I know I will regret continue this story! Even now as I am speaking it's still irritates me with so few readers it got! I will be whining again and again how little readers I got blah blah blah in the future. Sigh… I think I am a natural whiner.

Anyway I decide to continue this story for the reviews. The readers are still too few for my liking, I don't think it will reach a 100 readers with the new chapter anytime soon, but I have the tendency that I often view my possession as if they have feelings (I know that sounds weird). And I view this story as if one of my babies, so I will continue it.

But let's make one thing clear. The reviews are what make me continue this story. It is unfair for those minorities who had been reviewing so I decided to continue for them and for myself. So if you care to read what happen next, review. (I know I sound like a b… and A-hole here but this is how it is with this story) I will try not to complain too much and keep the story going. Now, enjoy. D:

Guest: AS I have said, it's not always about reviews, though I won't deny that Reviews play a big part in it. I also have stories that don't get a lot of reviews but I continue them. However when there are NO READERS and LESS RESPONDS, it drained me out. I know this may sound rude and many authors went through this, but after the entire day and not even 50 people have touch the story, yes, it drained me out. That's very few readers for Inuyasha fanfic. I spend hours after hours typing up and editing and so few people read it.

Yes, the number of the review reaches nearly 10 reviews per chapter, but it took up the entire year. I don't think people would want to wait for another year to read the next chapter when I reach another 10 reviews. (If all I care is about reviews that is).

I do appreciate every review and most people knew so. I have been there when there is 1 review per chapter or none. However, let's face it. This story is lacking readers, and in compares to my other stories, I don't feel like writing. That's just the way I am.

There's no point in continue a story that very few people read and drain me out at the same time. I would just focus on stories that I write and makes me and readers happy. Because once I am unhappy, I can't write. And when I can't write, my other stories will be put on hold as well until my mood improves. And I write because I love writing and happy when I write. So why bother with the story that makes me unhappy?

Thanks for pointed that out. I do understand what you are saying, but I feel drained out all the same.

In the next two days, Sesshomaru was forced to listen to the girl's talks since he was still could not move. He thought his ears would soon fall off with her nonstop chatters.

He was once again forced to wonder how one could talk so much. Where did she pull all those nonsense topics from?

She could started the-one-side-conversation with birds and ended up with something like hell or rocks, or swords, or on a topic that had no connection to each other whatsoever. Ignoring her did not work either. The only time she stopped talking was when she went hunting or slept.

He was very tempting to help put her into a deep sleep himself or simply sliced her head off and shut her up for good.

Sesshomaru sent her many deadly glares, the glares that he was proud of because it made people cowered and trampled with fears, but he found it was still far from perfect. The girl did not even flinch.

He made a mental note to perfect his glares. If he could scare this airheaded of a girl, he could scare anyone. That was his new goal.

The girl, he found out her name was Rin, had been insisted on tending to his wounds. He did not see the necessary in it, he would heal by himself with time, but she kept on pushing, whining with something akin to worry. Her eyes spoke clearly even when her voice did not. That pity look annoyed him. He was Sesshomaru, son of the Lord of the Western Land, and was not some weakling she would need to worry over.

To get rid of those annoying look that disgusted him, he allowed her to tend his wounds. A part of him still wondered why he would allow a mere human to touch him when it should irritated him worst that those worries in her eyes. But he quickly pushed the thought aside. He would only tolerate her until his wounds healed and could travel again. Once that happen, he would never see this ignorance human again.

Sesshomaru watched as she skipped happily to gathered herbs. Why was she so happy? What was so great about it? He could not understand her.

He was expecting her to bring back human herbs that would do him absolutely no good, but it turned out to be one that he recognized for demons. This human knew what she was doing, he mused. There was more to her then met in the eye.

And with the medication, he was forced to reveal his vulnerable state and humiliated himself to the human girl once more. However, if it meant he could get away from her none stop chatting that polluted his ears so badly then he would grit his teeth and went through with it.

Gentle fingers ran lightly across his chest and abdomen as she bandaged him. He could feel her pulse quickened and her cheeks raised a light pick color.

Humans and their emotions! He snorted inwardly.

"I'm done," she smiled happily and quickly cleaned up the area. She was avoiding his eyes. Her breath hitched slightly as she tried hard to make it appeared normal.

