and let's dance!"
The Sith Trooper raise the girl over it's head, causing Arco to realize what's it doing.
"No no no no!"
The Sith Trooper throws her off the building forcing Arco to jump after her to save her as the Sith Trooper makes his escape. He catches the girl cna lands safely on the ground.
Why did you save me? Aren't you Knights of Ren the murder type?"
"Don't put me in the same position as Kylo Ren. He's the one with the most blood on his hands among the group and I don't kill anyone who has no involvement in our affairs.", Arco said before chasing after the Sith Trooper. Unfortunately for him the Sith Trooper ambush him from behind and slams him hard to the rooftop. The Sith Trooper picks up Arco and throws several powerful punches sending him through the wall.
"*Cough* *Cough* I feel like I was hit by durasteel.", Arco mutters before the Sith Trooper stomps on to his chest hard. The Sith Trooper raise it's foot again, ths time aiming for the head, but was tackled by a young brunette human girl armed with what appear to be a disc-blade.
"Where is your master?!", the girl yells angrily at the Sith Trooper. "Where is the murderer, who slaughtered my people?!"
The Sith Trooper responds by pointing a flamethrower at her face forcing her to back away as it fires. The Sith Trooper gets back up and ignites two lightsabers.
The girl could only curse as her disc-blade is useless against lightsabers.
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I really need a lightsaber.", the girl mutters, but fortunately for her a speeder crashes onto the Sith Trooper. The girl turns to the the one who threw the speeder, Arco Ren.
"Hey, aren't you the daughter of the Zeison Sha leader, Jannma?", Arco Ren asks. "Thought your group want no part of this."
"Well right now what's left of us don't have a choice.", Jannma said.
"Wait, what's left of us?"
"Some dark robe men came to our planet to offer an alliance, but we refused.", Jannma said. "We refused and they attack. Now there are only a few dozens of us remaining."
"But the Zeison Sha are among most powerful force groups.", Arco Ren said.
"These attackers are far more powerful that we originally anticipated and frighteningly enough, more powerful than that thing.", Jannma said looking at the Sith Trooper before widen widening her eyes in shock as the supposedly dead Sith Trooper lifts up the speeder and throws it to Arco Ren. Arco Ren jumps out of the way in time as the Sith Trooper activates it's jetpack and flies off.
"No one can survive something like that!", Arco Ren said still in shock on what happen. "It's body should've been broken. Just what the Force name is going on?!"
"I don't know, but I fear this is just the beginning.", Jannma said as the two chase after the Sith Trooper only to see that the city has turned into hell. "That's just great!"
Ben ignites his blue lightsaber and deflet several blaster bolts back at some First Order Stormtroopers.
"This just keeps getting better and better.", Ben mutters before using the force to toss a speeder onto a tank. "No doubt this is Pein's doing. Using mind control on the First Order using them as scapegoats for his plan."
Ben then looks up and sees an AT-M6 falling towards him. Ben runs as fast as he can and successfully avoids being crushed by the walker.
"That thing doesn't even give a damn about it's allies.", Ben said as he sees a Sith Trooper charging towards him, cutting down any Stormtrooper in its path. Ben blocks the strike, but struggles to keep the blade away from him as the Sith Trooper's physical strength is superhuman. The Sith Trooper then reveals two shoulder cannons aiming for Ben's head.
"Spast!", Ben yells out bending backwards narrowingly dodging the shots, but the Sith Trooper grab and throws him to a building. "I can hardly believe that they're just expendable foot soldiers."
The Sith Trooper moves in for the kill, but receives multiple blast shots from Rey armed with a F-11D blaster rifle. The Sith Trooper then falls dead as Ben gets up, but then the two hears a beeping sounding coming from the dead Sith Trooper. Ben recognizes the sound, throws it into the air and uses a powerful Force-Push sending it further up before the body explodes.
"Oh great, killing machines that can explode when you kill them. This is just not my day.", Ben mutters shaking his head to get rid of the ringing in his ears.
A Sith Trooper continues to fight Mara Jade and successfully knock her lightsaber out of her hands, but Karrde jumps onto the Sith Trooper and wraps him onto onto its neck. The Sith Trooper responds by slamming itself and Karrde to a wall by jumping back forcing him to let go.
"Should've seen that coming.", Karrde groans in pain as the Sith Trooper turns to finish him off, but Mara place her hands onto the Sith Trooper's head and release a powerful Force Lightning frying the brain.
"Rather extreme.", Karrde said rubbing his back.
"I had no choice.", Mara said sadly looking down at the dead Sith Trooper. "But that thing can take hits like a tank and I couldn't get to my lightsaber in time. This was the only option."
"I still can't believe that it gave you a hard time, Mara.", Karrde said. "I mean you're the former Emperor's Hand and Luke's wife. Your skills and powers are practically second to his."
"That's what worries me.", Mara said. "If that thing can give me a hard time, I'm almost afraid to think how powerful their masters are."
"I brought her as you ask.", Talon said bringing a human with a bag over her head. Talon removes the bag revealing to be none other than General Organa.
"Welcome, Leia Organa.", Pein greets warmly. "Let us talk."
