Here is the epilogue. I don't own anything you recognize.
5 Years Later:
Ross proposed to Ratliff. It was, well, beautiful. He sang the song Marry You by Bruno Mars to start it off, and then said "Ellington Lee Ratliff, ever since we met in 'The Rage' dance studio in 2008, I have loved you so, so, so very much. You are the glue that holds R5 together. But you are also the glue that holds me together. When I was fake-dating Laura, she was so annoying, I always let my anger out on you about how she was horrible and that I would rather we could be together in public. But we couldn't. Because of Disney. Because of Hollywood Records. But now that we are not signed with them, I can finally say 'I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.' So, will you marry me?"
"Of course! Ross, that was so beautiful. I know how you always say you're not good with words, but you are," Ratliff cried out of happiness.
"I love you so much," Ross said.
"I love you, too," Ratliff said and kissed him on the lips.
Rydel also volunteered to be the surrogate for the Rosslington baby, which they agreed to, because then the baby would have both of their DNA. Obviously, Ratliff provided the sperm. But they didn't have sex. The sperm was medically implanted into one of Rydel's eggs.
On March 20th, Rydel found out she was pregnant. She went to her doctor's office for confirmation the next day.
"ROSS! ELL!" Rydel yelled as she walked into the living room.
"WHAT?" Ross yelled walking down the stairs with Ellington.
"You two are gonna be daddies," Rydel revealed.
"Really? That's amazing!" Ellington said.
"Wait. How are we gonna tell Riker?" Ross asked.
"He agreed to this, right?" Rydel answered.
"Well, yeah, but he might react a little differently when he finds out it worked," Ross said.
"True. But that doesn't mean we don't have to tell him. Or the rest of the family. When you start showing, how are you gonna hide it for that long?" Ellington reasoned.
"I'm so scared," Rydel whispered.
"GUYS! LIVING ROOM! NOW!" Ross yelled.
"Ross, my ears hurt. I was just in the kitchen," Rocky said pointing to the kitchen door.
"What the heck? You made me lose my Call of Duty game!" Riker yelled.
"What is it?" Ryland asked.
"Ross, you don't have to yell," Stormie said.
"Everyone's here. Tell us what you need to," Mark said.
"OK, so everyone here knows this, but I volunteered to be the surrogate for the Rosslington baby. It worked. I am five weeks pregnant," Rydel answered.
"As long as Ell provided the sperm, I'm fine with it," Mark said.
"Of course," Rydel responded.
When she wasn't looking, Riker appeared in front of her, kneeling, and said "Hey, baby. I'm your Uncle Riker. I know you probably can't hear me right now, but your daddies are gonna be amazing." Everyone looked at him with a shocked look.
"What?" Riker asked.
"Nothing. We just thought you were gonna freak out," Rydel answered.
"Well, I'm not freaking out," Riker said.
"We can see that," Ross said.
9 Months Later:
"WHY DID I EVER AGREE TO THIS? THIS IS SO PAINFUL!" Rydel yelled.
"It will be worth it when you see him for the first time," Ellington comforted her.
"OK, would you like an epidural?" the doctor, Dr. Martin, asked.
"Yes. Yes please," Rydel answered.
5 Hours Later:
"THIS HURTS!" Rydel said as she was pushing the baby out.
"Is he even crowning?" Ross asked.
"Just one more big push, Rydel," Dr. Martin said.
"I can't," Rydel said.
"You can. Do it for his daddies," Ross said.
Rydel gave one more big push, and Thomas Elijah Ratliff-Lynch was born. Ellington and Ross Ratliff-Lynch finally had a son. Not biologically, but his uncles and grandparents were biologically his. And that's all that mattered in that moment. Because as Ellington and Ross held him for the first time, they loved him and knew that they would do anything for him.
It's kinda hard for me to write about pregnancies, so I skipped a few months.
Also, with the birth, that was also hard for me to write, mainly because I'm only 14.
