Chapter 4 - Live Eviction 1

"Oh my god, look at Blaine's hair! Is that even Blaine?" Marley asked, laughing as the group stood around the Memory Wall. It was finally time to look at their Big Brother photos and so far, Blaine's was the talk of the house. He smiled as he looked at it and shook his head. It wasn't that big a deal.

"If it wasn't for that smile, I wouldn't even know it was you," Rachel said with a giggle. "I mean, wow, Blaine. That is a lot of gel."

Santana walked over with a glass of lemonade, joining the group gathered around the Memory Wall and laughing when she saw it. "Did they make you send in a photo from 10th grade or what?"

"No… ese es reciente… mamá me hizo hacerlo," he mumbled. "She said she wanted me to look handsome."

"Well she made you look like a cartoon character. But a cute one, if that helps."

Kurt smiled as he scanned everyone's pictures. He thought everyone looked pretty decent, even though he wasn't entirely sure why Brittany wasn't smiling. And even though Kitty stormed off in a rage because she thought they used a bad photo of her, Kurt thought it was pretty. He wished his looked a little more hot and a bit less grade-school teacher, but he wasn't going to get upset over it.

"I hate that you took your photo before you got your Mohawk," Quinn said to Puck, pouting a little. "I don't know that guy."

The group laughed, and Finn walked off towards the kitchen. That was his safe haven. Sam followed after him with angry!Kitty and Adam close by, and Santana didn't fail to notice the way they stayed close to one another. That night, either Sam or Tina would be evicted from the Big Brother house. Mike was pissed off that his wife could possibly be leaving, and it caused a bit of strife. She knew if someone who wasn't Blaine or a person on her team won HoH after the eviction tonight, she could be in a lot of trouble.

"I think you look cute," Kurt said thoughtfully. "The guy in that photo looks like a guy I would date."

A smile broke onto Blaine's face as he turned to look at Kurt. "Really? So you wouldn't date bushy-haired surfer Blaine standing right next to you?"

Mercedes rolled her eyes as she walked away from the two of them. "Get a room."

Blaine smiled at what she said, but didn't take his eyes away from Kurt. Marley wasn't standing that far away and could hear the conversation too, but neither of them realized it. Whether Blaine wanted to acknowledge it or not, Marley took the time he and she spent together in the house seriously…

Kurt turned and faced him too, their eyes meeting. He smiled a little at the curious look on Blaine's face and shrugged his shoulders when his eyes dropped to his lips. Subtle, Blaine. "Meh," Kurt said. He stood up off the counter and walked away, back towards the Rock & Roll bedroom, and smiled when he heard Blaine laughing. It was evident that he was being followed when he could hear the boy's Jordan sneakers quickly hitting the floor.

"Well just so you know, I think you look gorgeous in your photo," Blaine whispered, catching up with Kurt. He watched the man blush as he pretended to fix his microphone. There wasn't anything wrong with his microphone. Kurt pushed open the door to their bedroom and stepped in, looking around for Mike and Tina. They must've been in the Have-Not bedroom.

The past several hours had been tense after the replacement nominee ceremony. Ever since Adam used his Power of Veto win to take Kitty off the block and save her from possible eviction, causing Santana to replace her with Tina, the mood in the Big Brother House went sour. For one, Mike, who was usually pretty down to earth and carefree, seemed distant. He and Tina stayed to themselves despite what Santana said when she came to speak to them later that day.

"I know it's a bit early to be using anyone as a pawn but there is no way Sam isn't going home," Santana explained to the both of them. They were in the HoH bedroom and Tina sat back on the couch, pretty stressed out. Kurt watched her and an angry looking Mike as they looked to want to be anywhere else. "As long as you don't do anything ridiculous, he's out of here."

"There have been way too many times that the person used as a pawn goes home, Santana. You're a smart girl. You know that."

"As long as you know that she isn't coming for you," Kurt told them. Mike seemed like he was wondering why Santana and Kurt had been in the room alone before then… they weren't on teams, and it probably looked like they were in an alliance together (which they were) but before he could get too suspicious, Santana continued.

"I wanted Kitty gone. You both know that. Everyone loves Tina, Mike. The whole house loves the both of you. No one is voting for her to leave. Sam on the other hand—"

Mike cleared his throat and stood up. "No offense, but I want you to know how this looks, Santana. Sam is a player on my 'team'… and he's one of the strongest. You came after him." He stopped and turned to Kurt. "And after Kitty got removed from the block, Santana comes for my wife. If I was stupid, I wouldn't think anything of this… but it seems like you're trying to weaken my game…"

"Ay Dios mio," Santana laid back against the bed and sighed. "Mike. You've never been my target. Stop being paranoid for one moment," she sat back up dramatically, "and listen to what I'm saying to you. Would you rather your random teammate who you just met, Sam, or your lovely wife, Tina, go home?"

Tina shook her head as she stood up, turning to leave. "I'm going to bed. It doesn't matter. I believe Santana and I know she doesn't want me to leave."

Kurt looked at Mike who wasn't really on the same page.

"Thank you," Santana said. "I'm not going to lie when I'm in here. When I don't like someone, I'm pretty fucking honest."

Mike nodded. "Just so we're clear, if Tina leaves, I'm making sure you do too."

Kurt sighed as he dropped his face into his hands. There were way too many threats happening before the first person was even evicted. Santana smiled at him and nodded.