What was wrong with her?

He was curios, but he would not bother himself with her. She was annoying enough as it was.

And for once, the day continue in silent. A moment of peace. Or as peaceful as her annoying heartbeats would allow anyway.

The day ended and the night came.

Rin was preparing herself and talked some more until she slept. The moon was bright tonight and the wind was a little cold. The leaves wrestled as the wind traveled and touched them. He could finally enjoy the sound of nature that had not been polluted by the voice of the human girl.

Then the time finally came.

Sesshomaru stood up, stretched his stiffed muscles and started to walk. He turned to give the annoying human one last glance. She was sleeping soundly. She would not be happy when she found out he was gone. From the way she had been fusing over him, she might cry as she searched for him.

Pathetic.

He had no intention to be in her present another second longer. If it were not for the fact that she had saved him, he would have killed her before he leave.

So he left.

Sesshomaru continued walking in his calculative and grateful strides under the moonlight. His long silver hair riddled down his back on his walk. The soft white silk fabric that had been torn and smeared with blood two days ago was now clean. His clothes had cleaned and repaired itself while he had rested. The freshly repaired attire that looked as good as new added more grace to his appearance.

He felt great and refresh.

Only, the face of the human girl who would startle awake a few hours from now and would blindly reach for him, worried over him, would not leave his mind. He did not care. No, he did not. But somehow it kept playing inside his head.

Her lively voice asking him pointless questions flew into his mind. Now that he would never have to listen to it again, it suddenly did not sound so terrible. Her voice was lively and… happy.

Sesshomaru was heading west. It would not take him long to reach his military base, the place he originally intent to go before he was interrupted by the human girl.

Suddenly he paused in his footstep, his head turned to the direction she had been. He sensed demons, three or more, running toward her. Fast!

It matter not what would happen to her, he told himself. She was not any of his business.

Sesshomaru then continued walking. The girl was strong. She could defense herself.

But she might never get the chance to defense herself. She was sound asleep when he left. What if she got attack before she could even open her eyes?

Even if her eyes were opened, she was as good as blind in the veil of the black night. She may be a great fighter during the day, but once nightfall, it was a different story. He had seen how blind human were without the sun.

Even so, she was not his business.

But her smiling face refused to leave his mind. He groaned inwardly at the thought of listening to her nonsense chatter again. The headaches that he would have to endure in the future.

But he knew she had nowhere to go. She had told him somewhat about her life story. She lived far away and was struggling to find a way back. She did not know where it was or how to get there. She was all by herself and maybe that was why her mental state became unstable. Which human in their right mind would be happy being with a demon?

Even so, he turned around and made a dash toward her. His face remained stoic, but his feet running at their full speeds. The demons should be in on her about now.

It did not take long for him to reach her.

The sight before him did not surprise him. Rin was holding onto her knife, stood her ground against three demons. Her entire body was soaked in blood.

No, they were not her blood.

One of the large demons had become armless. It should be their heads.

Sesshomaru let his whip intervene the fight and quickly cut the demons clean.

It annoyed him that she was too soft. She could easily kill them, but no, she just had to spear their lives.

"Lord Sesshomaru, you're back!" she cried happily at the sight of him.

He reframed himself from groaning out loud at the hyper girl!

What was he thinking coming back here? He would never find peace again.

"You took too long to kill them," he stated coldly.

"I didn't intent to kill them," she pouted slightly.

"Even when they were trying to kill you?" he turned to fully faced her.

"If it could be avoid, yes."

He wanted to roll his eyes. She was strong and skill, but she was so weak will. What would she accomplish with that kind of thinking of hers?

Human!

"Where have you been? I was so worry," Rin told him, scanned him up and down for injures.

That was an insult to think that he could be harmed. But he quickly pushed that thought aside.

"You need a bath." he told her and led her toward the river. She happily followed without a question.

He was still mentally kicking at himself for coming back. And since he had come back, she would be sticking to him like glues.

Not that he would try and pearl her off, but it would still be annoying.

What he had he gotten himself into?!

Thanks for the reviews. Since I already reply most reviews by PM, I will only answer guest reviews here. :D

And as for the reading speed we were talking a while back, you don't have to understand the line. All you have to do is read as fast as you can :D
