Chapter Three~

Margaret was feeling uneasy as she entered the office the next morning, although she couldn't fathom why she was letting Andrews promise get to her. She was a strong woman, she was not the type to fall at the knees of attractive men, or to succumb to the charms of the likes of Andrew. Nothing was going to be different today.

Except for how Andrew hadn't gotten her her morning coffee. Man, she longed for her favourite soy cinnamon latte. She threw her bag on her chair and sat down dejectedly, pouting slightly as she realised she might have to face the dreaded filter coffee machine in the staff room for her caffeine fix. She span around in the chair and pushed her hair back from her face, thinking how the only plus side was Andrews absence and his impending failure of fulfilling his promise (because, seriously, if he couldn't even get her a much needed latte he could not win).

But the more she thought about it, the more his absence made her uneasy. Where was he? Why wasn't he at work? Eventually she gave up guessing and made her way to the coffee machine. There was already a pot of coffee made and she poured herself a cup, leaving it black because she was sure the calories of milk would be a wasted attempt at adding flavour value. She stayed by the machine glowering for a full minute after pouring the coffee and closed her eyes, shuddering (so not a Starbucks worthy blend) and yelped as she felt someone grab her waist and pull her into the janitors closet.

She was not supervised , however, to see that her attacker was Andrew. Wow had he grown some balls since their trip to Alaska, and although she found this intensely and completely annoying she couldn't help but find it sexy as hell (she would never admit this, not even to stop an impending apocalypse).

"Andrew!" she chastised under her breath. "What the hell are you playing at?"

Andrew just smiled wolfishly, looking every bit the big balled manly man she'd been frequently dreaming about recently.

"Oh, nothing" His grin was suddenly lazy and nonchalant as he crushed her against the wall and laced his arms behind her back. "Just thought you needed rescuing. The coffee that bad, eh?"

"You found that funny?!" she hissed at the glistening laughter in his eyes. "You could catch all sorts of diseases from that crap, and you made me do it on purpose"

"Shut up, Margaret." Andrew responded and paused before adding "Does this make you uncomfortable?" in a surprised voice. The effect his closeness was having on her was evident in her pupils, which had dilated to about three times the size as normal.

"No. Don't be foolish, Andrew" She snapped, a little too quickly.

He laughed as a brush of his hand against her cheek made her breath hitch. "I beg to differ, dear."

"Well don't. Let me go". She said, punctuated wit a hard shove. "Andrew, darling, you're gunna have to try a little harder." she said with a flutter of her lashes once she'd ducked out of his arms and flung the door open.

She turned on her heel and left with as much dignity as a woman could walking out of a janitors cupboard.

Okay, Firstly I'd like to apologise for absolutely *ridiculous* amount of time it's taking em to write this and crazily fast this story is going downhill. i hope some of you will still enjoy this chap and i promise the next one will be longer and jucier (some big plans wink, wink ;) ) but i make no promises on when it will come as I never seem to stick to it! i will however try to update more than the once-a-year update speed i have been going at!