"Fair game, Mike."

They both left the room. Santana continued to stare at the door after it closed and Kurt plopped back against the bed. "Do you think he's going to suspect you and I are working together? …I mean, with our siblings always around each other and what not?"

Santana shrugged, grabbing the remote and turning to the monitor. "Probably. But at least Blaine and Finn are on the same team, and we have the whole gay bond going. They can't prove anything."

Kurt looked up at the camera starting at them and nodded.

"Earth to Kurt," Blaine pushed him onto their bed and pulled at the drawstring of his hood, tightening it comically around his face. Kurt rolled over on the bed and looked over at him, smiling. The sweater was a Charlie Brown hoodie—yellow with the black zigzags over the front. Kurt wondered if Blaine even realized he had another article of clothing with zigzags on them, because it seemed like a theme. But as always, he looked cute…

"What are you doing? You look ridiculous."

Blaine couldn't see after scrunching the hood over his face. He loosened it a bit and blinked a few times. "I said you looked good in your picture. I like it."

Kurt smiled, trying not to blush but failing. "Thank you, Blaine. Can I wear that hoodie tonight?"

"No."

"Why not?"

Blaine took the hood off and sat down on the bed, looking around the Rock & Roll bedroom. "Because you won't let me wear your zigzag cuff."

Kurt laughed softly, rolling his eyes. He turned over on the bed and looked up at the ceiling. "I told you I'm protective over this thing. If you let something happen to it, then I'd have to kick your ass and I would get myself kicked off the show for violence. All of the Zigzag shippers would hate me."

Blaine kicked off his second sneaker and smiled as he got in the bed with Kurt, lifting the covers and sliding beneath them. "So you think we really have shippers?"

Kurt scoffed. "Have you seen us? And I have to say I feel the chemistry right now, despite you not letting me wear your hoodie."

Blaine rolled his eyes. "You're full of shit. Get under the covers."

"But I'm not cold." There was a noise outside the door, and then Schue could be heard shouting something to Mercedes about there being no more tater tots in the storage room. Kurt grabbed one of the guitar pillows and dragged it closer to him, lying his head down. "And someone could come in at any time and accuse us of having a showmance."

Kurt definitely didn't miss the way that Blaine licked his lips as he looked at him, and he bet that neither would the thousands upon thousands of people watching them via livestream. He fought hard not to blush as he focused on the ceiling of their room, enjoying the quiet time they'd have before Kitty burst in and caused a raucous.

"We should have a showmance. No one would have to know."

Kurt smiled, turning his head to look at Blaine. "Everyone would know. Have you seen the way you look at me?"

Blaine smiled. "How do I look at you, Kurt? You're not all that… please."

"After I evict you, and you're at home watching me go on to win from your sofa," Kurt began, watching Blaine laugh. "You'll see how you looked at me. It's adorable."

Blaine bit his lip, pulling at the covers. "OK. Come get underneath. I'm going back to sleep." He pulled a bit harder and ripped them from beneath Kurt, smiling when the man winced a bit. "Sorry."

"Alright, but I'm going outside before we have to get ready for the live show tonight." Kurt slid beneath the covers with Blaine and tried to stay on his side of the bed. He was serious about them keeping a little distance, especially when they were in a place where literally anyone could walk in and see them, bedroom or not. Was he starting to like Blaine? That much was something he didn't bother denying. But, he didn't want everyone to know that. He barely wanted Blaine to know it.

Blaine turned on his side and looked at Kurt for a moment before he let his eyes shut. He stayed quiet for a while. Even though everyone in the house had donned him as the one-who-slept-all-the-time, he didn't have any intentions of changing his ways. What he did want was for either him or Kurt to win HoH tonight though. If they did, they could have the room to themselves—let's be real, everyone knew they were tight at this point. There was no way they wouldn't be expected to spend time up there together, too—and they could actually have a locked door. Not that he expected them to do anything out of the ordinary… Kurt didn't seem nearly as interested in him as he was in Kurt, but, at night, when the lights were out, Kurt wouldn't fight him when he moved in close to cuddle him. Last night, he even had his fingers in his hair, and Blaine seriously contemplated kissing Kurt afterwards—a guy playing in his hair was his weakness—but he kept it to the cuddling.

Cuddling would be nice now, too.

"Go to sleep."

Blaine chuckled, burying his face in the pillow. "You're too far…"

Kurt turned onto his side, facing him. "Let's be smart. Things that we can do while people are sleeping are not the same things we can do when it's 1 in the afternoon…"

Blaine sighed, turning onto his back. "Yeah. Okay. You probably think I'm a dumb kid anyway, don't you?"

Kurt shook his head no. "You're like two years younger than me. I may be ridiculous but I'm not that ridiculous." He watched Blaine close his eyes and played with the drawstrings of his hoodie. "Can I wear this? Please? I love Charlie Brown."

"I don't trust you not to mess it up like you don't trust me with your cuff."

Kurt laughed, rolling back over to his side of the bed. "Fine. You can wear it, Blaine."

He looked over at him. "Really?"

Kurt nodded. "Yes."

Blaine continued to watch Kurt, waiting for the 'PSYCH!' to leave his lips. "What about if people think we're boyfriends or something?"

