Okay so I know this is tremendously late and whatnot so thank you for putting up with me and all my laziness and computer problems and thanks to all of you who reviewed and favorited and followed because you guys make me so happy when I get a new email saying one of those things! So this is for Percabeth week on Tumblr that finally got my lazy fingers to start typing this which was started about a billion years ago. Thanks again!

Jason's POV

I don't know how it happened.

One minute they had been talking and laughing, and you could see why she went out of her mind to save this guy, and then in the next they had swords pointed at each other's necks. Literally.

Oh, did I forget to mention who I was talking about? It was none other than the famous Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase.

We had been on the Argo II for no longer than a day, and these two were already fighting. How did they survive when they weren't separated for months at a time?

I mean, it was obvious the two cared for each other, if Annabeth's panic over Percy's disappearance hadn't proved that, but how could two people care that much for each other if they couldn't even stand to be around each other for a day?

I looked back over at the couple to see they were now arguing over something as they continued to fight, looking as if they were about to throw each other off the side of the boat.

"Do you have any clue what this is about?" I asked, turning to Leo.

"No, and to be honest I don't think anybody does," He said, laughing.

I watched for a few more minutes until Annabeth had Percy pinned up against the side of the boat, her sword at his throat. "Surrender Seaweed Brain?" She asked, laughing.

"Yeah, yeah, Wise Girl, now get off of me," He replied, putting away Riptide.

Annabeth put away her sword, looking proud at her victory over her boyfriend, and the two continued laughing and talking as if they hadn't just tried to murder each other.

"I don't think I'll ever understand those two," I murmured to Leo, who laughed in agreement.

"I don't even think beauty queen gets it," He chuckled, and then began walking away to go do whatever Leo does.

Later on when I caught Percy in the dining hall on the ship, I tried to restrain myself but I had to ask, "What were you and Annabeth fighting about earlier today?"

Percy looks confused for a second, and then laughs, "Oh that? We were just arguing over which god or goddess was the best."

"You pulled swords out because you were arguing over which god or goddess was the best?" I ask incredulously.

"Eh, it happens all the time."

I stared at him for a moment, confused on how a relationship can survive if they fight all the time over things like that, before I just decide on asking, "So Annabeth won? Who did she say was the best?"

"Of course she won, she always wins," Percy said, looking annoyed at his girlfriend's ability to beat him, "And of course she just had to pick Athena."

"Well, she is her mother. I'm assuming you were saying Poseidon was the best?"

"Because he is! And I have an idea to get back at her and show her I was right…" Percy starts, but before his first battle plans are even out of his mouth, I realize Annabeth is standing at the doorway, listening.

I open my mouth to say something when Annabeth puts a finger over her mouth, puts her cap on her head, and disappears. I look around startled for a moment, thinking she must have just run off somewhere and I must not have noticed it when I realize Percy is still talking.

When he finishes describing his battle plans, I tell him that it's bound to work and that there's no way Annabeth would know what hit her, and he walks off, looking proud at his plans.

Annabeth appeared beside me, laughing, her hat in her hands.

"How did you do that?" I ask, looking wide-eyed at her.

"You mean disappear like that?" She asks, then holds up her hat, "Gift from my mom, lets me turn invisible when I wear it. It's great for spying on certain people when they try to make a revenge plan against a daughter of Athena."

I laugh, and then reply, "Yeah, it does seem to be great for that. Percy's never going to know what happened."

"Oh don't worry, he barely does anyways," She said, a smirk on her face.

My eyes widen, surprised she would say something like that about her boyfriend that she went crazy looking for, when she laughs, saying, "I'm just kidding. Well, some of the time at least."

I was starting to see a pattern between these two. If I didn't know any better, I would mistake them for best friends, and not realize they were in a relationship.

Later on though, when Percy's failed revenge attempt upon Annabeth has failed, and Percy is left grumbling to himself while we all eat dinner, and I saw Annabeth laugh and his cheek, love shining in her eyes, and then Percy would sneak glances of Annabeth, and would wrap his arm around her shoulder I realized that these two were more than both. They were more than two teenagers in a relationship, and were more than best friends. They were two people who were so completely in love they would die for each other.

And then they almost do.

So I hope you guys all liked it and it was worth the stupid amount of time this took to put up. I'm so sorry for that, really. (I'm also sorry for that ending because I'm a terrible person who likes to cause pain apparently.)

Please leave reviews telling me what you did and didn't like!
