The Lightning Thief P1
AU: To respond to a recent review of Naruto being beta (less manly) may I just say that in the events that have just occurred in my story for Naruto, "How would you feel if your wife and unborn son were murdered?"
"Would you really care if you cried about it in front of strangers who seem to be gods?"
"And, who said the gods don't cry for the deaths of their children?"
Too those wondering why I put this here, I can't find the reviewer to respond to them, so I did this, so if they read this they can see.
If you want to see their review, I sure you know how to check. I take criticism lightly, but when comes to stupidity and people who pride themselves or simply believe "a man shouldn't cry" then all I can say is don't read the story, and find a new one to read.
One of my many morals is that a man who just lost loved ones has every right to cry wherever and to whoever he wants. Same goes for women. Now on a happier note "let's begin."
The next day I woke up at noon, to the sound of yelling teenagers. I muttered a few curses, and put on a black T-shirt, blue jeans, shinobi sandals, a sword strap (Imagine Future Trunks from DBZ) with my sword, which I named Hatake after my late sensei, my two rings on each middle finger, and shunshined outside.
Once outside, I saw every male camper, except for Percy, Luke, and the sons of Aphrodite, surround the Aphrodite girls. They accused the girls of stealing the Master Bolt, via using their acts of seduction. 'How did the news spread so fast' I thought annoyed.
My left eye twitched when I heard a son of Ares threaten the girls with rape. In a flash, I appeared in front of the son of Ares, with my back to him. With my eyes shadowed, I said with venom etched in my words "Boy, you better get out of my sight, or I'll kill you"
All the dudes scrammed, except for the son of Ares, who said arrogantly "I'm Sebastian, son of Ares. I've beaten countless monsters, and nobody at this camp, not even Luke can beat me in combat, so how about you get your worthless ass out of here, before I behead you and throw it out to sea"
One of the girls, who I recognized as Silena Beauregard, tried to charmspeak the brute, but the brute slapped her across the face. 'That's it' I thought before I growled. The idiot looked at me for the last time, before I pounced on him.
Blazing through punches, kicks, head butts, uppercuts, right hooks, rib shattering knee kicks, and left hooks, I grabbed the broken son of Ares by the neck, and Flash Stepped to the Big House. Once there, I kicked down the door, to see Chiron and Dionysus/Mr. D, playing poker.
They looked up at me in shock, but I said in a growl "This piece of trash will either die by my hands, or exiled from this camp" Chiron said in shock "But we can't just exile him, and you can't kill him. Though, what did Sebastian do?"
"He and a bunch of other male campers surrounded the Aphrodite girls, accusing them of stealing the Master Bolt by using seduction methods, and threatened to rape them. Had I not showed up when I did, I would say this camp's population would have dropped by a lot. Then he dared to slap Silena Beauregard across the face. Be happy this scum isn't dead" I stated with rage.
Chiron nodded to Dionysus, who grabbed to boy from me, gripped his neck, and teleported away. I left the Big House, and walked off to the beach. Once I was there, I let the pent up rage I had held in to escape.
The waves parted in one long, straight line, shooting straight up, and going on for miles and miles. For some odd reason I thought of a man named 'Moses', before I felt three ancient beings appear behind me.
Turning around, I saw the Fates: Clotho spinning the "thread" of human fate, Lachesis dispensing it, and Atropos cutting the thread (thus determining the individual's moment of death), upon a golden loom. I felt souls leaving the Earth, and said in a growl "What do you want, Fates"
Each of them turned to look at me simultaneously. And each said in an old, raspy voice "You can't escape Fate child. We decide when one dies and when one grows in power. Do not defy us, or face an early end"
"Fate has never held me back, and it won't start now. I choose my destiny, not you three hags. I am from a world beyond you three, so beat it. And if I damn well need to, I will defy you three again. Especially if it saves one of my precious people" I stated angrily.
"Watch it child! We decide Fate, just as we decided that your village was to die!" They stated arrogantly. "YOU WHAT!" I said before I went Juubi Mode: The Tailed Beast Mode of all 9 Bijuu.