Kurt smiled as he began to undo his leather cuff. It was his favorite one so Blaine had better known he was special. The little twerp. "First of all, it's not like we'd be the first people in here to wear something of someone else's. Puck squeezes his fat feet into Rachel's gold star socks all the time."

Blaine sat up to hold out his wrist for Kurt once he'd gotten it off. "Did you notice how your stepbro and Rachel are always together? Well, when he isn't eating, he's with her. Isn't that cute?"

Kurt smiled as he focused on snapping the cuff around Blaine's wrist, brushing his fingers over the silver studs and then taking his hand. There were callouses all over his fingers that pretty much screamed 'I play a lot of guitar' and there was a tiny diamond shaped birthmark on his forearm. Kurt smiled as he looked up at Blaine. "Secondly, who cares what people think, right? As long as we win competitions and play our own game, screw them."

Blaine looked down at his hand in Kurt's and then at the cuff around his wrist. He smiled, wondering if he'd give it back any time soon. Probably not. "If you want this hoodie you have to take it off of me."

Kurt rolled his eyes, laughing as he rolled over. "You're too much for me, Blaine."

"Undress me, Kurt. Come on." Blaine said with a smirk, about to jump on top of Kurt when Big Brother spoke.

Blaine, come to the Diary Room.

"See," Kurt said, slapping Blaine's hand off of him when the man sighed. "Big Brother is about to yell at you for trying to seduce me."

"Oh please." Blaine turned away and reached for his sneakers, putting them on. "Are you going to go outside?"

Kurt nodded after a stretch. "Yeah. I need to do my cardio and get in the shower before tonight. Don't say anything bad about me in your Diary Room session, alright?"

When Blaine didn't answer, Kurt pinched him in the back. The man laughed and stood up, rubbing the spot. "Ouchie. If they ask me a question, I'll answer it."

"But don't say anything bad."

"Why would I say something bad about someone I like—" the door swung open and Santana walked in, Puck following behind her. Kurt jumped a little because the noise scared him, but then he wondered if either of them heard what Blaine had been saying. Santana probably knew already (and Kurt hoped none of this was her mastermind of an idea) but Puck didn't seem like he thought anything was out of the ordinary.

"Second time today they're calling you," Santana said. "If you're the saboteur…"

Blaine rolled his eyes at his sister before bending down to tie the second sneaker. "There's no saboteur this season. Shut up."

Puck sat down on Mike's bed and looked at Kurt. "Don't tell me you two were about to sleep… we've got to get ready for tonight… the first live eviction! We gotta get sexy. C'mon…"

Blaine stood up. "I'm always sexy. Let me go see what the DR wants. Be right back."

Santana took a seat next to Puck and looked at her brother walking off. "Hurry up. We seriously need to have a talk when you get back. All of us."

Blaine looked at Kurt who stared back at him.

"About Sam," she said, speaking up before Puck could catch on to their blatant guilty look. "So go. Hurry."

Blaine nodded, putting his hood over his bushy curls and leaving the room. Kurt sat up and looked at the two of them, an eyebrow arched. "What's up with Sam? And can we talk about this outside? I'm on my way to work out…"

Santana nodded before leaning back on the bed. "I'm almost certain he has enough votes to stay in the house."

Kurt was looking for his socks when what was said made him look up immediately. "Wait… what?"

"He's made deals with most of the house," Puck said. "Tina and Mike have been hiding out wherever they are, only spending time with one another. If you count, the only people voting for her will be him, you, me, Blaine, Finn, and Mercedes."

"If I had a vote this wouldn't be a big deal," Santana said. Since she was HoH, she'd have no say unless the vote ended up being a tie.

"Well you don't," Puck said. "I told Finn to talk to his little girlfriend, but Rachel is voting for Sam to stay here because they're both on Mike's team. Marley is going to do whatever her sister does. Schue is voting for Sam because he promised to keep him safe if he wins the competition tonight, and to be frank, Tina has no chance of winning…"

"This isn't good," Kurt sat forward on the bed and looked at Santana who seemed to be more disinterested than she should be at a time like this. "Once Tina leaves tonight, Mike is targeting you. You promised them she'd be safe."

"Well her social game sucks," Santana defended herself. "She's not even talking to anyone in the house! All she's doing is making out with her husband. I have nothing to work with."

Kurt shook his head. "Has Sam approached you, Puck?"

He nodded. "Says if he stays, he's coming after Santana and Blaine. I'm almost certain he and Adam have a partnership going, and after tonight, they'll have Mike too. If one of us don't win the HoH competition, the 5 Star Generals are screwed."

"In other words, one of you better fucking win," Santana said, staring between the both of them. "I need to go enjoy my last few minutes in that large bedroom before I'm back down here with the commoners."

Kurt started to put on his shoes, shaking his head at the situation they already landed themselves in. Of course he could go kiss up to Adam and pretend he was on his side for more information, but he wasn't interested in playing like a snake. If push came to shove, he'd have to, but for now, no.

"Maybe you can take Brittany up there and convince her to vote how you want?" Puck asked, hoping that could be done. He convinced the girl he was Mr. T on Day 2, surely Santana could persuade her to vote how they wanted to.

"I can't make any promises… she's best friends with Kitty who keeps telling her I'm the devil." Santana shrugged before leaving. Kurt looked at Puck who rubbed both hands across his face.

