*Chapter 4: The Primetime 2*
-Night 1 (10:12 p.m.)
*Deidara & Sasori's Room*
"No! You do not fully understand the true meaning of art, like always Sasori my man. Hmm," Deidara shouted from his side of the room.
The red hair snarled at the stuck up blonde across from him. I swear, they go at this every day. Art is this and art is that… It's a bunch of nonsense as their voices begun to get louder than ever.
"I don't see why you break into an argument when you know I have the right idea when it comes to art, you brat!," Sasori yelled when he gently put down one of his puppets against the wall.
Deidara was slightly disturbed by the way the puppet slouched against the pearl white wall; its eyes crossed and its mouth hung open.
"Jeez guy, do you have to put them there? It's kind of creeping me out. Hmm," Dei commented as he focused on it hard, with an expression like he had the hibbie-jeebies.
"I prefer it in my view. In case something were to occur and I would need them," Sasori responded.
"You can't put them away in the closet? Hmm."
"No."
"Why not?"
"Like I said, I want them here for instant access. Besides, they look like they're part of the room's decorations."
The thought of them sitting around and staring in his view made Deidara shudder. He didn't want to go to bed knowing they appeared to be staring back at him. Not to mention, in addition to the puppets, there were those big wide eyed girly dolls placed on shelves straight across from his bed. Why did we get the doll room?
Deidara face-palmed himself, dreading that they got the last pick. Now he was stuck with these weirdos, including Sasori.
"I still think we should put those things away. Hmm," Deidara reminded his partner.
"I'm not going to tell you again Deidara, I will not put the puppets away in the closet."
"Why would you want to keep them out? I'll probably trip over them because they'll be in the damn way! Hmm!"
"You shouldn't be anywhere near them brat!"
And so they continued their argument through the night, throwing in more reasons to complain, the levels of their voices only increasing as it carried on and on and on. It was surely loud enough for the neighbors to hear from five blocks away.
*Kakuza & Hidan's Room*
"My God, those idiots need to shut the fuck up!," Hidan complained painfully.
"It's too late now. They're already in the middle of it. I'm going to guess it'll take another thirty minutes to an hour before they shut down for the night," Kakuzu commented lowly as he and Hidan lay in their separate beds.
They were ready to catch some Z's, unfortunately, Deidara and Sasori weren't making it easy on them. While Kakuzu pretended like there was no commotion going on next door, Hidan was groaning and growling under the sheets, tossing and turning as the argument outside continued to irritate him. He lied on his back and stared up at the ceiling, grinding his teeth together as the voices caused his deep headache.
"Seriously Kakuzu, isn't there any way you can shut their traps? I'd like to be able to fucking SLEEP!," Hidan griped through his teeth.
"Ugh. There is nothing I can do. I'd rather not get in between those two. I might accidentally kill them," Kakuzu answered in his resting deep voice.
Then Hidan heard the sound of glass breaking from the other room. He knew Deidara and Sasori were now getting physically violent and was actually concerned that those "idiots" were going to tear the house down with their pointless bickering.
Bumping and thumping were next to be sounded from the room and louder the thumps and bumps were, the more agonizing Hidan's headaches began to be at the moment. He felt like he couldn't take it anymore. He jumped out of his bed and opened the closet to reveal his three bladed scythe and pulled it out in a yank.
"That's it! I've had enough of their damn destruction! It's time I took action," he announced as he stomped his way towards the bedroom door.
"Hidan! Stop where you are and go back to bed," Kakuzu demanded his partner sternly as he slowly sat up in his bed.
Hidan was stunned by his intervention and only tightened the grip on his blade.
"But why?! Those bratty bastards are getting annoying! I can't take it anymore," Hidan complained as he swung the blade around in a fit.
Kakuzu sighed heavily before giving a response.
"It will be over in a few."
"Huh? What the hell do you mean?"
That is when they heard Deidara and Sasori's bedroom door open forcefully, causing the room to fall silent quickly. Then the sounds of pleading and begging were coming from Deidara while Sasori started pointing the blame at him. This puzzled Hidan for a minute as he carefully listened through the walls, lowering his scythe.
"ALMIGHTY PUSH!," was shouted out loud, causing Hidan to flinch and duck down a bit from the sudden noises.
The walls vibrated and two large thumps were all that Hidan heard last. Afterwards, silence filled the air. Bewildered, he darted at Kakuzu, who was turned to the opposite side and seemingly snoozing away. His eye began twitching and all he could do was exhale hugely. He then put away his scythe back in the closet, brushed his fingers through his silver hair and crawled back into bed.
"See? Pein took take of everything," Kakuzu added in his soft, tired voice.
Hidan glanced at the back of his head and cursed under his breath as he tossed himself to the side and tried to fall asleep.
*Zetsu & Tobi's Room*
"Tobi is a good boy. Tobi is a good boy. Tobi is a good boy…," Tobi whispered to himself, in a shaky tone.
He and Zetsu were forced to share a bedroom that only had one queen sized bed, so unfortunately, they also had to sleep together. As Tobi tried to not think about how uncomforting it was to share a bed with his creepy partner, Zetsu lied on his side, facing Tobi with eyes wide open; his expression emotionless. Jeez, doesn't this guy ever rest? Children better hide under the sheets. Adults too.
Tobi was very freaked out. He didn't know what to say or do to get the plant man to cover up. He held on to the edge of his comforter firmly, as if he was ready to duck and cover at any moment.
"Should we eat him in his sleep?," Black Zetsu whispered to himself, mainly addressing it to his other half, White Zetsu.
Tobi shrieked and pulled the sheets over his head, terrified about slumbering.
"No. We must try to relax and rest. The leader would want us energized for the day tomorrow," White Zetsu said to Black Zetsu.
Black Zetsu sighed and mentally accepted the other half's response.
"Very well then. We shall rest…," he finally concluded as the venus trap slowly closed together, hiding his entire head.
This allowed Tobi to pop out and breathe for some air. When he saw Zetsu sealed and sleeping, he automatically sighed of relief, lied on his back and tried to drift into a deep slumber.
"We'll try to eat him later…," Black Zetsu eerily announced behind the venus leaves, startling Tobi again.