I was encased in pure black chakra, and some even waved off of me in wispy black smoke. The white of my eyes turned pitch black, and my pupils turned blood red, with one black slit in each. In one hand, I held the Staff of the Sage of Six Paths, while in the other, I held a pure black Rasenshuriken.
Behind me, the tornadoes of salt water formed in the hundreds, while all around me, the dirt around me turned into Celestial Bronze. Even my hair changed, by spiking up wards, and turning a liquid form of Celestial Bronze.
Suddenly, the Olympians appeared behind me, in floating thrones. "You killed my wife and unborn son. NNNNOOOOWWW YYYYOOOOUUU DDDIIIEEE" I roared.
In a black flash of light, I appeared behind Clotho, as a look of pure shock appeared on her face, as her head rolled of her neck, severed.
"CLOTHO!" the two remaining Fates shouted before trying to subdue me by shooting black orbs of godly power at me. I walked through the onslaught, and appeared behind both them, and like Clotho, their heads rolled of their necks, severed.
I saw the Olympians look at me in shock, awe, and fear. "They were weak compared to my knowledge of the Titans. If she ever wanted to, Hebe could kill them" I said in understanding of their fear.
"Now however, I declare Hestia, Athena, and Chiron as the three new Fates, seeing as I hold their power, and have no desire to use it."
Athena, Hestia, and Chiron appeared before me in white robes, while Chiron's only reached the end of his chest. "Athena, through your vast wisdom, I declare you the replacement for Atropos, the decider of one's moment of death"
Athena nodded, and was enveloped in black light, before she reappeared in her throne. "Hestia, through your infinite kindness and pure heart, I declare you the replacement of Clotho, the weaver of the thread of fate"
Hestia nodded, and was enveloped in black light, before she appeared on her very own throne. "Chiron, though your many heroic deeds for the Olympians many offspring and the children of all other gods and goddesses, I declare you the replacement for Lachesis, the dispenser of the thread of fate"
Chiron nodded, and was enveloped in a black light, before he appeared in his own throne, though as a humanoid with a brown robe.
"Upon being Olympians and Fates, Athena, Hestia, and Chiron must always keep a form of themselves with the Loom of Fate. And now that Chiron is a complete god and now an Olympian, he can appear as any form he pleases; though do think about staying in centaur form at camp, for the sake of the campers."
All the Olympians nodded, while Zeus and Hera looked livid at having not been given the power over Fate, and because I made Chiron an Olympian God.
"Now, I must leave you Thirteen Olympians. I must train my brother Perceus for capture the flag in two days time" I stated kindly before leaving for camp.
Poseidon POV
Back on Olympus, Zeus called us for a meeting. Once we were all assembled, including Chiron in humanoid form, which I still needed to get used to, Zeus said for us all to hear "I called you all here today, so we can discuss this Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze"
I was the first to speak up "We should be grateful for what he has done. He freed us of the Fates, and gave the powers of Fate to our own council. Though we cannot influence our new Fates, they at least understand us"
Zeus looked at me with anger, before he said threatening "You have no say in this matter brother, as you've yet to return my Master Bolt to me. And what's more, your spawn has yet to free his name, and now you adopt the son of Pontus, thus making him equally as likely to have aided you. So think before speak"
I yelled in anger "YOU SIMPLE MINDED FOOL! I DO NOT HAVE YOUR PRECIOUS BOLT! AND IF YOU TOUCH EITHER MY SON OR MY ADOPTIVE SON! I WILL SEND YOU STRAIGHT TO CHAOS!" I ended this threat by pointing my Trident at Zeus's throat.
"IF IT IS WAR YOU WANT! THEN WAR YOU SHALL GET! BEWARE BROTHER! THREATEN ME AGAIN AND I WILL STRIP YOU OF YOUR IMMORTALITY AND KILL YOU!" Zeus bellowed.
"SHUT UP!" somebody bellowed. We all turned to see my adoptive son, Naruto, as he stared at Zeus with unhidden rage.