"Everything is riding on this competition tonight," he said, standing up too. He looked at Kurt and gestured for him to come on. "I'll work out with you—wait, where's your bracelet thing?"

Kurt stood up and looked down at his bare wrist. It really did look naked. He looked up to Puck and smiled. "Oh. Blaine has it."

Puck stared at him a little while longer before accepting that as an answer and turning away. "You two are cute, but you need to watch it. There's whispers around the house. Even my ex asked me if I think something's going on… but Blaine has people convinced he's straight somehow," Puck whispered.

Kurt tensed but he didn't want him to realize that. This was exactly what he didn't want—what they didn't need. "Blaine is straight…"

Puck smiled. He had the door opened, and Sam was in the hall coming out of the storage room. Puck closed the door again and turned to Kurt. "He came out to me, so I know. And I also know he likes you. But, as a member of the alliance you two share, I don't want any budding relationship of yours to kill my game. Cool?"

Kurt was going to kill that boy. "Cool. We're just friends, though…"

Puck smiled, patting him on the shoulder before opening the door again. "Whatever helps you sleep at night, Kurt."

-B-B-

Later that night, it was time for the live show. They'd be on TV in front of millions of people, and one of them would go home. Kurt was nervous. He knew for a fact that his dad would be watching, as would Finn's mom. They sat next to one another tonight—he was in between Quinn and Finn, wearing the Charlie Brown hoodie and black skinny jeans with his favorite pair of white Doc Marten boots. Across from him was Blaine who wore his leather cuff with a white t-shirt and some floral pattern shorts. The seashell necklace around his neck and the curly afro on his head added to the surfer from UCLA look.

Kurt thought he looked really good. He was still mad at him for saying what he said to Puck, because how could they be sure they could trust him with that information? Sure, they'd entered an alliance together, but Puck could turn out to be an enemy. YES, he was paranoid. But this was Big fucking Brother.

"Alright, HouseGuests," Julie Chen smiled on the screen as she greeted them, and everyone gathered in the living room cheered and said hello. Kurt turned to her and smiled, prepared to listen.

Please don't tell us another twist. Please don't tell us another twist.

"You've all made it 13 days in the Big Brother House. But tonight, one of you will be evicted. Santana was our first HoH, and among our nominees are Sam and Tina."

Rachel looked over at the two seated in the 'Uh Oh' chairs, as Brittany called them. Sam was dressed in a button down shirt and jeans, and Tina had on a pretty orange-red colored dress. She turned back to the screen as Adam sat back, watching Julie.

"In a moment, I'm going to talk to Santana one-on-one to get her insight on how her first week as HoH went, but I'd like to get a general consensus from the group." Apparently Kitty rolled her eyes because Julie, along with the studio audience, could be heard laughing from the monitor as she picked on her. "I guess I'll start with Kitty. You were on the block before we saw your team leader, Adam, win the Power of Veto competition and save you from the threat of eviction. How much more motivated are you to win the HoH tonight?"

Kitty smiled, knowing the camera was focused on her. Santana, who was seated besides Schue, glared at her from across the room, not giving a damn about the cameras really. "Well Julie, I'm always going to try my best to win every competition. But after everything that's happened over the past couple weeks, which I'm sure everyone at home knows about, I think there are definitely certain people who I'll be targeting."

Kurt tried not to roll his eyes as the audience made ooo noises. He could imagine Santana's face right now, but he didn't want to turn to look at her because he'd probably burst out laughing.

"Do you care to share that with our viewers," Julie asked, being thirsty as always.

"I'll make that clear after my HoH win," Kitty said confidently. Adam smiled.

"Well alright. Mercedes," Julie said, and Mercedes perked up in her seat, making Blaine smile as he looked over at her. He was such a Mercedes stan it was ridiculous. "You are one of our coaches who've actually had the pleasure of playing this game before—and you won your season…" the crowd cheered for her and Kurt clapped too, smiling as Finn grinned beside him. They didn't really get to fanboy much, having to be in game mode and all. "How do these HouseGuests compare to the ones you competed against?"

Mercedes laughed before looking around the room at everyone. "You know what, Julie. I love all of these people. So far we're off to a great start. And while in my season, everything was pretty much drama day in and day out, I am grateful for those people as well."

"Does anyone sing with you like Sunshine did, despite Big Brother asking you all not to?"

They laughed and Mercedes nodded. "I got in trouble quite a bit, but I have Blaine this time around. Blaine's my partner in crime."

He smiled, arms crossed against his chest.

"Speaking of Blaine…." Julie trailed off with a smile as some of the girls in the crowd went crazy. Kurt smiled as the man blushed, and Marley whistled jokingly. "You and your BFF have quite a few fans out here—" someone shouted ZIGZAG at the top of their lungs and Kurt's eyes went wide. Blaine scratched at his jaw stubble as he looked over at Kurt, the room looking between the two of them with interest.

Please don't say anything stupid, Julie Chen.

"And you and Marley seem to be hitting it off as well, despite her boyfriend back home."

Thank god, Kurt thought.

Blaine laughed, shaking his head no and looking at Marley who buried her face in her hands. The room wolf whistled. "Marley is a sweetheart but I respect her relationship," he said with a nod. "I totally do. I don't need any boyfriends beating me up."

Marley smiled, staying quiet. Puck stared at Kurt with a smirk that Finn didn't fail to pick up on.

