Once they entered the castle, they all split up until it was just Poseidon and Zeus walking towards their English class with Professor Tilton. Zeus couldn't help but notice that Poseidon seemed to have more of a bounce in his steps. Poseidon suddenly whirled around to see that Peter following them and he got that creeped out feeling that Peter was going to do something to him. Zeus turned around and scowled when he saw that Peter was following them.
"Why are you following us?" Poseidon demanded.
"I-I h-h-have E-e-e-English with P-p-p-Professor T-t-t-Tilton," Peter stuttered out backing up a little.
"That doesn't mean that you can stalk Zeus and I," Poseidon replied with anger in his voice.
"Don't waste your anger on him Poseidon. He is not worth a detention," Zeus calmly stated while grabbing Poseidon's hand, but neither noticed the flash of anger that appeared in Peter's eyes. Poseidon nodded his head and they began walking again to the classroom on the first floor with Peter behind them.
"Do you remember how long we are taught here at Olympia?" Poseidon asked Zeus with his head tilted to his right.
"We are taught for eight years unless we are so advanced then it is shorter, but I don't know how much shorter," Zeus replied. They then walked into the classroom and claimed a seat right next to a boy, who was sitting in the front of the classroom, with short black hair and electric blue eyes. His skin was tan and around five feet and one inch.
"My name is Magnar. I just got accepted into Olympia last night and was sorted into the Panther house," he introduced himself with a smile gracing his face. Zeus and Poseidon shook his hand and began to introduce themselves.
"My name is Zeus. I was sorted into the Eagle house."
"My name is Poseidon and I was also sorted into the Eagle house."
"Nice to meet you. My brother, Theseus, is also in the Eagle house and a very pale boy is sitting right next to him," Magnar said while pointing to the back of the room. They turned around to see that it was Peter that was sitting next to him and they noticed that Theseus with his jet-black hair and brown eyes was scowling. He also had olive toned skin and was around the same height as Magnar.
"That would be Peter. We met him on the train where he creeped me out," Poseidon said with a shudder after he turned around.
Magnar's eyes narrowed and asked, "Creeped you out how?"
"He was looking at Poseidon like he was a piece of meat and I have a feeling that he is going to try something eventually," Zeus muttered.
"I'll tell my siblings and we'll try to help you keep an eye on Peter," Magnar replied.
"Really?" They both asked, but before Magnar could reply the Professor walked into the room. He was about five feet and five inches with light brown hair, blue eyes that seemed to twinkle, and porcelain colored skin. The classroom quieted down and the teacher began to speak.
"Good morning class," he said.
"Good morning Professor," the class chorused together.
"If you haven't figured it out all ready my name is Professor Tilton and I teach English," Professor Tilton said. "Now, I am going to call roll and I want to say 'here' so that I may see who is who and to get to know each one of you as best as I can. The roll is alphabetically by first names."
He went through the names that started with an a all the way to h when he called.
"Hermes."
"Here."
Poseidon turned a little in his seat to see that Hermes was right across from them to their right and the teacher didn't seem to notice the bruises on him for he continued roll call.
"Magnar."
"Here."
"Peter."
"H-h-h-here."
"Poseidon."
"Here."
"Theseus."
"Here."
"Zeus."
"Here."
"Now that we are done with roll call let's do a little activity to wake you all up. I want you to pair yourself with anyone, except for your friends or siblings, and just ask each other questions until class is over," Professor Tilton explained happily while half the class groaned. Not wanting to be stuck with Peter, Poseidon quickly chose Hermes as his partner. Zeus partnered with Theseus and Magnar got stuck with Peter because the teacher paired them up. Hermes gave a small, shy smile at Poseidon, who returned the smile. Poseidon motioned for Hermes to start the questioning and he gladly did thankful he wouldn't have to answer any questions right away.
"Do you have any siblings?"
"No. I am an only child."
"When is your birthday?"
"February 1st."
"Do you wish you had siblings?"
"No."
"Why?" Hermes asked in confusion.
Poseidon sighed and whispered to Hermes, "Because my mother is abusive."
Hermes' eyes widened and replied he could understand the logic because his father was the one abusing him and that he was shielding his brother from that side of their father. Poseidon told Hermes that he ever needed to talk then to come to him and they could go somewhere private. Hermes nodded his head and motioned for Poseidon to start questioning him.
"What is your brother's name?"
"Hephaestus."
"When is your birthday?"
"April 1st."
"What is your talent?"
"Art, but its mostly paintings and ceramics."
"That's cool," Poseidon replied with a smile on his face. The bell suddenly began to ring and they all left the classroom. Zeus immediately caught up with Poseidon to see when they would be sharing another class together.
"I'll see you fourth period Poseidon," Zeus said with a smile on his face. He began to walk to the third floor while Poseidon was heading to his next class on the first floor.
"Bye Zeus," Poseidon replied. Hestia immediately caught up to him and whispered in his ear that Peter was following him. Poseidon just continued walking to the Math classroom without turning around to yell at Peter. It continued with Poseidon going to his classrooms with Peter following him for the rest of the day and Poseidon enjoying his friends company, but he was really looking forward to his last class of the day, which was Music.
Author's Note: I am sorry for taking so long to make this chapter, but I was having a major writer's block on this story. I am not abandoning the story don't worry.
