Hello everyone, hows it going did you miss me
I apologize that it took so long to make an update but I did say that'll be quite some time before I upload another chapter. So those who have waited patiently, thank you
Also to help alleviate some confusion that might happen in the chapter

Now without further ado, lets begin
"Greed-Ling the Avaricious? What an odd name" Ozpin said with amusement when he heard what the little Grim bunny called itself before going into thought. The little Grim's name raised some questions because Grim are manifestation of people's negative emotions and sins. To hear a Grim say its name was essentially the sin Greed made him weary to what this may mean but for now his attention is directed elsewhere as he watched the small Grim type his response
"Says the guy with the weird ass name himself" Greed made his retort on the Scroll
"Touché" Ozpin muttered in amusement, though he couldn't help but think Greed is like a rebellious snarky child. Much to his amusement because it honestly feels like he's talking to one of the more laid back students he has in his academy. Ozpin was brought out once again from his thoughts when Greed typed in his next sentence
"So what now, or are we just going to sit here and circle jerk like a bunch of neanderthals" Greed joked which made Velvet blush at the image he made while the others just let out a snort of laughter
Ozpin himself let out a chuckle "No, I suggest we have a test of sorts and I have something in mind" Ozpin said before taking out his own Scroll before typing something. Once he was done he got up "Come, let's head down to professor Ports class. I already messaged him and his class is already over" Ozpin said as Coco let out a breath of relief
"Hallelujah" Coco said throwing her hands in the air as she didn't want to go back to that boring class as the others silently agreed.
Velvet took her Scroll back from Greed before picking him up and carried him in her arms. She then followed Ozpin along with her team into the elevator as it took them down to ground level. Once out of the elevator they headed towards Port's classroom that took a few minutes before reaching the door to the class
Once Greed saw who port was one thought crossed his mind 'Dear lord he's like a fat Armstrong' Greed thought in shock, especially because he met the strong arm alchemist before in his old world. Hell he even has the mustache like the strong arm, just dye his hair blonde, add a cowlick, throw in some sparkles and you can just swear he was related to the Armstrong family
"Ah, welcome headmaster" Port said in a jovial tone
"Hell Peter, did you bring it" Ozpin asked of his colleague
"Yes but I do have to ask what was the reason you needed Edgar?" Port inquired with a raised
'Edgar?' Greed thought curiously while he noticed the girls and boys were looking at them wide eyed "The hell is going on?" Greed muttered before hitting his head against Velvet's arms to get her attention
Velvet looked at him before looking back at the professors "Um, what exactly are you planning to do?" Velvet asked curiously with a hint of fear for what was going to happen to Greed
"We're just going to have Greed interact with Edgar and see what happens" Ozpin said taking a sip of his never ending supply of coffee
"What's an Edgar?" Greed asked as they weren't referring to a person that much he can tell
"Greed?" Port asked curiously
"Ah, I'll explain once Dr. Oobleck-" Ozpin didn't finish when someone burst through the door and went up to them like a blur
"You called headmaster!" A wild green haired individual exclaimed before drinking his coffee in quite a rapid pace
"Yes thank you for coming Bartholomew, I asked you both to be here because it seems Ms. Scarlatina discovered a new type of Grim that is quite intelligent" Ozpin explained before pointing at Greed who was nestled in Velvet's arms
"My word look at this adorable specimen, I never seen such a docile Grim. This is truly a moment for all of mankind to remember" Oobleck exclaimed excitedly in a rapid pace while snatching Greed out of Velvet's arms and then began spinning around in circles while holding Greed up high in the air
"Someone get this man some damn decaf!" Greed shouted as he was getting somewhat dizzy
"Fascinating, and you say this Grim is intelligent" Port asked which Ozpin responded with a nod "Amazing, this reminds me of an old story of my past where-" Port began to ramble on as Greed stared at him when Oobleck stopped spinning
'Dear lord he is a fat Armstrong' Greed deadpanned as he remembered the original Armstrong liked to talk about his family ancestory or whatever crap he spouted. He was going to let out a sigh before flinching when he felt something poke his head to see Oobleck was moving his head around
"Its rather fascinating to actually find a Grim that doesn't attack us, no matter its size and shape" Oobleck stated with interest while Greed just stared at him dryly before letting out a rabbit equivalent of a huff
'What am I, some kind of plush toy' Greed thought dryly at how he is being handled by the supposed doctor
"Now you two that's enough, that's not what I brought you here to see" Ozpin stated bringing the two professors out of their actions