"Okay, Okay," Julie smiled as well. "You seemed to have a moment during the PoV competition with Adam," she said instead.

Blaine nodded to her on screen.

"How are things between the two of you now that everything has simmered down?"

Blaine sat back and smiled to himself. "Well, I am past it now. Adam did what he did and he won. But his actions gave me an idea who to trust in this house and who not to trust."

Everyone looked at Blaine and then back to Julie. Adam had a smile on his face.

"Anything to say about that, Adam?" Julie asked.

Adam shook his head no, still smiling. "I came here to play and to win. I'm ready to play. That's all there is to say."

"Well alright. I'll leave you all to it and I'll be back in a bit to speak with Santana."

There was a chorus of "Bye Julie," from a few of the HouseGuests—Finn the loudest. Kurt waved and then sat back when the feed of the host turned off. Everyone started talking and Kurt and Blaine looked across at one another, small smiles on their faces. That could've turned out a lot worse than it had.

Marley looked at Blaine with a smile. "What's zigzag about?"

"Hm?" he asked. "Oh, nothing. I'm about to get something to drink if you want?"

She shook her head no and smiled. He got up and walked away from the living room.

Later that night, after everyone had placed their votes, Tina ended up being the first one of their cast evicted. Mike looked as pissed off as you'd expect him to be, but after they shared a super long hug and she said goodbye to everyone, the woman walked out of the front door. The crowd clapped politely as she exited.

Kurt frowned a little and turned to look at Finn. "That just made this a bit more real."

Finn nodded, throwing an arm over his brother's shoulder and walking over to the Memory wall with everyone else. After a moment, Tina's photo turned black and white, and Sam hugged Mike.

"I'm sorry, man."

Mike nodded as people hugged him. Santana was probably the only one who didn't at least say something which sucked, and Kurt wanted to tell her she should consider it, but she simply shook her head no.

"She's going to hold herself responsible," Blaine whispered, playing with the cuff around his wrist. "Come on, let's get ready for the HoH competition. I want that bedroom."

Kurt rubbed at his shoulder. He wanted to win a lot less now. The power had put Santana in a screwed up position, and now most of the house would probably band against her. Plus, thanks to Julie, and Blaine's fangirls, people were definitely going to be suspicious of the word zigzag. Maybe they'd need to spend less time together…

"Are you okay?" Rachel asked Kurt. He snapped out of it and nodded.

"Yeah. I'm sorry… this all just seems so real now that Tina got evicted and… fun's over, you know?"

Rachel laced her arm with his and pulled him off. "I understand. Go get dressed for the competition or else it could be your ass we send home next."

He smiled and nodded. "Yeah. You're right."

-B-B-

What sucked about that competition is they asked a bunch of stupid questions that no one really cared about. Kurt was an interior decorator but he didn't pay attention to how many polka dots were on the wallpaper in the bathroom. He was in the final 3 with Marley and Schue, and he needed to pull off a win for the 5 Star Generals.

But he couldn't.

It came down to Schue and Marley, and Schue threw competitions like he was a freaking quarterback. Of course he threw this one. Besides, Marley was a member of his squad, and a win for her meant he was safe.

As was Blaine and Finn, their teammates.

Marley cheered like a maniac as she won. Julie congratulated her along with everyone else, and Santana put a smile on as she handed the key to the HoH bedroom over.

Hopefully this wouldn't be so bad… right? Marley was nice. She was Rachel's little sister and they didn't have a vicious bone in their bodies. But, they also didn't have any power— until now.

Blaine was happy to be safe. He stood in the backyard with an indecisive look on his face which he quickly changed when Marley jumped into his arm. Kurt pretended to be interested in whatever Brittany and Adam were saying to him as he looked away from those two. This would be fun. He was actually crushing on a gay guy this time, but the dude still had a girlfriend.

"Kurt?" Adam said.

"Hm?" He smiled. "Sorry… what was that?"

"You almost pulled that one off," Adam said. "I thought I'd do better than I did."

Kurt nodded, patting his arm. "We got it next time. Don't worry." He turned away and congratulated Marley on his way inside. The only bright side in this was he was more than likely safe… he had no beef with her, and Finn was her teammate. He'd keep him safe. But Santana…

Whatever. They'd worry about that after dinner.

"I'm sorry," Kurt whispered to her, taking her hand and walking inside. "Don't worry about anything. I'm going to cook fatty burgers and we're going to gain weight and forget about this competition for a night. Cool?"

Santana smiled as she looked back at the group in the backyard. "You might not want to hang out with me publically… people will group you with me and then you'll be in danger of going home too…"

Kurt shrugged. "We're the 5SGs, we're sticking together." He smiled when she didn't even budge at that. "Jeez, Satan. Crack a smile."

"Our alliance name is stupid."

"Relax," Kurt sat her at the kitchen island and went to wash his hands. "I'm pissed off I didn't round higher for that stupid polka dot question."

Santana looked around the house. "Don't stress yourself out about it… she was way off, too. Just closer." She looked through the glass doors outside. "Now I have to kiss her ass for the next few days. I don't think I've even spoken to her before."

Kurt smiled. "Blaine will more than likely handle it. She's in love with him… boyfriend and all."

Santana rolled her eyes. "I doubt she'll have a boyfriend after this competition. They're going to be Cody and Christine Jr. and I'm going to end up self-evicting."