Naruto POV
"SHUT UP!" I bellowed with rage. "Get out of here boy, before I end you" Zeus said threatening. I popped my knuckles, then popped my neck, and when I was done, I said with rage and venom etched in my words
"Watch what you say Zeus. My tenants don't take it lightly when I am threatened. I will find your Bolt, clearing my brother's and Poseidon's names, but after that, never expect me to save your skin from any threat. Only if my precious people are threatened, will I intervene. Now you arrogant bastard, if you continue to threaten me and or my precious people, I will kill you"
With that I turned to leave, but before I left, I dodged a blast of power. Turning on the spot, I went Juubi Mode, and pointed my Staff at the one who tried ending my life. Hera.
"YOU WILL RESPECT YOUR KING CHILD!" Hera bellowed. "Respect is earned, not given. And as I far as I knew, you hate your husband for never being faithful. So don't patronize me about respect, when you don't respect your King. As of now, I only hold respect to every immortal or god/goddess besides you, Zeus, and Ares"
With that, I turned again to leave, as the image of Hera's shocked, ashamed, and saddened face was imprinted in my mind.
It had been two days since I put the Royal Pain in the Ass and his Idiotic Wife in their place, and I am currently training the Aphrodite kids how to sword fight, before capture the flag in 4 hours. They were doing push-ups, when I felt a presence behind me.
"Hi Naruto-kun" Aphrodite whispered in my ear, seductively. I noticed a few of the girls and boys smirk, and I said with authority "Everyone will do one hundred more push-ups, since a few of you think it's funny that your mother is flirting with me!"
They all groaned, and continued on. "Aphrodite, get in an exercise outfit and join your children in exercising, or you can forget any chance of going to dinner with me tonight after the game" I said with authority.
She paled, before suddenly wearing black sweatpants, a pink tank top, and some pink Nikes. She then went and did push-ups beside Silena.
Smirking, I created 50 Shadow Clones, and had them go train for the game, while I had one go fetch Percy and Luke.
In 2 minutes, Luke and Percy came running in, but stopped dead in their tracks, at the site of seeing Aphrodite and her children… Exercising!
"Luke, I need you to battle a clone of mine, so I can get better at sword fighting, while I teach Percy all I know" I said kindly.
Luke nodded, and I created a clone to spar with Luke, while I unsheathed my sword, Hatake, and Percy pulled out Riptide. In seconds, our swords clashed, a metallic CLANG! resounded across the sword arena.
I smirked, and said with brotherly humor "You're getting better Perceus, but let me show you the Ancient Fox Style"
Soon, I was jabbing, dodging, swiping, stabbing, and parrying with my right hand, while I formed a chakra tail, which held a chakra shaped sword, before I turned the atoms in the air into Celestial Bronze, and began striking Perceus with both swords.
In seconds, I had him pinned down, disarmed, and my sword's tip at his throat. I said "Yield", and he nodded. With that, I grabbed his right hand, and pulled him up. He smiled at me, and we watched as Luke was beaten, though narrowly, by my clone, who upon victory, vanished, and I retrieved his memories.
"Well Naruto that was sure something. Any chance of teaching me that style you used against Percy" Luke said with a smile. I was about to say something, but I suddenly appeared in my mindscape.
Kurama and Son Goku stood in front of me in the middle of a forest. "Kit, we have some bad news for ya" Kurama stated matter-of-factly. "Yes, we all noticed a dark residue upon your friend Luke. It would seem, he has been conversing and aiding Kronos in attempting to cause an Olympian Civil War" Son Goku said sadly.
"No way, he couldn't have!" I yelled. I noticed Kurama nod at Son Goku, who closed his eyes, and in front of my eyes, appeared Luke.
He looked shocked at seeing me, Kurama, and Son Goku in a forest, but before he could open his mouth, Kurama said fiercely "We are in Naruto's mindscape. I am the Nine Tailed Fox Demon, Kurama! Next to me is my brother, the Four Tailed Monkey Demon, Son Goku! And before you think of trying to escape; only I or my brother can free you"
"Luke, did you steal the Master Bolt?" I asked sadly. I saw him smile darkly and said "Yes Naruto, I did. The gods of ruled for too long. It is time for a new age. Kronos aims to achieve such an age. He even plans to make me his second in command" he finished darkly.
"Foolish demigod! He is but a spirit of his formal self! He will require a body, and I can bet you will be his host until he can gain his body back, and exit yours, like a butterfly exits its cocoon!" Kurama roared.