"Why did you bring us here in the first place?" Coco asked curiously from her new position sitting on a random desk table while the others sat down on the actual seats behind the table. Velvet was the only one who was still standing with the professors at the moment
"To see what happens when Greed here interacts with Edgar" Ozpin stated calmly as this piqued everyone's interest
"Seriously, what the hell is an Edgar"Greed asked once more irritably when no one responded to him
"Fascinating, I can't wait to see what happens or if there is any response between the two" Oobleck said excitedly
'I now have a bad feeling about this' Greed thought solemnly at the doctor's excitement for this experiment
"Now I suggest we all move away, if you mind putting Greed down" Ozpin asked of his colleague who complied and did as so "Come let us move away so Edgar can come out" Ozpin said as he went to stand with the students sitting down with Oobleck and Velvet who gave him a nervous look before sitting with her team
"Okay? What the hell is going on?" Greed asked himself before noticing something shaking in the corner of his eyes. He turned his body to see a massive crate that he swore wasn't there before 'Where did that crate come from?' Greed thought as he more interested in the box than what was moving inside it
He then saw Port carry a gun/axe and walked right up next to the crate. Port swung his weapon as it broke the lock on the crate as the opening flew off the hinges.
Greed just stared silently as the massive wolf-like creature stepped out of the crate with a howl ". . . . Oh~, so that's Edgar. . . Well shit" Greed said dryly
The Beowolf looked around and growled at the students and professors before stopping when it noticed Greed. It stopped what it was doing and looked directly at Greed
Greed, the Beowolf looked directly at him, swore he heard something, an echo of a familiar sound. Yet at the same time it wasn't familiar, it was as if it was the same yet it wasn't, he couldn't put his nonexistent finger on it but he swore he knew this sound. But he felt something else that he knew from the piss-ant when he took over their shared body, he was hungry
The Beowolf knew this as well as it took a step back out of fear when Greed stood on his hind legs
"Is. . Is the Beowolf afraid of Greed" Velvet asked in shock at what she is seeing
"I-I think it is" Coco said in awe as her sunglasses drooped from their spot on her face to reveal her eyes widened with shock
"Remarkable" Oobleck said as he pulled out some papers and started to take notes of what is happening
"But what is he able to do, he's just a-" Fox didn't get to finish when Greed suddenly launched himself at the larger Grim
The Beowolf tried to slash at Greed but missed when he suddenly turned into his snake form and wrapped around it's arm. Greed then slithered up the Beowolf's arm who, which shocked everyone with what it did, bit its own arm off but that didn't stop Greed from what he was planning on doing next. Greed launched himself off the falling arm and into the Beowolf's mouth and slithered down its throat.
This single act caused everyone to stand up straight as their jaws dropped at what they just saw Greed do before they were shocked even more with what happened next. The Beowolf started clawing at its own chest, ripping its own flesh off its body in attempt to get to Greed. The Beowolf then let out a strangled croak as it fell back with a thud before it started to convulse and thrash about it in pain. It then finally stopped and laid still as the light in its eyes died.
Everyone just stared at the now dead Grim not sure what to say about what they all saw. Before anyone could even say a word the Beowolf's body started to contract onto itself instead of dissolving into nothing like most Grim would do when they die. It contracted and melted into a black ball of mass the size of human head.
The ball soon started to mold into another shape, which soon revealed itself to be Greed but slightly different to what he was before. Instead of being the size of a small bunny he was now the size of a young adult rabbit. After his body took form his forehead where his mask was bubbled before dissolving into his skin and a bone plate manifested on his chest where the ouroboros symbol was printed neatly on the bone plate. The now visible forehead still seemed to bubble for a bit more before settling down, that is until something burst out of his forehead
Everyone stared at Greed who seemed at of it at the moment as he was still a rabbit but not just a rabbit, a jackalope to be precise with those two antlers sticking out of his skull
"Ugh, my head, what happened?" Greed muttered to himself while rolling his neck as he felt his head was heavier than it should "The last thing I remember was the Beowolf looking down at me and I just felt hungry for some reason" Greed muttered before he heard something, it was the sound he was hearing when he saw the Beowolf but louder and clear "I know this sound" Greed said as he spent a lot of time drowning out the sound he was so accustomed to in the past "Ah how I missed the sound of the wailing souls in the back of my head. . . Well one soul but still" Greed mused as he could actually hear a soul wailing lightly in the back of his mind.