Kurt laughed.

-B-B-

"What do you think they're talking about?" Kitty asked with a smile; her feet on Schue's lap. He continued reading the nutrition content on the back of the Cap'n Crunch box as Adam worked on doing some push-ups.

"Don't tell me you're about to imply they're working together again," Marley said, playing in her sister's hair. It had been another boring day. Well, besides the Have-Not competition. That had been this morning and Finn, Santana, Rachel, and Mike were all Have-Nots for the week. That earned them that terrible bedroom where it was cold and they had to sleep on lawn chairs. Oh, and nothing to eat but slop. Marley was just happy it wasn't her. Her sister would live.

"Every once in a while, your little boyfriend disappears with his sister, Finn and Kurt, and Puck and Mercedes. Isn't anyone a little suspicious?" She asked. "I know Mercedes is a trustworthy person—"

"So is Puck," Quinn said as she walked over to the living room. She'd just gotten comfortable after her shower. "If he was in any alliance with anyone I'd know about it."

Sam smirked from where he was on the floor, doing sit ups. "If he's so trustworthy, why are you married to someone else instead of him? You two do have a child together…"

"That's our business," Quinn told him.

"He could be making deals to keep you two safe," Adam said. "You don't know. He wouldn't tell you something and put you in danger, right?"

Quinn shook her head. "I know Noah. He tells me everything."

Marley shook her head. Blaine wasn't in any alliances with anyone besides his sister. And her, too… but she couldn't exactly say that. Blaine promised that he wouldn't ever put her or Rachel up if she promised not to ever put him or Santana up, and that was before she won the HoH competition. He was trustworthy. Also, they told each other everything. They discussed votes and all of that.

"You're losing your boy to Blaine," Kitty said to Adam. "He's playing you."

Adam stopped exercising and stood up, walking over to one of the uh oh chairs and taking a seat. "He's not my boy. And they probably do have a group going on back there. Someone should go and spy on them."

Kitty sat up, removing her feet from Schue's lap. "Where's Brittany?"

"Are you really going to make her do your dirty work?" Sam asked, smiling and shaking his head. "Don't get her in trouble. She'd probably tell them you sent her anyway."

Kitty shook her head. "She's not the brightest star in the sky, I'll admit that, but she's loyal."

"She and Santana are totally messing around," Rachel said nonchalantly.

"What?" Kitty laughed. "They are not…"

"Yes they are," Schue spoke for the first time since the start of this conversation.

"Even though they're messing around… that doesn't have to mean she's not loyal," Marley said, hoping that Kitty would close her mouth before a fly made its home in there. "But to end this conversation… we shouldn't all be paranoid. They could just be really cool friends or something."

Adam looked at her and shrugged. He was about to get up and go get a sandwich when Mike came over from the kitchen.

"There are ants everywhere."

"Again?" Rachel stood up and folded her arms. "That's disgusting. And I'm starving but I can't go near that slop. I refuse."

"Mercedes and Tina said it was terrible," Sam said. Then he caught himself, realizing he brought up Tina and Mike was still pretty ticked off about it. The room fell quiet before his apology. "I'm sorry, man—"

"It's cool," Mike rolled up his sleeves and looked at Marley. "Can I talk to you?"

She nodded, wondering what it was about. "Sure. We can go to the HoH room. Be right back."

Rachel nodded, walking off to the kitchen. "I'll be up in a bit."

Adam watched Mike and Marley walk up the spiral steps before looking back towards the Jazz room where the little crew were gathered behind closed doors. If they weren't talking game, what were they talking about?

"I'm trying my best to keep everyone in here safe," Blaine said, playing with the cuff he wore. Kurt was staring down at his nails, sharing a bed with Finn who stared at up the ceilings "It's probably easy for me to say since Finn and I are safe, but I'm telling you. I've been trying to convince Marley to look at Adam… she hates him too for cheating."

Santana flipped her hair to the side as she stared down at her bunny slippers on Blaine's feet. "Adam and who else?"

Mercedes was on the bed behind her. "Kitty would be the obvious choice, but since Marley won, Kitty follows her everywhere. That girl is going to be a leech."

"I don't see her putting up Kitty," Kurt said. "Or Adam. I have a feeling it's one of us and I say one of us besides Blaine goes to talk to her. It wouldn't kill to step our social games…"

Santana shook her head no. "I'm anti-social. And I thought about kissing ass but I can't bring myself to do it. I'm allergic."

"I'm not saying we'd be kissing her ass. I'm saying we'd be playing the game." Kurt looked at his brother who seemed pretty out of it since he was a Have-Not. Finn loved his meals and his sleep, and being a Have-Not was fucking with both of those. He felt for him. "If I go home, I at least want to be able to say I tried. I'm going to go talk to her."

Puck nodded. "You better go make a good impression before the nomination ceremony tomorrow…"

Mercedes frowned. "I can't believe I came back. This game is 101% stress."

Santana smiled. "I think if you do go and talk to her, you should go in the morning when everyone's asleep. You two can have a genuine talk without her wondering who else is up spying on you two."

Blaine nodded at that, standing up and walking towards the door. "I'm going outside for some pool. Anyone want to come?"

Puck shook his head no. "I'll kick your ass some other time. That Have-Not competition wore me out. I still have this stupid green dye on me."