"If so, then so be it. As long as the gods fall, I don't give a damn" Luke replied darkly. "Why Luke?" I asked pleadingly.
"You ask me why! You serve them like a puppy does to his master. The gods are arrogant, and even flaunt their power. They are not as strong as they used to be, and will fall like the bugs they are. They even think themselves above all the minor gods and goddesses. Then to top it off, they say they love us, but they refuse to protect us. MY MOTHER WENT INSANE AFTER MY FATHER LEFT HER TO CARE FOR ME!" Luke bellowed.
"Luke, I can build cabins for the minor gods and goddesses. I can build them shrines and dining tables at the pavilion. Oh, and for the record, you are no different if you believe I am their slave or puppy. Also, I don't follow anyone, but myself. I already put Zeus and Hera in their place. Just give me the Bolt, and I will clear your name before I return it" said with sympathy.
"I can't" Luke said sadly. "What do you mean you 'can't'" I said in shock. "In the off chance that I betrayed Kronos, I had to convince one of my brothers or sisters to join me." Luke said sadly.
"Who did you convince?" I asked fiercely. Luke flinched at my tone, but responded with two words "Kayla Booth" I nodded to Kurama, and he freed us from my mindscape. Once back in reality, I stared at Luke, while I vaguely noticed everyone stare at us in confusion.
"Luke, show me where Kayla Booth is" I said calmly. He nodded, and took me to the Hermes Cabin, where he let me in.
Inside I saw an abundance of clothing, food, toiletries, towels, and a gigantic trash can, that was full. On the floor, were sleeping bags everywhere, while there were forty or so bunk beds. He took me to the very last bunk bed, which had the names "Luke" and "Kayla" imprinted on them in golden paint.
"So, where is she?" I asked calmly. He shook his head, and said in sadly "It would seem Kronos knew I would betray him to you, so Kayla took the Bolt and Helm, and ran".
"What Helm?" I asked in surprise. "Hades' Helm of Darkness, it was how we stole the Bolt" Luke stated. I nodded, and grabbed his arm, before I shunshined us to Olympus. Once in the throne room, I said loudly "Zeus! I know who took the Bolt, but at the same time I have the thief's accomplice, who went from traitor to ally to Olympus again!"
Luke looked at me like I was crazy, but I saw only Zeus look at me in rage and surprise, and Hermes who was enraged. "YOU DARE BLAME MY SON!" Hermes bellowed.
Luke said before I could "It is true. You have no room to talk Hermes! YOU MADE MY MOTHER INSANE!" enraged at Hermes. Hermes sat back down in shock, while Zeus said fiercely "Luke Castellan! Who did you help steal my Bolt?!"
"Kayla Booth, descendant of John Wilkes Booth, assassin of Abraham Lincoln, son of Athena. We stole it, so you would declare war on each other, allowing Kronos the best opportunity to strike you all, and take back his role as ruler" Luke said in shame.
The throne room went cold, at the mention of Kronos, making the Olympians fearful. "So my pawn has finally betrayed me to the son of my uncle. Well it isn't a surprise, as the boy is quite powerful in his own way of bringing out the good in all. To my children, besides Hades, who seems to rule the Underworld, beware my wrath. For soon, I will be back, and you all will be my slaves. HAHAHAHAHA!" Kronos finished with an evil laugh.
Before anyone could speak, I said darkly "Zeus, don't even think about punishing Luke or Hermes. Otherwise I will make sure to snap your Master Bolt in half, and give Hades back his Helm" Zeus looked livid, but Athena asked curiously "Wait, so Hades Helm of Darkness was stolen to?"
"Yes, it was. But I have things to deal with, so I will return Luke to camp, under my protection" I stated fiercely as I stared Zeus in the eye.
"Then I must begin construction of cabins and shrines for all the minor gods and goddesses. While I do that, I will be gathering all demigods from ages 6 and up, and bringing them to Camp Half-Blood. So if y'all have any children I need to gather, have Hermes bring me a list. That also goes for all gods and goddesses, even if they are not Olympians" I said fiercely.
I teleported me and Luke back to camp, where I created forty clones to guard Luke, eight hundred clones to build cabins and shrines for the minor gods, and left for a little road trip across the USA, looking for demigods.