The main difference between this soul and the souls back when he had a philosopher stone in him was the fact the one's in the stone were louder and had more vigor to their wails. This soul that was wailing felt tired, not even trying to scream out for help, like its entire being gave up in sorrow and was only screaming because it had to without a purpose
Greed just listened in to the soul and felt actual pity for it, the thing had nothing left to live for but also wanted others to feel its own sorrows "Maybe that's why Grim attack people. They feel the emotions humans give out and are drawn towards them. They want the positive but when the humans see them, they feel the negative and go into a rage, wishing to experience the positive, to understand what it is. Because of this they only understand the negative emotions humans give out but they want the positive, wanting to have what they naturally don't have. A genuine soul that feels peace and love, so because of that the only way they think they could get what humans have within them it is to devour humans in hope to get to the roots of those emotions. I don't know whether to pity them or feel mad that they were born so cruelly to know what emotions are but don't have the capacity to truly understand the better qualities of said emotions that they just attack people to try and understand them better"Greed muttered dryly as he hopped on over to the others before stopping
It was then he realized that he was much bigger than he was before "Huh, seems whatever I did the Grim made me get bigger" Greed muttered to himself as he looked over his body before realizing he had a breast plate. Greed looked at it before twitching his much longer ears and felt them brush against something. Greed tried to look up at what it was to no avail and only saw something in the back of his eyes when he looked up
Greed let out a huff before continuing on his way towards the group watching him. He was planning on hopping up the steps to get a better positing to look them in the eye before stopping and stared at the desks. Greed stared at them and hummed in his mind as he crouched down before pushing himself up with a giant leap. He flew through the air surprising everyone with his actions as he landing on the edge of the desk with only the upper portion of his body making it while the rest was hanging off the ledge. Greed kicked his legs against the side of the table and pushed him right on top of the table in front of Velvet who was looking at him curiously
Greed then did some gestures when he stood on his hind legs and moved his front paws around his face
"Uh~ what?" Velvet asked not really understanding his charade
"I want a damn mirror" Greed said dryly that just came out as some random pitch of squeaks while continuing to move his hands around his face
"I think he wants to know what he looks like" Coco guessed as she stared intently at him. Greed nodded as Coco pulled out a hand mirror and held it in front of him
Greed looked at the changes and let out a huff "Well I'm a jackalope now, better than being a cute bunny I guess" Greed muttered as he stared at his antlers in thought
"Remarkable, to think he could just change like that after absorbing the Beowolf. Simply remarkable" Oobleck said in exuberance
"Remarkable isn't the word I would use to describe the carnage I just saw" Port muttered with a huff at the blood of Grim evaporating off his floor of his classroom
Ozpin took a sip of his coffee before pulling out his Scroll and placed it next to Greed "So tell me, how do you feel" Ozpin asked of Greed who snapped out of his thoughts before looking at the Scroll
Greed was about to turn into his snake self but felt something was off. When he tried to change, nothing happened. Greed blinked and tried to change to no avail which the others noticed
"Seems you can no longer turn into a snake now" Ozpin stated while letting out a hum of thought
Greed let out a pant as he exhausted himself trying to force his body to change 'Well that's bullshit, I can't change anymore. So you're telling me the only way to change forms is to stay as a little bunny and to become bigger and more intimidating I will need useless antlers. Just want can I do with these things, it's not like I can just stab someone who is much faster than m-' Greed didn't finish that train of thought as his antlers sharpened to a point and extended outward like a speeding bullet as the points of his antlers impaled parts of the walls and ceiling
Everyone just stared at what Greed did while others were pointing their weapons at him from instinct "Uh, Greed could you, retract your antlers. . Please" Velvet pleaded as Greed realized his antlers hit the back of the seat Velvet was sitting at, just an inch from her neck
"Shit!" Greed cursed and retracted his antlers before realizing that he just pierced hard wood but also concrete from the walls 'Huh, seems my body gave up Envy's shape shifting to have Lust's Ultimate Spear. I could dig that' Greed thought before moving his antlers around like an extra pair of limbs
He then looked at the Scroll that was still next to him and wondered something. He molded his antlers to a dull point and then extended them outward onto the Scroll as it began typing ever so erratically.
Everyone just stared at what he did until he pressed play "So, got anymore of those Grim around"
