Danielle stood in a small gym in New York with Fury. They watch Steve Rogers continued to hit the gym bag. Danielle had never through she would ever get a chance to meet the man her grandfather spoke a bout all the time, but here she was looking at him wondering what was going on inside his head.
Steve punched the bag one last time and the chain the bag were hanging from snapped and the bag when flying across the room. Steve sighed as he picked up another punching bag from the line he had lay out and hooked it onto the ceiling and started off with a light punch.
"Trouble sleeping?" Fury asked.
"I slept for 70 years sir, i think i had my rest." Steve said as he unwrap the tap from his hand.
"Well then you should be out celebrating, seeing the world." Fury said.
Steve turned around to speak to the man he had meet a few weeks ago, but he stopped when he sees a woman standing beside him. Steve know he had never seen the woman before, but there was something familiar about her.
"Cap, I´d like to introduce you to one of my best agents. Rose White."
"Captain." Danielle said with a nod of her head.
"Ma´am."
"When i went under, the world was at war. I wake up and they say we won, but the did´t say we lost." Steve said as he looked between Danielle and Fury before he turned and walked over and sitting on a bench.
"We´ve made some mistakes along the way, some very recently." Danielle said as she looked over at Fury.
"You here with a mission, sir?" Steve asked.
"I am." Fury said.
"Trying to get me back into the world."
"We´ re trying to save it." Danielle said as she held out a large folder to Steve and it had a black stamp with S.H.I.E.L.D. loge on it.
Steve took the folder and opened it up to the page with a picture of the Tesseract." Hydra´s secret weapon."
"Howard Stark fished that out of the water when he was looking for you." Danielle said.
"He through what we think." Fury continued." The Tesseract could be the key to unlimited sustainable energy. That is something the world needs dearly."
"Who took it from you?" Steve asked as he once again looked between Danielle and Fury.
"His name is Loki. He´s not from around here. There´s a lot we have to bring you up to speed if you are in." Fury asked.
"The world has gotten a lot stranger then you already know." Danielle told him.
"At this point, i doubt anything would surprise me." Steve said standing up and headed towards the gym bags on the floor beside the punching bags and tucked the folder inside the bag and closed it. He reached up and unhook the punching bag from the chain and put the bag over his shoulder.
"Is there anything we need to know about the Tesseract?" Fury asked as Steve walked past them.
"You should have left it in the ocean." Steve said as he walked towards the ... of the gym.
"Well that when well." Danielle said as she followed after him.
24 Hours later. Steve and Danielle stepped out of her car and he looked around cause everything had chanced so much in the 70 years he had been a sleep.
"Follow me." Danielle said as she headed towards the Jet that would take Steve to the helicarrier, Danielle smiled when she sees Coulson standing there waiting for them and she could see he was trying to be cool about it, but Danielle know that fan girl inside Coulson was screaming.
"Trying to play it cool, huh?"
"You are late." Coulson said with a smile on his face as he looked towards Steve.
"Welcome Captain Rogers. It´s a pleasure to meet you." Coulson said sounding so professionally.
"Coulson, right?" Steve said as he held out his hand for Coulson to shake and Danielle had to hid the laugh that was trying to slip past her lips as she sees Coulson staring at Steve´s hand.
"Shake his hand."
"Oh, right." Coulson said snapping out of his trance, shaking the captain´s hand." I am a big fan." He said with a smile on his face.
"So true." Danielle said laughing as she turned around to face Steve." You are in good hands. It was nice to meet you Captain Rogers." Danielle said.
"You are not coming with us?" Steve asked with a confusing look on his face.
"She has a mission to tend to." Coulson said holding out the backpack she had with her when she had arrived." Be safe." Coulson said cause he knew where she was going and he didn´t like it one bit.
"I always am." She said swinging the backpack over her shoulder." Captain, Coulson." She said small nod as she walked past the two men that turned to watch her walk towards the small plain that was on the runway.
Moscow. 24 hours later.
Danielle were walking into the ballroom of the Hilton hotel, she stayed in the shadow as she waited for her target. Erik Gorgon and she spotted him talking to a woman by a table near by a large window and she knew it was now our never, but before she could do anything machine gun fire tore through the windows of the party.
She hit the ground just like all the other guest, she looked up to see Gorgon had laying on the ground as he tried to cover the woman with his body, she knew she was running out of time so she had to think fast. She looked around the room and an idea came to her as she see the broken champagne glass laying in front of her, she quickly grabbed the broken glass and walked towards Gorgon and pushed the broken glass into his back a few times and when she felt him go limp in her arms she let go of him, making him fall down on to of the woman who screamed out Gorgon´s name. Danielle quickly, slipped out of the room with a smile on her face, placing the broken champagne food into the pocked of her jacked so she could get rid it later cause she need to get out of there in a hurry before anyone realized what had happened.
Danielle walked down the street of Moscow when he phone rang, she reached her hand into the pocked of her jacked and pulled out her phone and answered the call." Yes."
"It is me." She heard Fury´s voice saying.
"I can´t really talk right now." She said as she turned her head as she sees police cars speeding down the road that would lead them to the Hilton hotel.
"Caoulson is dead." Fury said.
"What?" Danielle asked with a shocked look on her face.
"He was killed a few hours ago." Fury said with a heavy sigh.
"Who?"
"Dan.."
"Who!"
"Loki."
"I am on my way." Danielle said as she hurried across the street and walked down the sidewalk until she turned around a corner that would lead her to the apartment she was staying in.
"No, you stay there .."
"You just told me Coulson was killed and you want me to do nothing! Not going to happen."
"Tony is here."
Danielle stopped in her tracks as she heard Fury saying her dad´s name." Then what do you want me to do? I can´t just sit here and do nothing."
"T.A.H.I.T.I."
"Are you sure you know about the risk involved."
"Yes."
"What do you want me to do?" Danielle asked as she started to walk towards her apartment building." Nick?" Danielle said as she heard him letting out a sigh on the other end.
"Come home." Fury said before he ended the call.
Danielle smile to herself as she hurried up the stairs,but her smile vanished as she walked into apartment to find a man waiting for her and before she could react, she felt a warm sensation in her chest. Clasping her hand to her chest, she looked down at her palm to see it was covered in blood. She fall onto the floor.
The man got down on his knees beside her and he moved the hair that had falling over her eyes away so he could look at her." So the rumors are true." he said as he started at her for a few second." Danielle Stark is alive and well. Maybe not so well anymore." The man said with a grin on his face.
"You made a mistake." Danielle said in a low voice.
"What is that?" The man said as he leaned closer towards Danielle so he could hear what she was trying to say and all of the sudden his eyes wide as he felt something sharp being pushed into his chest and he looked down and saw what looked like the foot of a champagne sticking out of his chest.
"Never get to close." She said as she pushed the piece of glass deeper in to his chest.
The man fall down beside her with his eyes staring at her, she cried out in pain as she moved onto her back and reached her hand into the pocked of her jacked and pulled out her phone and dialed a number, she waited for the phone to be answered.
"Code word." A woman´s voice said answering the call.
"Ghost." Danielle said as she tried her best not to black out before she had said what she need to say.
"Go ahead agent Stark."
"I have been shot and..." Was all she got out as the phone fall from her hand as her eyes closed.
"Agent Stark are you there?" The woman´s voice asked." Agent Stark! I am sending a team your way." The woman said before she ended the call.