Finn sat up and looked at him. "I have to go to my stupid Have-Not chair bed."

Santana smiled. "At least you have your girlfriend with you. And me."

"Rachel isn't my girlfriend," Finn said. "And you're going to complain all night."

Santana nodded. "Pretty much. But so will Rachel."

Kurt got up. "I'll go with you. Let me go get my shoes," he said. They said bye and Blaine followed Kurt to their bedroom, getting some footwear himself as Kurt threw on Blaine's Charlie Brown hoodie.

When they walked through the living room, Kitty smirked at them. Adam looked up, disinterested, and Kurt saw Rachel spraying ants in the kitchen. "Anyone want to play pool?" Blaine asked.

Schue turned around and shook his head no. "It's 10 o'clock. That's my bedtime."

Kurt smiled, opening the back door. It was quiet out, and a little chilly, too. He looked over at the workout station as Blaine stepped out behind him, and then slid door closed. "I'm pretty sure it was Sam who didn't put any of the weights back."

Blaine looked over there as he went for the cue stick. "He usually doesn't. Production will probably remind him again before he goes to bed." He watched as Kurt grabbed the triangle and began to do the set up. "I say we forget pool and go chill over there, though. It's not like anyone here can beat you."

Kurt smiled as he organized the balls. "Finn beat me. Brittany too."

"You let her win," Blaine said obviously. "And Finn only won by some stupid rule Puck made up. His rules are stupid."

Kurt accepted the cue stick Blaine handed him and smiled. "Aww… you gave me the good one…thank you!"

The man rubbed his stomach as he yawned. Kurt laughed at him before removing the triangle… he could be such a puppy. "That's because you're my Prince. I gotta give you the best."

Kurt smiled at him for a while. His heart was doing that stupid thing where it sped up, and he hoped that the people watching via livestream couldn't hear it through the microphone. "How are you so corny?"

Blaine started to spin the cue stick like something you'd see on a martial arts movie. "Tú eres mi tesoro."

Kurt lifted an eyebrow at that. "I don't have my phone to translate so you should do it for me…"

Blaine smirked. "I said you have a big head," he lied. "Now let's play."

"How about we play for something fun…" Kurt smiled. "If I win, I get a table dance."

Blaine laughed.

"If you win, you get a hug," Kurt said, about to take the first shot when Blaine held up his hands.

"Woah, woah, woah… I'm not agreeing to that. If I win, I get a kiss. On the lips! And I can collect it whenever I'm good and ready."

Kurt looked around to make sure no one had snuck outside when he noticed Marley was in the kitchen now, Sam and Adam making sandwiched on the other side of her. He faced Blaine again and shot both eyebrows up. "You're on."

Blaine licked his lips. "I'm on…? You're not being a punk today? This is something new."

Kurt put the cue ball down and lined up, hitting it hard and sinking a striped ball. Blaine watched him make his next move. "What's that supposed to mean?" He hit another in and Blaine wondered if he'd really be doing a table dance in a matter of minutes, and what his abuela would have to say about that.

"It means," he began, "that you are a punk. Plain and simple."

Kurt didn't sink any balls on his next shot, but he smiled at what was just said as Blaine walked over to the other side of the table, lining up. "You need to back up your claim if you're going to say something like that…"

Blaine was theatrical with his pool playing. He looked like he was doing all sorts of math equations and measurements, and usually took a whole two minutes before he actually hit the damn ball. "What I'm saying is, you feel a certain way for a certain person, and I notice how you look at him. It's pathetic, really," Kurt laughed as Blaine continued, "but you're afraid to act on those feelings for whatever reason. Even when you're alone with this guy…" he finally hit the ball but it missed whatever the hell he was aiming at and Kurt shook his head as the cue ball went into the corner pocket. "Fuck."

"Scratch," Kurt said. "How surprising."

"Shut up."

"So," Kurt pulled the ball out of the pocket and looked at Blaine with a smile. "Tell me more about this guy I supposedly like."

Blaine started to twirl the stick again. "Well, a little birdie told me he likes you too. Of course you know that, though. He told you he likes you, in the HoH room a while ago."

"Ah," Kurt hit the ball and knocked in one of his, slowly walking over to Blaine to line up all over again. He bent over and aimed, and Blaine smiled, dropping his eyes to Kurt's ass. "I think I know the guy you're talking about. The one with the cute picture on the memory wall."

Blaine looked away when Kurt hit the ball, sinking two this time. Shit. He knew he was going to lose. "That one."

"I think he's totally hot," Kurt seductively walked over to where the cue ball lay now, smiling as he looked over at Blaine. "You can tell him that. I think," Kurt leaned over the table to take his next turn and Blaine bit his lip. "If we met under different circumstances, like outside of this house, for instance," he was about to take his shot but stopped, standing up straight instead. "I would've definitely asked him for his number and taken him out. But in here… things are different."

Blaine smiled, not wanting to hear that answer. "I think Kurt and Blaine sound better than Rachel and Brendon…"

Kurt laughed, shaking his head and leaning down again.

"And Jeff and Jordan… I mean they're cute but Kurt and Blaine have crazy chemistry. Blaine would do anything to keep Kurt in this game as long as he could, too."

Kurt aimed at the 8-Ball and struck it perfectly, sending it into the middle pocket. Blaine looked down at shock as he watched what just happened.

