The doji was about a 3 day journey from where Sesshomaru and Rin had met up. Along the way Sesshomaru had begun asking Rin a multitude of questions. All ranging from what her favorite color might be to how she might react in certain situations. Rin chuckled at the more talkative Sesshomaru and sighed thinking of Inuyasha. She wondered why the events had happened the way they had and how something so wrong and immoral somehow brought Kagome and Inuyasha closer. She hoped that the pup would never question his origins and accept Inuyasha as his father so that the newly formed bond between the brothers might not be strained again. All these thoughts as she walked next to her lord. She was Much more Mature now then she had been when she started her first pursuit to mend the InuTaisho family.

"My Lord it is getting rather dark, Perhaps we should settle at a spring or somewhere we can build a fire." Sesshomaru halted and looked around. "Hmmm, There is a town 30 minutes from here, lets stay at an establishment Rin, No need for you to sleep on the ground, your Kimono might be soiled." Rin choked on her own breath. This could not be her Sesshomaru, He never spoke so often nor did he speak so kindly to her. She was growing suspicious but she would take this opportunity to find out whether this man was an imposter or truly the 'dark side' of her lord. When they came to the city the streets were filled with lights of many colors and business' were open providing food and shelter to many taking advantage of the scarcity and charging outrageous amounts per room. The sound of loud chatter, and music paraded the halls and the smell of sweet cakes and warm rice perfumed the air. Rin's stomach growled and her face drooped with childish hunger. Sesshomaru looked back and smirked, He paid for a room and then proceeded to follow the maiden and become comfortable. Rin recognized this part of her lord. He was focused and aware of his surroundings, His first action was to settle his weapons and set up his rest area. Rin watched him trying to hide her hunger and avoid slouching which would not be an appealing posture. Sesshomaru seemed to ignore her now and Rin sighed. This was her Sesshomaru, mood swings and personality switches that were never predictable. It was then that a geisha creeped in with tea and sweet rolls, offering to play her music for them, at a price of course; she was an entertainer after all. Rin looked at Sesshomaru who stood on the patio area looking up at the sky and winked at the Geisha. "I know my lord does not care for music but perhaps if you play a certain song. His mother told me about it once it is very beautiful hopefully you know it..." Rin whispered more into the woman's ear and she shook her head apologizing for she did not know it. Rin then asked if she might barter for the instruments as she wouldn't mind entertaining her lord instead. The Girl wagered a price and Rin nearly feinted. Shaking her head she bartered all her money and even some jewelry she had managed to make on their trip for the instruments. When the Geisha returned Rin then asked her the rules for Food at the Business which the Geisha smiled and replied with a rude scoff. Sighing Rin looked over at Sesshomaru, Moving the instruments to the far right corner of the room she then strode to his side. Her hands were soft and caramel and she let them wash over his back and through the streams of silver hair that lined his shadow. He looked over at her and she felt his glare. He did not want to be touched right now...

Rin took his hand in her palm and kissed it gently. "I will leave you be then my lord..." She shut her eyes and smiled as she walked smoothly off. He did not look at her again, she knew he wouldn't. She grabbed a violin and began to tune it, then the rest of the instruments. She bobbed her head hearing the tune in her head and fiddling the notes to see if she could create the song without practice. She knew she might not be good at it but she would definately try. (Finding Beauty Craig Armstrong.) Rin felt the warmth of the rays coming in from the stars. She remembered that feeling ever since she had learned to use the stars and sunlight to weave her skills had been finely tuned to benefit her in all ways. She hoped that this might be her way to touch her lord with more than her physical body, her way to speak the words that wouldn't come from her lips and maybe she could feel the words he wanted to say. The violin notes rising and falling sounded like her heart, her love that swirled with joy and sadness together in beautiful harmony. Sadness for the years lost to chaos and death, joy for the moments of pure love and happiness they shared in their quiet moments. Then the noise of her soft humming chimed together to bring the feeling of passion and hope the tune took Sesshomaru by surprise. As he looked at the stars he watched silvery rays of light stream along and the form of a woman loving a man through struggle and through paradise, the lows and the highs of life and then finally lying next to each other old and grey, eyes sparkling at one another feeling complete and perfect. A smiled creased over his lips and he looked finally at Rin, Her body was screaming for food and yet she was spending her time right now to entertain him and bring his attention to her feelings and desires without disturbing his space. He loved this girl the one who knew him so completely and without falter this girl who had lost her life for him without question, on more than one occasion yet held no resentment or disdain for the cards life had dealt her. He snuck past her reverie and commanded that a small feast be brought to his room and that it be done before he was able to return to his room lest he destroy the place. His face was cold and serious and so it was done, and When Sesshomaru peered from the side he saw Rin's happy smile and watched her gorge until full on the food.

Rin watched Sesshomaru eat hastily before her and enjoyed the company they shared for the first couple of hours. Then she wanted to show her new found Gift to Sesshomaru so she pulled upon his Kimono sleeve yet again childishly dragging him to the open patio once more. "My Lord did you notice earlier that the stars seemed to weave a story for you in tune with my song?" Sesshomaru stared at the sky but said nothing. "Watch this my lord..." Rin looked up at the Moon, it was a torch of white fire in the sky illuminating the town and she weaved the starlight together, the hues of emerald, diamond, and pink. She shifted them so that a small phoenix burst and fluttered about spurts of emerald like flame wings in the air as little embers. Sesshomaru grinned in wonder and looked down at Rin, her eyes the color of moonlight and lit up in amber wonder. Her skin lighted by the moon so that she was a sweet soft brown sugar with cherry lips. He wrapped his arm around her and watched her weave the light for a few more moments before turning her to face him and taking her lips with his own. Rin's body flew with the desire he ignited inside her and they shared a perfect moment together that night, Rin knew this man would never hurt her, never bring her pain, never allow anything but the world to lay at her feet and all she wanted was to do the same for him. She would teach him what her love felt like this night and hopefully they would come to know and even greater moment than this later on.