"Oops," Kurt stood up and laid his cue stick on top of the table. "I accidentally hit the 8-Ball in. Looks like you win." He smiled and folded his hands behind him, walking across the yard. Blaine watched him for a while, starting to smile when he realized Kurt just threw the pool game and let him win. Most importantly, he let him win a kiss on the mouth1!11!

Kurt went over to the hammock and laid down. Blaine stared at him in the corner of the yard, swinging by himself. He looked gorgeous, and hell if he could he'd walk over there and kiss him right now.

But, they were here, on fucking television.

He walked past the backdoor and peeked inside. It looked like people were disappearing for the night. The only people Blaine could see were Sam, Mercedes, Marley, and Kitty sitting on the sofa. They were talking, and Sam was eating. He was also staring at Mercedes probably not as subtly as he hoped he was. Blaine turned away and walked over to Kurt. The man had been watching him and was smiling, and Blaine felt his heartbeat in his throat as he got closer and closer.

"Who's still up?"

Blaine reached the hammock and laid down beside him, smiling when they started to tip a bit. "Um. Marley, Sam, Cedes, and Kitty." He relaxed once they were steady and brushed his hand against Kurt's. "Why'd you let me win? I thought you weren't interested in a showmance…"

Kurt smiled, playing at the drawstrings on his hoodie. "I don't know. I guess I wanted to kiss you, too. Which defeats everything I've been saying about the no showmance thing, but, we're living in the same house this summer and we've been sleeping together since day one, so ignoring that is hard. Plus," Kurt gripped Blaine's arm as he carefully tried to turn onto his side without flipping them off the hammock. "If you look at Jeff and Jordan, they're engaged now. That's freaking adorable. …We won't discuss Rachel and Brendon."

Blaine laughed, turning his head to look at him. He was kicking them back and forth with his foot on the ground so they swung lightly. "It sounds to me like you're saying you want to be engaged to me one day."

Kurt blushed, laying his head on Blaine's shoulder so he couldn't see him. "I'm just saying that some showmances end well, Blaine. But then you have Zankie who tried to get each other out numerous amount of times…"

"We're not Zankie, we're Klaine," he said, smiling as he snuck an arm underneath Kurt. "And Team Zigzag is the shit. I'm not going to try and get you out and you better not talk shit about me behind my back or you're sleeping on the couch. Fuck what Big Brother has to say about it."

Kurt smirked. "If anyone is sleeping on the couch, it's you. And you talk a good game, but will you be saying that when it's a final three of me, you, and Finn."

"You mean me, you, and Santana."

"See?"

Blaine laughed. "Can we take it slow? …I'm not going to ask you to be bae or anything like that but… I don't know. I'm not going to lie," he said. Kurt still had his head on his shoulder. "I like you."

Kurt started to play with the seashell necklace Blaine was wearing. "Stop that."

"Stop what?" Blaine asked, smiling.

Kurt leant up to look at him. "You know what's crazy?"

He shook his head no, giving Kurt an amused look. He was all over the place right now.

"I didn't want to come here at all. Now that I'm here, I'm having a really great time. You're a big reason for that even though this experience is still new. At first, I couldn't care less if I were to go home without making jury because I didn't even want to be here. But now… after getting to know everyone here, this is great."

"Except for Kitty."

Kurt laughed. "Even Kitty. We'll probably be close with her when this is all over. You never know. But I want us to be close too."

Blaine nodded at that, staring Kurt in the eyes. "I agree 100%."

"So what if we end up hating each other or something? I don't want an experience like that." Kurt looked down at his cuff on Blaine's wrist as he played with the boy's necklace. "You're one of the closest people I have in here, and I'm not as afraid of fucking it up with the others because I don't want to kiss them."

The thought of kissing Kurt alone was making Blaine a little lightheaded. He rubbed over Kurt's back and looked down at him. "I think over time I'll just have to prove that I'm serious. But you know you can trust me, right?"

Kurt licked his lips. "What if you feel you can't trust me? What if Adam or Mike or someone tells you something bad about me and it looks really bad?"

"What if Adam tells you something bad about me?"

Kurt shook his head. "I'm not paying it any attention."

"We already know who we're trusting," Blaine whispered to him. "Everyone in our circle is the answer to that. And I trust you. I don't sleep with people I don't trust."

Kurt smiled. "Neither do I… speaking of sleeping with people, I want to know if you're a player…"

Blaine laughed. "Do you think I'm a player?"

There was a noise from over near the sliding door and both of them looked up. Kurt saw someone running away but couldn't tell who it was. Whoever it was sucked at spying on them.

"Jeez," Blaine sat up a little and looked over to where the racket was. "I bet you it was Kitty."

"Forget about that," Kurt licked his lips and laid back, looking up at the starry sky. "We should probably go inside anyway."

Blaine shook his head at whoever that was and laid back down next to Kurt.

-B-B-

"If we didn't make that noise, they would've kissed." Kitty smirked as she sat on the bed next to Marley. "So now you know who you have to nominate for eviction…"

Marley took off her earrings before rolling over in her HoH bed. Rachel was already fast asleep. "I do. Kurt should do something about that little crush he has."

Kitty smiled. "Oh. You can do something about that…"

AN: I'm really having fun with Klaine in this. What do you guys think of the fic so far? Who will be nominated for eviction by Marley next chapter?
